Public Awareness of Digital Healthcare Services (디지털 헬스케어 서비스에 대한 일반인의 인식)

  • According to the rapid population aging and the increase of the number of people with chronic diseases, the digital healthcare services are getting more and more attention. Recent improvement in information technology has expanded the consumers of digital healthcare service from the patients to the general population. Therefore, there is a growing need for studies on the status and needs of digital healthcare users in general. This study conducted a survey of 1,000 people on their perception and attitude about four areas of digital healthcare: internet health information service, smartphone healthcare application, wearable device, and u-health. The questionnaire asked the respondents about their past experience of using digital healthcare services, the purpose of use and point to be improved. The respondents were also asked about new type and contents of digital healthcare service which they would like to use. The survey results will help developers of digital healthcare service by improving their understanding and identifying unmet needs from the general population.

  • 유비쿼터스 및 건설기술 등이 융합된 유시티는 최근 신도시를 중심으로 활발하게 구축 중에 있다. 그러나 구축 및 운영에 있어 고비용의 예산요구로 실효성을 얻기에 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 특히, 유시티 통합네트워크센터에서 요구되는 표준화된 유시티 통합플랫폼의 부재로 각각의 유시티에서 개발된 U-서비스의 재활용이 어려울 뿐만 아니라 U-서비스 간 연계에 많은 어려움이 발생하고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 SOA기반 통합플랫폼을 제시함으로써 U-서비스의 쉽고 빠른 개발, 개발된 서비스의 재활용 및 서비스 간 연계 효율성을 높일 수 있도록 설계하였다.

  • This paper proposes a method and its implementation for searching, converting, and delivering composite events and actions in the U-City Integrated Management Platform to process them efficiently through allocation and collaboration between the platform and u-services. The purpose of this method is to, when a composite event occurs, execute prompt and correct measures to reduce the damage caused by the event and prevent its spread. The proposed method also helps to simplify the complexity of corresponding business processes by modifying composite events and actions that are frequently added, delete, and revised, and delivering them to u-service systems.

  • The u-City offers diverse u-services, which are integrated with information and GIS technologies, by utilizing an integrated management platform for controlling the city efficiently, increasing convenience of city lift, and improving the quality of lives. An urban control system is a core element of the u-City to connect organically and expand all kinds of information through various u-interfaces. This study presents the implementation of a GIS service module based on the urban control system for the efficient development of u-services, which contributed to the successful execution of GIS service scenarios that include processes of unexpected events, air pollution monitoring, and emergences. The results of the study can be used as basic data for the design and operation of practical u-City services.

  • Along with the development of technology in the fourth industrial revolution, the fields that can apply artificial intelligence technology are rapidly increasing. In order to improve computational thinking, overseas countries such as the U.S. and the U.K. are already using various AI education platforms to provide artificial intelligence education. Therefore, there is an increasing need for elementary school pre-service teachers in Korea to strengthen their AI education capabilities along with the existing software education. However, it may be difficult for learners with low levels of programming experience and AI education experience to choose an AI education platform that can sustain their learning motivation. Therefore, in this study, the factors related to learning motivation in the AI education platform were explored using the ARCS model. Through this, we present the factors required by the AI education platform for motivation and sustain of learning.

  • Researches of U-Healthcare have been fulfilled lively with an advanced age and change of lifestyles. Especially, medical field has focused on researches of U-Healthcare due to that reasons. The U-Healthcare service requires the foundation technologies, such as sensor aggregating, data transmitting and realtime monitoring technologies, In this study, we implemented medical sensor that applied Bluetooth technology to guarantee the patient's movement. Moreover, we also implemented a gateway which based on Google Android System in ARM 11 Embedded system.

Analyzing the Impact of Service Quality Factors on Trust, Customer Satisfaction, and Customer Loyalty of Major Telecommunication Companies in Korea (국내 이동통신 3사별 서비스 품질 요인이 신뢰, 고객만족도 및 고객충성도에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the service quality factors in terms of customer trust, satisfaction and loyalty of the Korean telecommunication companies(SKT, KT, LG U+). Specifically, this study presents new business strategies of the each company, thereby pursuing the innovation for mature stage. Methods: To analyze the telecommunication service quality factors that contribute to customer trust, satisfaction and loyalty, this study conducted a survey targeting customers of each company. Using the data collected, the research model was built, and empirical analysis was performed through statistical processing to verify the model. Furthermore, the clarification of each hypothesis were held including the comparison analysis of each company data. Results: The results of this study are as follows; (1) When it comes to total dataset, all quality factors including trust, satisfaction and loyalty showed significant relationship, accepting every hypothesis. (2) However, for SKT and LG U+, empathy showed no significant impact on trust while the others showed significant effect. (3) Finally for KT, all service quality factors such as responsiveness, empathy, security, and customer enablement had a significant effect on trust. Conclusion: As the development of platform industry are intensified, telecommunication companies are required to manage service quality factors thoroughly, especially focusing on customer privacy and security.

  • A Social Network Service(SNS) is the best attracting internet business model and serviced in the several countries. The Facebook is the most popular SNS in a foreign country and the Cyworld is most popular one in Korea. In this paper, after investing and analyzing the existing Social Network Services, I present a new OpenU Social Network Service based on Web 2.0 concepts. This is a next generation internet platform which can be communicated with real-time chatting and share d data and talked during seeing data by collaboration functions OpenU's main characteristics and functions by screen design and implementations are explained. And also OpenU's excellence by comparing with other SNSs system is presented.

  • USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) is a core infrastructure that makes come true the u-life in the ubiquitous society through various services of area such as u-city and u-Health. Therefore, we need to reseach about the domestic standards to establish the core technique of USN. Currently, the status of USN standards is most of technical standard and reseach that are technology for sensor node implementation and a protocol for energy-efficient communication and interlock with existing network. But, Standard and reseach for sensor network, integration management of heterogeneous sensor networks for USN application, sensing data management and USN database structure definition such as application and middleware are weak level. In this paper, we researched for standard development of the domestic sensor network service and relevant standard analysis to configure SWE(Sensor Web Enablement) of OGC(Open Geospatial Consortium) for standarded plattform technoloy in part of the middleware. Also we researched that it's a connection between domestic TTA (Telecommunications Technology Association) standards and SWE Standard. Finally, we researched for standard service plattform architecture on sensor network through analysis on the possibility of applying OGC-based services platform.

  • In this paper, we proposed IoT based Smart Health Service using Motion Recognition for Human UX/UI. Until now, sensor networks using M2M-based u-healthcare are using non-IP protocol instead of TCP / IP protocol. However, in order to increase the service utilization and facilitate the management of the IoT-based sensor network, many sensors are required to be connected to the Internet. Therefore, IoT-based smart health service is designed considering network mobility because it is necessary to communicate not only the data measured by sensors but also the Internet. In addition, IoT-based smart health service developed smart health service for motion detection as well as bio information unlike existing healthcare platform. WBAN communications used in u-healthcare typically consist of many networked devices and gateways. The method proposed in this paper can easily cope with dynamic changes even in a wireless environment by using a technology supporting mobility between WBAN sensor nodes, and systematic management is performed through detection of a user's motion.
