Fabrication technique of $(Th,U)O_2$ pellets has been investigated. Powder mixtures of $ThO_2\;and\;UO_2$ were milled in two different ways-dry and wet milling. Milled powder was compacted and sintered to $(Th,U)O_2$ pellets. The wet-milled powder leads to a $(Th,U)O_2$ pellet having a high sintered density and uniform distribution of U and Th, compared to the dry-milled powder. The sintered density of a $(Th,U)O_2$ pellet tends to decrease by increasing the content of $ThO_2$. The thermal conductivity of $ThO_2\;and\;(Th,U)O_2$ pellets was measured by the laser flash method. The thermal conductivity of the $ThO_2$ pellet is higher than that of the $UO_2$ pellet, and the thermal conductivities of $(Th,U)O_2$ pellets containing $65wt\%\;and\;35wt\%\;ThO_2$ pellets are lower than that of the $UO_2$ pellet.

We have theoretically studied the nonadiabatic transitions among the five lower states with the Ω=$1_u$ symmetry ($1_u^{(1)} to 1_u^{(5)}$) in the photodissociation of Cl₂, Br₂, and I₂by using the spin-orbit configuration interaction (SOCI) method and the semiclassical time-dependent coupled Schrodinger equations. From the configuration analyses of the SOCI wavefunctions, we found that the nonadiabatic transition between $1_u^{(2)}$ and $1_u^{(1)}$ is a noncrossing type, while that between $1_u^{(3)}$ and $1_u^{(4)}$ is a crossing type for all the molecules. The behavior of the radial derivative coupling element between $1_u^{(1)}$ and $1_u^{(2)}$ and that between $1_u^{(3)}$ and $1_u^{(4)}$ is analyzed in detail. In Cl₂, nonadiabatic transitions can take place even between the states correlating to different dissociation limits, while in Br₂ and I₂, with the usual photon energies e.g. less than 20 eV, nonadiabatic transitions occur only between the states correlating to the same dissociation limits, reflecting the different magnitudes of the spin-orbit interactions.

무게 비로 6%의 Gd가 치환된 이산화 우라늄, ( $U_{0.913}$G $d_{0.087}$) $O_2$를 475$^{\circ}C$ 공기 분위기에서 산화시키고 130$0^{\circ}C$ 공기 분위기에서 열처리시킬 때 변화하는 결정 구조, 형상 등을 XRD, SEM 및 EPMA 등을 이용하여 관찰하였다. 입방계 구조의 ( $U_{0.913}$G $d_{0.087}$) $O_2$는 475$^{\circ}C$ 공기 분위기에서 사방정게 구조의 ( $U_{0.913}$G $d_{0.087}$)$_3$ $O_{8}$로 산화되었다. 저온 산화에 의해 생성된 사방정계 130$0^{\circ}C$의 고온에서 열처리하는 동안 사방정계 상과 압방정계 상으로 다시 분리되었다. XRD와 EPMA 관찰결과, 분리된 사방정계 상과 입방정계 상은 각각 $U_3$ $O_{8}$과 ( $U_{0.67}$G $d_{0.33}$) $O_{2+}$x/인 것을 확인하였다. 열처리 동안 일어나는 일련의 산화와 상 분리 과정은 상 반응식으로 나타낼 수 있다. 각 열처리 단계에서의 무게 변화비를 측정하고 상 반응식을 이용하면 (U,Gd) $O_2$에 고용되어 있는 초기 Gd 함량을 정확히 계산할 수 있다.

In this paper, we study the generalized Kirchhoff type equation in the presence of past and finite history $$\large u_{tt}-M(x,t,{\tau},\;{\parallel}{\nabla}u(t){\parallel}^2){\Delta}u+{\normalsize\displaystyle\smashmargin{2}{\int\nolimits_0}^t}\;h(t-{\tau})div[a(x){\nabla}u({\tau})]d{\tau}\\\hspace{25}-{\normalsize\displaystyle\smashmargin{2}{\int\nolimits_{-{\infty}}}^t}\;k(t-{\tau}){\Delta}u(x,t)d{\tau}+{\mid}u{\mid}^{\gamma}u+{\mu}_1u_t(x,t)+{\mu}_2u_t(x,t-s(t))=0.$$ Under the smallness condition with respect to Kirchhoff coefficient and the relaxation function and other assumptions, we prove the expoential decay rate of the Kirchhoff type energy.

We consider the multiplicity of the solutions for a class of a system of critical growth beam equations with periodic condition on t and Dirichlet boundary condition $$\{u_{tt}+u_{xxxx}=av+\frac{2{\alpha}}{{\alpha}+{\beta}}u_{+}^{{\alpha}-1}v_{+}^{\beta}+s{\phi}_{00}\;\;in\;(-\frac{\pi}{2},\;\frac{\pi}{2}){\times}R,\\u_{tt}+v_{xxxx}=bu+\frac{2{\alpha}}{{\alpha}+{\beta}}u_{+}^{\alpha}v_{+}^{{\beta}-1}+t{\phi}_{00}\;\;in\;(-\frac{\pi}{2},\;\frac{\pi}{2}){\times}R,$$ where ${\alpha}$, ${\beta}$ > 1 are real constants, $u_+=max\{u,0\}$, ${\phi}_{00}$ is the eigenfunction corresponding to the positive eigenvalue ${\lambda}_00=1$ of the eigenvalue problem $u_{tt}+u_{xxxx}={\lambda}_{mn}u$. We show that the system has a positive solution under suitable conditions on the matrix $A=\(\array{0&a\\b&0}\)$, s > 0, t > 0, and next show that the system has another solution for the same conditions on A by the linking arguments.

