In aspect of stable housing support policy for the rural returning voluntary which is increasing rapidly, it is necessary to plan the suitable rural house. Therefore this paper aims to propose the suitable rural housing type and the directions of rural house planning. The 4-typical life style is summarized through the 531 cases-life style investigation of existing rural resident and the rural returning voluntary in the whole rural area. Based on the typical life style analysis, the suitable rural housing type and planning directions are proposed. I hope this paper will be a useful guide to make the suitable rural house have planning for our generation.

The purpose of this study is on the meaning and variety about gender expressed in modern fashion. The results are as follows ; First, the typical masculine gender was authority, discretion as a result of heteropatriarchy focused on the western reason. It was conservative and the symbolic image type of the meaning excluded masculine sexual expression. Dress and its ornament was expressed as the style of straight silhouette, dark color, rough and stiff material. Second, the typical feminine gender was the symbolic image type of a mother and a wife defined relatively by man as a result of western heteropatriarchy and the image type which men regarded women as sexual objects. Dress and its ornament was expressed as the style of silhouette which let bodily curve out, light color, soft material. The most typical item is dress and suit. Third, androgyny has been described as the feminie gender of androgynous, which shows masculine image as the effect of feminism and social success of professional women. Dress and its ornament is expressed as the style of business suit, the symple of typical man's one. The masculine gender of androgynous is showed man's suit as silhouette that let bodily curve out, light color, exposure and soft material, which is the symbol of feminine dress, Fourth, unisex is the area of dress and its ornament used the sexless symbol which there has been no gender more because of the spread of sports and diffusion of leisure in life style.

At the end of 2002, about 91% of mobile telecommunications service subscribers have mobile phones with the mobile internet access function. However, despite the rapid spread of mobile internet phones, the number of real mobile internet users is very small. In this situation, this paper focuses on the effect of consumer demographics such as sex, age, job, etc. and consumer life-style on the use of mobile internet. This study tries to find the answers about the following questions ; 1) Which consumer demographic variables affect the use of mobile internet\ulcorner 2) How can we categorize the consumers with the mobile internet phones\ulcorner 3) What are the characteristics of categorized groups and is there any difference in using the mobile internet\ulcorner For this purpose, an off-line survey was conducted over 1,500 consumers with the mobile internet phones. This study concludes as follows ; The important demographic factors of the use of mobile internet are age, job, marriage, academic career and personal spending money. Totally viewed in the consumer demographics, the typical type of mobile internet users can be described as the young student. On the other hand, sex and family income variables do not significantly affect the use of mobile internet. And the mobile internet users can be categorized by the life-style into four distinct groups, which are named as the innovation oriented group, the practicality oriented group, the conservation oriented group, the ostentation oriented group. These findings show that the consumer life-style have various effects on the use of mobile internet.

This paper is a part of "A Case Study on The Dwellings and Settlement of Korean Immigrants to North-Eastern Province of China". Among various subjects from the study, this paper covers with the spaces and life style in the dwellings of Korean Immigrants. The purpose of this paper is to discribe how their dwelling culture has been moved and changed to a new environment. One rural village of Korean Immigrants named "Ch'ang-ts'ai" in Yen-pien Province was selected where we investigated more than 110 households. From the formal interview, I collect the data on the family structure, family economic state, dwelling spaces and its use, and dwelling facillities and furniture. From informal interview with key informants, I analyze how they have changed their dwelling spaces and life style since they moved here. Based on the analysis of the data, I conclude that major features of their dwelling and life style has been moved from Korean penninsula, specially from 'Hamkyong' Province where their ancestor has lived. This features are summarized as follows: a. Dwelling spaces and its functions are simillar to typical dwelling type of Hamkyong Province. b. They use "Chong-ji" for both a cooking space and a major living space. c. They have a life style of sitting on the floor. d. Bedrooms are differentiated with male and female. e. Most of their dwelling facillities and furniture arc different from those of Chinese in the same province. Since they immigrated, there has been some social changes which could influence on making their dwelling culture. But they have preserved their cultural identity on their dwellings and life style. So I suggest that the dwelling culture of a society would be seldom changed by immigration, as long as they will be given similar conditions such as the independent ethnic community, the same ecosystem, and economical autonomy.

The purpose of this study is invested, recorded about traditional dwelling space, and there is to find out possibilites on the context of the inheritance of traditional life through analzing about life content and space. The results of this study are as follows: 1) Kwang Duk vililage is the typical traditional town where the confucian view of life still affects on overall housing life. 2) The pattern of layout is mainly 'ㅡ' and 'ㄱ' shaped type. In the plane and structural form, the original form is, though some parts have changed, maintained. 3) According to the analysis of transformation state of dwelling space, the category of transformation is summerized as follow ; changes of room function, increase and decrease of annex, and room size by changes of family structure, life style, farming operation style.

