대학생의 성격유형별 스트레스 대처방식이 학업소진에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - MBTI 성격유형을 중심으로 - (Study on University Students' Personality Types and Stress Management Techniques and Their Effect on Academic Burnout - Based on the MBTI Personality Assessment -)

  • 본 연구는 대학생들에게 MBTI성격유형검사를 실시하여 성격유형별 스트레스 대처방식이 학업소진에 어떤 영향을 미치는가를 연구하였다. 연구결과 성격유형은 스트레스 대처방식 및 학업소진과 밀접한 관련이 있음을 나타내고 있다. 스트레스 대처방식 중 문제중심적 스트레스 대처방식은 EP, IJ성격유형에서 부정적인 영향을 미치는 반면 소망적사고 및 정서중심적 스트레스 대처방식은 EP성격유형에서 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 상담자는 스트레스를 받은 내담자가 안정적인 상태에서 긍정적인 상상이나 기도 등을 통해 스트레스를 대처해 나갈 수 있도록 유도할 필요가 있다.

사상 유형학의 성격심리학적 고찰 (Sasang Typology from a Personality Perspective)

  • Objectives : The objective of this study was to examine the biopsychological traits of each Sasang type from a personality theory perspective. Methods : A review of different theories of personality is provided, in addition to review of ten previous studies on the psychological characteristics of the Sasang types. Results : 1. Similarities and differences were found between Sasang typology and Western theories of personality. 2. The prevalence of Sasang type was 28:36:36 (So-Yang:Tae-Eum:So-Eum), and the majority of the study sample were males in their twenties. 3. The Yin-Yang and Large-Small axes of Sasang typology were comparable to Eysenck's Extraversion and Neuroticism dimension. So-Yang type showed high extraversion and low neuroticism, and So-Eum type exhibited low extraversion and high neuroticism. Tae-Eum type was extravert and neurotic, and highly distinctive in such physical traits as Body Mass Index and blood triglyceride concentration. 4. We make recommendations for future studies on Sasang typology within a biopsychosocial and cognitive framework. Conclusions : This study demonstrates the possibility of Sasang typology being explicable from a cross-cultural biopsychosocial theory.

성격유형별 맞춤형 도서 제공이 초등학생의 독서태도에 미치는 영향 - 학교행복감과 독서성향을 중심으로 - (The Effect of Providing Books to Elementary School Students According to Their Personality Type on Their Reading Attitude: Focused on the Relationship Between School Happiness And Reading Tendency)

  • 이 연구는 성격유형별 맞춤형 도서 제공이 초등학생의 독서태도에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위하여 경기도의 초등학교 4학년~6학년 226명의 학생들을 대상으로 학교행복감과 독서성향의 관계를 분석하였으며, 에니어그램 성격유형을 검사하고 성격유형에 맞는 맞춤형 도서를 제공하여 그 효과를 파악하였다. 연구의 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자신의 성격에 맞는 책을 처방해준다는 사실이 학생들의 호기심을 자극하여 독서에 대한 흥미를 불러일으킬 수 있었다. 둘째, 자신의 성격 유형과 비슷하게 나온 친구들의 책을 함께 바꿔 읽기도 하면서 다양한 책에 접하는 노출되는 기회가 제공될 수 있었다. 셋째, 자신과 다른 성격유형의 책들이 무엇이 있는지에 대한 관심이 생겼고 그 책들을 모두 읽고 싶다는 의지가 나타났다.

  • 본 연구에서는 청소년을 대상으로 독서지도 프로그램을 실시할 때 성격유형별로 어떤 차이가 나타나는지 밝혀내고 이를 통하여 성격유형별 바람직한 독서지도의 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 이 연구를 위하여 초등학교 고학년생과 중학생을 대상으로 독서지도를 실시하면서 성격유형별 차이점을 관찰하고 이들에 대한 심층면접을 통하여 성격유형별 독서지도의 가능성을 탐색하였다. 독서지도 결과, 청소년의 독서 태도, 독서 성향, 결과물에서 성격유형별로 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

소집단 협동학습에서 성격유형별 집단구성방법이 수학적 태도 및 성취도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of the Grouping Method by Personality Types on Mathematical Attitude and Achievement in Small Group Cooperative Learning)

