In this paper, we shall show the existence of solutions of the following nonlinear partial differential equation $$ {^{divA(-\Delta u) = f(x, u, \Delta u) in \Omega}^{u = 0 on \partial\Omega} $$ where $f(x, u, \Delta u) = -u$\mid$\Delta u$\mid$^{p-2} + h, p \geq 2, h \in L^\infty$.

This paper, we investigate a strongly damped nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation with nonlinearities of variable exponent type $$u_{tt}-{\Delta}u-{\Delta}u_t+m^2u+{\mid}u_t{\mid}^{p(x)-2}u_t={\mid}u{\mid}^{q(x)-2}u$$ associated with initial and Dirichlet boundary conditions in a bounded domain. We obtain a nonexistence of solutions if variable exponents p (.), q (.) and initial data satisfy some conditions.

최근 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경이 발전함에 따라 교통(u-Transport), 복지(u-Care), 문화(u-Fun), 환경(u-Green), 산업(u-Business), 행정(u-Government), 도시(u-City) 뿐만 아니라 사용자의 위치와 다양한 공간 정보를 제공하는 u-GIS가 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경의 핵심 요소 기술로 대두되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 모바일 장치에서 시공간 데이타를 효율적으로 처리 및 관리할 수 있는 모바일 시공간 질의 처리 시스템을 개발하였다. 모바일 시공간 질의 처리 시스템은 OpenGIS "Simple Features Specification for SQL"에서 명시하는 공간 데이타 타입과 공간 연산자를 확장하여 시공간 데이타 타입과 시공간 연산자를 제공하고 시공간 데이타 특성을 고려한 산술 연산 코딩 압축 기법을 제공하고 모바일 시공간 질의 처리 시스템과 u-GIS 서버 사이에서 시공간 데이타 수입/수출의 성능 향상을 위한 데이타 캐슁 기능을 지원한다.

Present study deals with combustion characteristics and performance of U type radiation tube burner with fin which combustion capacity is 30,000kcal/hr and the maximum capacity of supply fuel is $30Nm^{3}/hr$. Temperature difference of radiation tube is about $173^{\circ}C$ at 25% capacity and this show relatively small temperature difference for convenient type. Thermal efficiency is satisfactory as $72{\sim}81%$. Also, radiative efficiency of radiation tube is $52{\sim}73%$. The efficiency of heat exchanger is $27{\sim}37%$. Therefore, radiative efficiency is improved to $1{\sim}10%$ after installing fin.

In this paper, we aim at establishing a generalized fractional integral version of Gr$\ddot{u}$ss type integral inequality by making use of the Gauss hypergeometric function fractional integral operator. Our main result, being of a very general character, is illustrated to specialize to yield numerous interesting fractional integral inequalities including some known results.

Let X be a Banach space, $A:D(A){\subset}X{\rightarrow}X$ the generator of a compact $C_0-semigroup\;S(t):X{\rightarrow}X,\;t{\geq}0$, D a locally closed subset in X, and $f:(a,b){\times}C([-q,0];X){\rightarrow}X$ a function of Caratheodory type. The main result of this paper is that a necessary and sufficient condition in order that D be a viable domain of the semi linear differential equation of retarded type $$u#(t)=Au(t)+f(t,u_t),\;t{\in}[t_0,\;t_0+T],{u_t}_0={\phi}{\in}C([-q,0];X)$$ is the tangency condition $$\limits_{h{\downarrow}0}^{lim\;inf\;h^{-1}d(S(h)v(0)+hf(t,v);D)=0}$$ for almost every $t{\in}(a,b)$ and every $v{\in}C([-q,0];X)\;with\;v(0){\in}D$.

In this research paper, motivated by the extension of the Euler type I transformation obtained very recently by Rathie and Paris, the authors aim at presenting the extensions of Euler type II transformation. In addition to this, a natural extension of the classical Saalsch$\ddot{u}$tz's summation theorem for the series $_3F_2$ has been investigated. Two interesting applications of the newly obtained extension of classical Saalsch$\ddot{u}$tz's summation theorem are given.

The current surveys of Ulva in the subtidal area around Jeju Island give a chance to discover unrecorded green algal species of the Korean macroalgal flora. As a result of this investigation, we found Ulva adhaerens Matusmoto & Shimada, inhabiting the subtidal regions, up to 15 m deep, and conducted the DNA barcoding on plastid rbcL-3P and tufA regions with describing the morphological characteristics. Our specimens of U. adhaerens forms a monophyletic clade with the Japanese type specimen and U. piritoka Ngāti Kuri, Heesch & W.A. Nelson from New Zealand exhibiting each 0.3% sequence divergences, respectively, in the plastid rbcL-3P. The genetic variation of U. adhaerens clade is 1.0-3.9% in rbcL-3P and 4.8-9.8% in tufA to each Ulva species, including the generic type, U. lactuca Linneaus. The morphology of Korean U. adhaerens specimens is identical to the type specimens of U. adhaerens from Japan having the development of rhizoidal filaments from both of the cell layers of the distromatic blade and the extension of rhizoidal clumps with adhesive trait between blades by extended rhizoidal clumps at the basal blades. The thallus attachment to substrate is by numerous minute discoidal plates made up of rhizoids originating from the inner part of distromatic blades in basal. Although there are still some problems to resolve the relationship between U. adhaerens and U. piritoka in the rbcL dataset and the phylogenetic pattern of the Group II intron of rbcL, we propose the new record of U. adhaerens in Korean macroalgal flora based on the morphological characteristics of Korean specimens. Continued study of the genus Ulva by morphological and molecular assessment will delimit the species of Ulva, elucidate the relationships between them, and uncover the species diversity.

본 연구에서는 실내실험을 통하여 U형 강박스거더의 상부 수평브레이싱이 휨 거동에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 기존의 수평브레이싱 설계 제안식에 대한 적정성을 검토하기 위하여, 실제 시공되고 있는 U형 강박스 거더 단면의 2/3정도 되는 캔틸레버 형식의 시험체를 제작하여 휨 실험을 수행하였다. 이로써 수집된 데이터를 분석하여 상부 수평브레이싱의 합리적인 휨 설계식 제안을 위한 기초를 마련하였다. 그리고, 상부 수평브레이싱의 형태 및 패널수의 변화에 따른 휨 실험을 통하여 브레이싱 부재의 응력을 측정하고 Helwig가 제안한 설계식으로 구한 값과 비교한 결과 합리적인 브레이싱의 형태 및 패널 수를 얻을 수 있었다.
