정상인과 비만인의 수면 일주기 리듬과 수면 질의 차이 (Difference in Sleep Circadian Rhythm and Sleep Quality between Normal-weight and Obese Group)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to understand sleep circadian rhythm and sleep quality between normal-weight and obese group according to Body Mass Index to develop education and nursing intervention programs for the obese. Methods: This study involved 186 subjects who visited at S hospital obesity clinic, K province. They were divided into 2 groups: normal-weight group 91 and obese group 95. Data were collected from October 18th to November 12th in 2013. Data were analyzed with frequency, percentage, ${\chi}^2$-test, Mann-Whitney U test, ANCOVA, t-test and ANOVA with using SPSS version 20.0. Results: The results showed that morning type 1.1%, middle type 91.2% and evening type 7.7% of sleep circadian rhythm in normal-weight group and middle type 92.6% and evening type 7.4% of sleep circadian rhythm in obese group. There were statistically significant results on sleep quality with covariance sex and stress, sleep duration, habitual sleep efficiency and sleep disturbance between normal-weight and obese group. There were statistically significant results on sleep quality, sleep duration, habitual sleep efficiency and sleep disturbance in middle type of sleep circadian rhythm between normal-weight and obese group. Conclusion: Therefore, it is necessary to consider subject's sleep pattern to develop education and nursing intervention programs for the obese.

프리캐스트 바닥판의 자기부상열차 가이드웨이 시스템 적용성 평가 : 모의 시공 실험 (Applicability Evaluation of Precast Deck to the Maglev Guideway System : Mock-Up Construction Test)

  • 자기부상열차는 궤도 위에 부상하여 운행하는 시스템이다. 자기부상열차의 특성상 주행 중 부상공극을 일정하게 유지하는 것이 사용성 및 승객의 승차감 면에서 매우 중요하다. 이 연구는 2006년 출범한 도시형 자기부상열차 실용화 사업단의 3-1 세부과제 선로구축물 성능개선 과제의 협동연구과제로 자기부상열차교량 상부구조의 급속시공법 개발을 목표로 연구를 수행하였다. 현재 도로교에서 프리캐스트 바닥판은 품질, 공기 면에서 현장타설 바닥판에 비해 우수하며, 널리 사용되고 있다. 따라서, 연구진은 3-1세부과제의 주관기관인 한국철도기술연구원과 협업을 통하여 1차년도에 PSC-U형 거더 및 개구제형 강재 거더에 프리캐스트 바닥판을 적용하여 자기부상열차 가이드웨이의 기본 시스템을 제안한 바 있다. 이 연구에서는 PSC-U형 거더, 프리캐스트 바닥판 및 새로운 형식의 가이드레일 시스템을 적용한 자기부상열차 가이드웨이의 시공성, 사용성, 유지관리성을 평가하고자 거더-바닥판-궤도로 이루어진 목업 실험체를 실대형 크기로 제작하여 실제 시공 환경과 비슷한 모의 시공을 수행하였다.

지방자치단체의 유형별 보행자사고 특성분석 및 보행환경조성사업 개선방안 연구 (A Study on the Implementation of Walking Environment Projects by Analyzing Characteristics of Pedestrian Accidents by Local Government Types)

  • 본 연구는 비계층적 K-평균 군집분석을 이용하여 보행자사고와 토지이용특성에 따른 지방자치단체의 유형을 분류하고 유형별 보행자사고의 세부특성을 Mann-Whitney U검증과 Kruskal-Wallis 검증을 이용하여 분석한 다음 그 결과로부터 보행환경 조성사업에 대한 개선방안을 제안하였다. 지역은 행정시와 행정구를 제외한 기초지방자치단체를 기준으로 230개 시 군 구로 구분된다. 비계층적 K-평균 군집분석 결과 230개 지방자치단체는 유형 1-A(상업지가 상대적으로 우세한 도시형), 유형 1-B(주거지가 우세한 도시형), 유형 2(농촌형)로 분류되었으며, 지자체 유형별 보행자사고 차이 검증결과 9m 미만 생활형 도로의 보행자사고 발생율은 공통적으로 60% 이상으로 도시형에 비해 농촌형에서 발생할 비율이 더 높았다. 또한 유형별로 유형 1-B는 교차로 내 보행자사고 사상자수가 많고 횡단 중 사고 비율도 높은 반면 길가장자리구역 통행 중 보행자 사상자수 비율은 유형 2에 해당하는 농촌형이 가장 높았다.

