In this peper, we proposed efficient network structure using UAV squad in DTN. In Delay Tolerant Network(DTN), the routing protocols adopting store-carry-forward method are used for solving network problem occurred by the unstable network environments. This routing method is useful for work in disaster and battle field so many researches are in progress. This paper is part of that, we use UAV squad in DTN which is dynamic environments for efficient network structure. Propsed measure use environment information in disparate sensor node and organize UAV squad for stable network.

Recently, demands on civilian UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) has been increasing and appropriate communication system is required for the UAV. In this paper, the performance of the UAV communication system using commercial wireless mobile network is discussed. The main service area of the wireless mobile network is ground level however the flying range of the UAV is normally in high altitude. Because of this mismatch of service area the performance of the UAV communication system is degraded in high altitude. To compensate performance degradation of the UAV communications system in high altitude, adaptive array antenna is introduced which is able to overcome altitude limitation of the UAV communication system.
Disruption/Delay Tolerant Network(DTN) is a technology for interconnecting partitioned networks. These days, DTN, especially routing in DTN, draws significant attention from the networking community. In this paper, we investigate DTN routing strategies for highly partitioned ad hoc networks where Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) perform store-carry-forward functionality for improved network connectivity. Also we investigate UAV trajectory control mechanisms via simulation studies.

In this paper, a operation network system equipped with onboard wireless communication systems and ground-based mission control systems is proposed for swarm flight of small UAVs. This operating system can be divided into two networks, UAV communication network and ground control system. The UAV communication network is intend to exchange the informations of navigation, mission and flight status with minimum time delay. The ground control system consisted of mission control systems and UDP network. Proposed operation network system can make a swarm flight of various UAVs, execute complex missions decentralizing mission to several UAVs and cooperte several missions. Finally, PILS environments are developed based on the total operating system.
In recent years, the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) assisted mobile free space optical (FSO) communication technique has attracted considerable attention regarding its aims to provide improved communication conditions for fixed-to-fixed FSO network and promising fronthaul and backhaul solutions for 5G+ wireless networks. This can be attributed to its outstanding advantages such as fast deployment and flexible network configuration. The UAV-assisted mobile FSO system can be used to provide cost-effective internet services in rural and remote areas and in hotspot areas that are characterized by increased data traffic. Additionally, it can be used to provide secure communication services under emergency circumstances. In this report, we review recent R&D trends in wireless network technology employing the UAV-assisted mobile FSO technique and key technologies for mobile FSO wireless networks. Furthermore, we introduce drone-based mobile FSO terminals and control systems that we have developed.

UAV system has the limitation to allocate enough spectrum bandwidth for the operation of multiple UAVs due to the market expansion. In addition, the communication environment of UAV network varies dynamically due to the UAV's mobility. Thus, to operate the stable UAV system and maximize the transmission data rate, it needs to allocate the resource effectively in the limited bandwidth considering the given network environment. In this paper, we propose the resource allocation algorithm which can maximize the network throughput as well as satisfy the minimum data requirement for the UAV system operation in the given network environment based on TDMA(Time Division Multiple Access). By performance analysis, we show that the proposed algorithm can allocate the resource to satisfy the high network throughput as well as the minimum data requirement in the given network environment.
This paper proposes time management system for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) network. The computers of the UAVs need time synchronization that time offset does not exceed the minimum interval of data samples for errorless data blending between the computers. The proposed time management system is composed of time synchronization and general management systems for UAV control. The systems communicate each other for time information and control signals. The synchronization system uses improved version of existing time offset estimation that network time protocol (NTP) uses. The time synchronization is operated when the time offset of any UAV exceeds threshold that preconfigured by the general management system. The demonstration of prototype shows stable time synchronization satisfying preconfigured threshold.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) networks, also known as drone networks, have gained significant attention for their potential in various applications, including communication. UAV networks for communication involve using a fleet of drones to establish wireless connectivity and provide communication services in areas where traditional infrastructure is lacking or disrupted. UAV communication networks need to be highly secured to ensure the technology's security and the users' safety. The proposed survey provides a comprehensive overview of the current state-of-the-art UAV network security solutions. In this paper, we analyze the existing literature on UAV security and identify the various types of attacks and the underlying vulnerabilities they exploit. Detailed mitigation techniques and countermeasures for the protection of UAVs are described in this paper. The survey focuses on the implementation of novel technologies like Q-learning, blockchain, IRS, and mmWave. This paper discusses network simulation tools that range in complexity, features, and programming capabilities. Finally, future research directions and challenges are highlighted.

Recently, as the industrial scope of multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicles(UAV) is greatly expanded, the demands for data collection, processing, and analysis using UAV are also increasing. However, the acoustic data collected by using the UAV is greatly corrupted by the UAV's motor noise and wind noise, which makes it difficult to process and analyze the acoustic data. Therefore, we have studied a method to enhance the target sound from the acoustic signal received through microphones connected to UAV. In this paper, we have extended the densely connected dilated convolutional network, one of the existing single channel acoustic enhancement technique, to consider the inter-channel characteristics of the acoustic signal. As a result, the extended model performed better than the existed model in all evaluation measures such as SDR, PESQ, and STOI.
Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-assisted relay has the advantages of ease of deployment, good communication channels, and mobility over traditional terrestrial relay, which greatly improves wireless connectivity. In this paper, we design a UAV-enabled relay network that can utilize radio frequency bands to harvest energy from sources and utilize terahertz (THz) bands to transmit information between secondary transmitters and receivers. Next, we solve the optimal position of the UAV that maximizes the relay channel capacity, and propose an algorithm to design two trajectories of UAV (a straight and an elliptical trajectory) using the derived solution. Numerical results show that the straight trajectory is better in terms of harvested energy and channel capacity.