본 연구의 목적은 대전 지역의 U-도서관 적정입지를 제안하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 문헌연구 및 국내의 U-도서관 현황 분석을 통해 적정입지선정을 위한 평가지표를 도출하고 이를 바탕으로 공공도서관의 위치, 제안위치와의 반경, 지하철역별 수송실적, 관공서·교통시설·편의시설, 주요시설의 현황, 지역구별 거주인주수 등을 분석, 적용하였다. 최종적으로 이를 종합하여, 대전 지역의 5개 자치구인 대덕구 2개, 동구 2개, 서구 4개, 유성구 6개, 중구 2개 총 16개의 U-도서관 위치를 제안하였다.

Macrophages activated by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) are known to induce several proinflammatory proteins including COX-2. iNOS and TNF which produce chemical mediators involved in inflammatory response. Sophoricoside and its analogs (genistin, genistein and orobol) from Sophora japonica (Leguminosae) showed differential inhibitory effects on COX-1 and 2 activities. Sophoricoside and genistin shwoed IC50 values of 4 uM and 6 uM on COX-2 activity and of 1,497 uM and 135 uM on COX-1 activity, respectively. Genistein and orobol showed IC50 values of 3 uM on COX-2 activity and of 28 uM and 18 uM on COX-1 activity. respectively. Therefore. the legume isoflavonoids to be selective COX-2 inhibitors. However. sophoricoside and its analogs did not show inhibitory effects of COX-2, iNos and TNF transcripts. which were identified by the RT-PCR.

최근 U-City 계획을 수립한 지자체의 U-서비스는 시설 및 도시 관리 위주의 서비스로 구현되고 있으며, 시민 맞춤형 U-서비스는 계획에만 그치고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 U-City 종합계획과 U-City 계획의 U-서비스 내용을 네트워크 텍스트 분석과 단어 빈도 분석을 통해 비교 검토하여 향후 시민 맞춤형 U-서비스 제공을 위한 시사점을 제시하였다. 제1, 2차 U-City 종합계획과 4개 지방자치단체의 U-City 계획 중 U-서비스 계획 내용을 추출하여 주요 단어들을 산출하였고, 도출된 단어를 통해 네트워크 텍스트 분석과 단어 빈도 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과를 바탕으로 향후 U-City 종합계획에서는 지자체의 특색에 따른 서비스 추가와 정책 재정 지원 및 시민의 필요사항을 반영하여 다양한 분야의 시민 맞춤형 U-서비스 개발과 같은 시사점을 도출하였으며, 이를 통해 U-City에 대한 시민들의 인식 또한 증가될 것으로 기대할 수 있다.

We study existence of positive solutions of the classical nonlinear Schr$\ddot{o}$dinger equation $-{\Delta}u\;+\;V(x)u\;-\;f(x,\;u)\;-\;H(x)u^{2*-1}\;=\;0$, u > 0 in $\mathbb{R}^n$ $u\;{\rightarrow}\;0\;as\;|x|\;{\rightarrow}\;{\infty}$. In fact, we consider the following more general quasi-linear Schr$\ddot{o}$odinger equation $-div(|{\nabla}u|^{m-2}{\nabla}u)\;+\;V(x)u^{m-1}$ $-f(x,\;u)\;-\;H(x)u^{m^*-1}\;=\;0$, u > 0 in $\mathbb{R}^n$ $u\;{\rightarrow}\;0\;as\;|x|\;{\rightarrow}\;{\infty}$, where m $\in$ (1, n) is a positive number and $m^*\;:=\;\frac{mn}{n-m}\;>\;0$, is the corresponding critical Sobolev embedding number in $\mathbb{R}^n$. Under appropriate conditions on the functions V(x), f(x, u) and H(x), existence and non-existence results of positive solutions have been established.

In this paper, we prove the global existence and uniqueness of the dissipative Kirchhoff equation $$u_{tt}-M({\parallel}{\nabla}u{\parallel}^2){\triangle}u+{\alpha}u_t+f(u)=0\;in\;{\Omega}{\times}[0,{\infty}),\\u(x,t)=0\;on\;{\Gamma}_1{\times}[0,{\infty}),\\{\frac{{\partial}u}{\partial{\nu}}}+g(u_t)=0\;on\;{\Gamma}_0{\times}[0,{\infty}),\\u(x,0)=u_0,u_t(x,0)=u_1\;in\;{\Omega}$$ with nonlinear boundary damping by Galerkin approximation benefited from the ideas of Zhang et al. [33]. Furthermore,we overcome some difficulties due to the presence of nonlinear terms $M({\parallel}{\nabla}u{\parallel}^2)$ and $g(u_t)$ by introducing a new variables and we can transform the boundary value problem into an equivalent one with zero initial data by argument of compacity and monotonicity.