맥파 스트레스 지수를 활용한 도시철도 건설공사자의 안전보건관리 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Safety and Health Management Plan of Subway Construction Workers using Macpa Stress Index)

  • South Korea will soon be a super-aged society, as more than 20.6% of its population will be 65 years and older by 2025. As of 2022, 17.5% of the total population in South Korea is 65 years and older, which exceeds the set threshold for an aged society, where more than 14% of the population is 65 years and older. The proportion of older subway construction workers has increased. Aging workers and their work stress negatively impact their workability. A previous study demonstrated that the stress index measured using the uBioMacpa measurement device (Macpa stress index) had a significant correlation with work stress in South Korea. The device tests vascular health and measures stress levels via Macpa signal analysis. In this study, the pulse waves of subway construction workers were measured using uBioMacpa to identify their stress levels. The stress levels were analyzed by age, years of service, job position, employment type, and work type. Herein, these statistics could not be easily represented by a normal distribution; therefore, the Kruskal-Wallis test, a nonparametric statistical method, was used for the analysis of data. The results showed that age, job position, employment type, and working type affected the Macpa stress index and the stress levels of workers increased with age. In terms of job position, technical engineers were more stressed than other workers because of their poor working environment. In terms of employment type, daily-wage workers were more stressed than other workers. In terms of working type, tunneling, waterproofing, and construction scored the highest Macpa stress indexes without any significant difference, whereas earthworks scored the lowest. Based on the analysis of Macpa stress index, safety and health management plans were proposed to reduce the stress levels of workers. Moreover, a manual for efficient stress management must be developed for subway construction workers.

  • Power consumption in the building thermal load could be the sum of the building fabric conduction load, building ventilation convection load and other such as radiation loss load. Dynamic Breathing Building (DBB) is the state-of-the-art to improve the wall insulation and indoor air quality(IAQ) performance as making air flow through the wall. This heat recovery type DBB contributes the power consumption saving due to the improved dynamic U-value. KIER twin test cell with static insulation(SI) and dynamic insulation(DI) at KIER was developed to test building power consumption at the real outside conditions. Then, the actual results were compared with the theory to predict the power consumption at the KIER twin test cell and introduced the building new radiation loss factor $\alpha$ to explain the difference between the both the theory and the actual case. As the results, the power consumption at the breathing DI wall building could saved 10.8% at the 2ACH(Air change per hour) compared with conventional insulation. The building radiation loss factor $\alpha$ for this test condition to calibrate the actual test was 0.55 in the test condition.

기능성 브래지어 패턴디자인 연구 -돌출.하수 유방유형을 중심으로- (A Study on the functional pattern design for brassiere-focusing on large-breasted women-)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop designs and patterns of a functional brassiere. For this purpose, women who have protruding and drooping breasts with 75B for their brassiere size were sampled. The fitting test for the fitness and function of test brassiere and control brassiere were carried out twice and compared the results from the both in terms of front, rear and side looks. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; 1. The results from measuring the level of sag and spread, and volume and protrusion of breasts shows that there are some distinctive differences in the measurements before and after wearing the test brassiere and the test brassiere is proved to be very effective in correcting breasts' shapes. 2. Front look: Since the two front cutting lines of the test brassiere served to have the curved main part pressing against the breasts, it could support breasts to more than satisfactory level. In addition, upperline panel and side panels of the test brassiere were found to have the upperline of the upper cup pressed against the breasts and at the same time it pressed and gathered the flab around upper part of the breasts and armpits that helped to rearrange the shape of the breasts. It is also proved that the two-pieced test brassier was found to be more functional in supporting the lower cup of the breasts. 3. Rear look: The test brassier was made up of two wide U-shaped wings with 2.5cm tape on its lower sides. Each wing has 4 lines and 3 hems (5.5cm). For this reason, the test brassiere was tighter and better fitted on its back. 4. Side look and entire look: The wings of the test brassiere might look wider than that of the control brassier which has conventional straight-shaped wings, but it was analyzed that the test brassiere held the upper and lower sides of the wings more effectively to be more pressed against the breast. Therefore, the test brassiere scored higher in terms of adjusting to body movements, while the control brassiere looked better in overall terms. 5. The functional brassier fur protruding and drooping breasts developed from the experiments of this study is a full side stretch brassiere which covers the entire breasts satisfactorily.   • The flow of groundwater in fractured medium is related to the geometric characteristics of the fracture system. And a fracture aperture and a fracture density are considered as important factor concerning the permeability. Data acquisition of the properties of fracture such as aperture and density is so difficult and has uncertainty. We also cannot know the fracture characteristics through the in-situ tests. We usually obtain the fracture information from a ultrasonic scan logging or borehole television indirectly. Using the deduced results, we can make the fracture system and simulate the groundwater flow and solute transport in the crystalline rock. This study aimed to analyze the correlation between the properties of fracture and hydraulic conductivities obtained at the same interval. The properties of fracture are examined by acoustic televiwer and hydraulic conductivities are obtained by constant Pressure injection test. The distributioin of fracture width and fracture frequency shows the log-normal probability plot. And, Results of correlation analysis explain that opened type fractures have proper relation with hydraulic conductivity. But, as though there are semi-opened type fractures or closed type fractures, those have the permeable structure.