The purpose of this study is focused on revealing teenager characteristics and mass culture in the end of the 20th century, and researching the general traits of teenager costume in the latter half of the \`90s and the typical style based on the analysis of the teenager culture. The result of this study are following as; The general traits of teenager costume are classified with sports-orientation, brand-orientation, and foreign street fashion-orientation. Typical styles are classified with sportive look, hiphop look, and funny look. Sportive look became the core of the street fashion developed with the street sports in the city, and presented the practical use with the fashionability mixing sportswear such as hightech snickers, sports character wear and items. Hiphop look, the genderless fashion, expresses teenager\`s free life style and the diversiied sensibility and deconstructs the border of gender, racism. Funny look accepts the burden of the millenium as a humor and presents katharsis by creating unexpected style. The contemporary costume of teenager deconstructs the fixed idea about mix and match, good taste and bad taste, gender, coordination suited with T.P.O and intends ‘open costume’ for 21st century.

As an economy approach new state of affairs under the influence of the Shil-Hak philosophy, the Joshun society at 18th century gave common people to a chance to impress and to patronize the Arts. This social environment made an artist to drawing see and feel, this is a genre picture. Hong Do Kim(1745-1816 or 1818) was a typical genre picturer of Joshun, his picture reflected the time truthly and honestly and described vividly a life of common people, so expressed Realism what based on the actual. Therefore the purpose of this study is to analyze and to study costume of common people and their life style. The costume in a genre picture books are summarized. Man's basic dresses were Jugori and Baji uniformity, but based on the job or situation those had a little variation. People of a blacksmith shop wore that to enlarge sleeve of Bagi and Jugori and wore Strow Sandle exactly, in that way prepared for danger of treating hot iron. On the side, in the summer, Soikojambangiee and Deungguri jucksam wore at grain. The majority of hair style was Minsangtoo that Manggun not to be surrounded a head. Womam's basic dresses were Chima and Jugori, it was not to be different in compare with a woman of the aristocratic class, extremely appeal simplicity. But it was not to be of no accent on fashion even if common people, they wore a shot Dangko jugori that busts were seen below Jugori. A hair style was simple hair that her braid placed aboved a head, different with very richful hair style, Gachae that one‘s braid hair placed above a head, a hair style of woman of the aristocratic class and Kinuer. Because of common people's costume are not a special thing expect for basic dress-Jugori, Baji, Chima, many historical books or articles about costume are not existed. As the results of this study on costume of common people's life, we found that basic dresses appeared to a various types based on the job and the situation.

In order to solve housing shortage, an apartment has been built and supplied in large quantities in Korea. As such a result, the apartment became a typical housing type in Korea. However, the housing became vulnerable to accommodate rapidly changing life-style & life-cycle of koreans and was lost the concept of Korean traditional housing for inheriting and developing Korean traditional culture. Therefore, this paper aims at eliciting of design elements for development on standard model of long-life housing with durability & flexibility based on data derived from housing consumers's questionnaire survey and expert's opinion surveys. We expect that the standard model developed on the basis of open building applying support & infill elements will be used as a standard model for planning future long-life housing with capacity.

Philippines, having the unique combination between its traditional and vernacular culture and European culture during colonization by Spain over three hundred years, shows the variations of style and scale in domestic architectures. Bahay na bato, one of the typical house of recent stone house in Philippines, has been completed referring traditional bahay kubo and Spanish stone built house, adapting vernacular principles in traditional house and new Spanish culture and life styles. Especially, vernacular for climates, earthquakes, social and cultural conditions, environment and materials in traditional bahay kubo still alive in bahay na bato mingled with spanish architectural technology and culture. This study place emphasis on the vernacular characteristics in bahay na bato by considering the climate control method in traditional house and Spanish influences on Philippines house.

莫友芝(모유지)(1811-1871)는 청나라 말기의 저명한 학자, 시인, 서예가이다. 모유지는 일생 동안 경력이 풍부하고 시야가 넓으며 특히 증국 번 막부에 들어간 10년 동안 많은 정치, 문화 엘리트를 사귀었다. 모유지는 총명하고 부지런하며 학문에 열중했으며 당시 각계각층의 유명인들과 교유할 수 있는 기회가 있어 재능을 충분히 발휘했다. 청대에는 금석학이 전례 없이 번영했고, 서예에서는 비학(碑學)이 서단의 절대적인 주도가 되었으며, 전예서는 진한(汉漢) 이후 처음으로 크게 번영하였다. 시대에 순응한 모유지는 학문에 몰두하고 한묵을 돌보며 자신만의 서예의 길을 걷는것이 사실이다. 그의 글씨 중 전서, 예서, 해서, 행, 특히 전서 예서가 정교하다. 본 고는 예서를 바탕으로 전형적인 풍격과 비정형 형태을 각각 설명하고 예서와 다른 서체 간의 관계에 대해서도 간략하게 논의한다. 마지막으로 당대 예서 창작에 대한 예서의 참고 의의를 간략하게 요약하였다. 논술 과정에서 서예를 근거로 관련 문헌을 탐독하고 모유지의 인생 경험을 결합하여 객관적이게 진술하였다.