  • 수학과 협동학습에서 학생들의 의사소통을 포함한 유기적인 상호과정은 매우 중요하며, 소집단의 구성 방법은 학습 결과에 많은 영향을 미친다. 따라서 수학과 협동학습의 효과를 높이기 위해서는 학습자의 다양한 특성에 따라 소집단이 구성되어야 하며 이때에는 인지적 요인뿐만 아니라 정의적 요인도 신중히 고려되어야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 정의적 요인 중, 학생이 어떻게 학습하고 무엇을 학습하는지의 개인차를 나타내주는 성격유형을 협동학습을 위한 소집단 구성의 중요한 기준으로 보고 5학년을 대상으로 MMTIC 검사를 통해 성격유형별 동질집단과 이질집단을 구성하여 소집단 협동학습을 실시하였다. 그 결과 성격유형별 동질집단과 이질집단 간 수학적 태도는 차이를 보이지 않았으나 수학 성취도에 있어서는 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 즉 수학과 소집단 협동학습에서 성격유형별 동질집단 구성이 수학 성취도 향상에 효과적임을 알 수 있었다.

중학생의 성격 유형이 사고 경험에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effects of Accident Experience according to Middle School Students' Personality Type)

  • Objectives: This study aims at grasping the socio-demographic variable, safety education experience, personality type and accident experience and analyzing if the personality type influences on the accident experience. Methods: For 330 third-year students at one middle school located at Gyeonggi-Do, questionnaire survey was performed on 16th, October, 2010. Excepting data of 19 students poor in contents, 311 students' data were analyzed. Results: The results of analysis are like followings. 1. As for relation between the socio-demographic variable and accident experience, it showed statistical significance in sex and how to go to school. And there was no statistical significance in parents' job, educational level of parents, residential type, school record and allowance. 2. As for relation between safety education experience and accident experience, safety education doing school than family lowered accident incidence outstandingly. When safety education frequency increased one time, possibility to experience accident decreased to 30%. 3. As for relation between 4 personality types of MBTI and accident experience, Thinking(T) experienced accident more than Feeling(F). Moreover, it showed difference in accident type and injuried degree. This results were statistically significant. As the result of analyzing the injuried degree by sex only in Thinking(T) and Feeling(F), female students had statistically significant difference. Conclusions: Health care providers should develop school safety programs by characteristics of personality.

운전자의 불안전한 행위와 성격유형과의 상호관계에 관한 연구 (Correlation between Driver's Unsafe Acts and Personality Types)

  • The goal of this study is to find out correlation between Driver's Unsafe acts(errors and violations) and Personality types. The experiment was performed on 180 subjects, men and women between 20's and 60's having experience in driving for 6 months at least. Personality types of the subjects were classified by MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) GS type and Driver's unsafe acts were measured by KDBQ(Korean Driver Behavior Questionnaire) based on Reason's DBQ(Driver Behavior Questionnaire). The result of experiment showed several facts about the relation. The first is that the drivers of P (Perceiving) type commit more violations and slips than drivers of J(Judging) type. The second is that in the comparison among attitude indexes(EP, EJ, IP, IJ) the drivers of EP(Extroversions - Perceiving) commit more violations than other type drivers. Finally, only men of P(Perceiving) type commits more violations than men of J(Judging). Based on these facts, it is possible to use Personality types as a device to prevent unsafe acts in various fields for driver selection and accident prevention training classified by Personality types etc.

국가시험을 앞둔 치위생과 학생들의 성격유형에 따른 스트레스 요인 및 대처방안 (Stress factors by personality type of students department of dental hygiene who will take national examination soon and countermeasures)