  • Recently, the polymer insulators which are being used for high voltage applications have some advantages such as light weight, small size, vandalism resistance, hydrophobicity and easy making process. During outdoor service of polymer insulators, the surface of the insulating material is frequently subjected to moisture and contamination which lead to the well known phenomenon of dry band arcing. Their tracking resistance, erosion resistance, end sealing and shed design are very important because dry band arcing causes degradation of polymer surface. The shape design of porcelain insulator is formalized but design standard for polymer insulator is no standardized up to now, much research is necessary in real condition. In this paper, the aging property of polymer insulator with shed shape(regular, alternative type) is analyzed through numerical analysis, CEA(canadian electricity association) tracking wheel test and IEC 61109 Annex C.

자동차용 강판의 표면 마찰 특성에 대한 접촉 압력의 영향 (Contact Pressure Effect on Frictional Behavior of Sheet Steel for Automotive Stamping)

  • Many parameters influence the frictional behavior of steel sheet during stamping. The contact pressure between a die and a sheet during stamping is one of them. Thus, this parameter is investigated for high strength steel (HSS) sheets, which are widely used for auto body panels due to their potential for weight reduction. Since HSS extend the limits of contact pressure for mild steel, the effect of this parameter on friction cannot be ignored. To investigate the influence of contact pressure on the frictional behavior of steel sheets, a flat type of friction test was conducted on three different steel sheets under various contact pressures. For bare steel sheets, the curve representing the relationship between contact pressure and friction coefficient exhibits a U shape. Coated steel sheets show a similar tendency except at low contact pressure. For these materials, when the contact pressure is very low, the friction coefficient slightly increases with pressure before it starts to decrease. The test results show that the effect of contact pressure on frictional behavior of steel sheet is not negligible even for contact pressures that are lower than the strength of HSS sheet.

에너지 파일의 현장 열응답 시험에 관한 연구 (Evaluation of Thermal Response Test of Energy Pile)

  • 최근 들어 경제적인 지열에너지 활용을 위하여 에너지 파일의 적용이 확대되고 있다. 특히 더 높은 열 교환 효율을 확보하고자 에너지 파일의 경우 통상적인 U자형 또는 W자형과 같은 라인형 지중 열교환기가 아닌 코일형 지중 열교환기를 매입하는 경우가 늘어나고 있다. 본 연구에서는 매립지 부지에 PHC 코일형 열교환기 형태의 에너지 파일을 설치하고 240시간 동안 현장 열응답 시험(thermal response test)을 실시하였다. 또한 현장에서 지층별로 시료를 채취하여 실내에서 현장 지층 물성으로 시료를 재조성한 후 비정상 탐침법(non-steady state probe method)을 이용하여 지층별 열전도도와 열확산계수를 측정하였고 등가의 열물성으로 환산하였다. 실험 결과 현장 열응답 시험에 의한 지반의 열전도도와 실내 탐침법으로 측정된 지반의 열전도도는 5%내에서 일치하였으며 아울러 지반의 또 하나의 중요한 설계인자인 등가 열확산계수의 측정방법도 제시하였다.