  • This study aims to investigate the stress factors of students in Dental Hygiene Department who will soon take the national examination, corresponding countermeasures and relationship of internal and external personality. On the basis of the results from investigation, this study will identify the methods to effectively cope with stress and to take the national examination with more positive thinking for the students and faculty members in Dental Hygiene Department, who have to pass the difficult test, the national examination. The structured questionnaires were given to junior students in Dental Hygiene Department in three colleges, to identify the stress factors, methods to deal with stress and A/B personality types. For the stress factor by field, the M college showed significantly higher stress about curriculum and assignment than the C college. In the stress factor analysis by item, the lack of information on national examination in the test area, all items in learning environment, a quantity of assignment that doesn't help the preparation of national examination in the assignment area, and lack of information on employment in job area demonstrated the significant difference(p<0.05). For the methods of subjects to deal with stress, several subcategories of long-term and short-term adaptation had significance. In case of the methods to deal with stress by personality type, B type in the short-term adaptation method in M college and A type in the long-term adaptation method in C college were significantly higher(p<0.05). As for the correlation between the population sociological features and stress factors by personality type, health status had the high correlation with test in the test area. In other areas, the travel hours to school showed the significant correlation. The higher the records were, the longer the travel hours were and the better the health status was, the higher the long-term adaptation method scores were. Moreover, the personality of A type showed the higher scores in the long-term adaptation method than that of B type. The health status and personality type showed the significant correlation(p<0.05). In conclusion, it is required to prevent any situations b identify the personality type and stress reasons of the students in Dental Hygiene Department who will take the national examination soon. The additional requirement is the continuing interest and counseling of faculty members to help students to cope with stress with positive attitude.

D 유형 성격에 따른 관상동맥질환자의 정신건강과 삶의 질 (Mental Health and Quality of Life by Type-D Personality of the Patients with Coronary Artery Disease)

  • 본 연구는 D 유형 성격에 따른 관상동맥질환자의 정신건강과 삶의 질 수준을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구 대상자는 2012년 3월부터 5월까지 경기도 소재 일 대학병원의 심장내과에 입원한 관상동맥질환자 111명이었다. D 유형 성격 분류는 Type D Personality Scale (DS14)를 이용하였으며, 정신건강은 간이정신진단검사(Symptom Checklist-90-Revision, SCL-90R), 삶의 질은 세계보건기구 삶의 질 척도(World Health Quality Of Life assessment instrument, WHOQOL-BREF)를 이용하여 측정하였다. 연구결과 대상자 중 D 유형 성격은 36.1%이었다. 정신건강은 D 유형 성격 군과 D 유형 성격이 아닌 군 간에 신체화, 강박증, 대인 예민성, 우울, 불안, 적대감, 공포불안, 편집증, 정신증 영역 모두에서 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<.001). 삶의 질은 D 유형 성격 군이 49.69점으로 D 유형 성격이 아닌 군의 58.21점에 비해 낮았다(p<.001). 이상의 결과를 토대로 관상동맥질환자의 정신건강과 삶의 질 향상을 위한 간호중재프로그램의 개발을 시도하는 경우 D 유형 성격에 대한 고려가 필요하며, 부정적 정서가 강하고 사회적 제한이 심한 D 유형 성격 환자의 경우 신체적, 정신적 기능회복은 물론 사회적 적응력 향상을 위한 노력이 필요하다.

아이젱크 성격검사와 기질 및 성격검사를 통한 사상체질 특성 연구 (Study on Personality Traits of Sasang Constitution with TCI and EPQ)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to study the personality traits of Sasang constitutions by comparing the profiles of Temperament and Character Inventory (TCI) and Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ). Methods : A total of 110 healthy people (20 to 40 years old), except for 2 Taeyangin (TY type), were analyzed; 45 Taeeumin (TE type), 32 Soyangin (SY type), and 31 Soeumin (SE type). A Sasang constitutional medicine specialist diagnosed the Sasang constitution after analyzing the result of a Two Step Questionnaire for Sasang Constitution Diagnosis (TS-QSCD), the external appearance, temperament and symptoms. The dimensions of TCI and EPQ were compared among the different Sasang constitutions, using an analysis of variance, and correlations between TCI and EPQ were analyzed by a Pearson correlation method. Results : Among the four temperament dimensions of TCI, SY type showed a significantly higher score than the SE type in Novelty Seeking. SE type showed significantly higher score than TE and SY type in Harm Avoidance. SY type showed significantly higher score than SE type in Reward Dependence. TE and SY type showed significantly higher score than SE type in Persistence. There were no significant differences in the character dimensions of Self-directness, Cooperativeness and Self-Transcendence. Among the seven dimensions of EPQ, TE and SY type showed significantly higher score than SE type in Extraversion. SE type showed significantly higher score than SY type in Lie. SY type showed significantly higher score than TE and SE type in Impulsiveness. Conclusions : The results demonstrated that there are some significant differences of personality traits among Sasang constitutions. This could help diagnose and understand each Sasang constitution.
