  • Password based authentication technology is yet certain and id to provide a level of security being used in most systems, but already a myriad of personal information exposure to the accident. Above all, and once exposed, it is difficult to recover the password. Thus, the various authentication techniques - factor two was introduced, but they are expensive and discomfort to users, to lead. In this paper, the existing unique to users in such a single accreditation process / password id key - stroke, user authentication and cost effectively and at the same time. And not cause discomfort, suggested technologies that can also ensure high security exposure, password id. This paper's proposals and determine the effectiveness of the system to build model.

  • Dypepsia is the most common gastrointestinal disease and mainly occurs by stress or food. According to the cause of dyspepsia, the clinical characteristics and the curative process are different in patients. The purpose of this study is to compare acute dyspepsia patients depending on food factor and stress factor. For this study, we analyzed the cause, and the symptoms of 59 acute dyspepsia patients and divided them into two groups: one group is 27 acute dyspepsia patient group caused by stress factor (stress factor group). The other group is 32 acute dyspepsia patient group caused by food factor (food factor group). In addition, we carried out HRV test and compared HRV index between two groups. There was no significant difference in past illness involved in gastrointestinal tract diseases between two groups. There were big differences in the frequency of chest discomfort, thurst, lack of appetite, and exhaustion after meals between two groups. There were many changes of tongue fur in food factor group. But there were many changes of tongue body in stress factor group. The pulse pattern is mostly wiry in stress factor group. But, The pulse pattern is mostly slippery in food factor group. HF, TP were significantly lower than food factor group in stress factor group, it means autonomic nerve system was more suppressd in stress factor group than food factor group. Food factor group improved sooner than stress factor group. This study presented the clinically different characteristics (past medical history, symptoms, tongue diagnosis, pulse pattern, curative process) of acute dyspepsia depending on food factor and stress factor. Thus, it provides the necessity of oriental medical diagnosis and treatment called pattern identification for acute dyspepsia.

  • We study an optimization problem for hyperbolic absolute risk aversion (HARA) utility function under two-factor Heston's stochastic volatility model. It is not possible to obtain an explicit solution because our financial market model is complicated. However, by using asymptotic analysis technique, we find the explicit forms of the approximations of the optimal value function and the optimal strategy for HARA utility function.

  • Two-stage Power-Factor-Correction (PFC) converters are the most common circuits for drawing sinusoidal and in phase current waveforms from an ac source with a good regulated output voltage. The first stage is a boost PFC converter with average-current-mode control for achieving the near-unity power factor and the second stage is a forward converter with voltage-mode control to regulate the output voltage. Stability analysis and design methods of two-stage PFC converters have previously been discussed using linear models. Recently, new nonlinear phenomena have been detected in pre-regulator boost PFC circuits and a new nonlinear model has been proposed for pre-regulated PFC converters. Therefore, investigation of two-stage PFC converters from the nonlinear viewpoint becomes important because the second stage DC/DC converter adds more complexity to the circuit. So, this paper introduces a study of the stability of two-stage PFC converters. A novel nonlinear model of two-stage PFC converters is proposed. Then, a stability analysis is made based upon this nonlinear model. The high correspondence between the simulated and experimental results confirms our analysis.

  • Capillary tubes are widely used as expansion device in small refrigeration systems. The refrigerant flowing in the capillary tube experiences frictional and accelerational head losses and flashing simultaneously. In this paper flow characteristics of adiabatic capillary tubes were simulated with various friction factor models, two-phase viscosity models, and two-phase frictional multiplier models. The predicted pressure distribution and mass flow rate are compared with experimental data reported in literature. It is confirmed that the predicting accuracy with homogeneous model can be improved by employing suitable correlations of friction factor, two-phase viscosity and two-phase frictional multiplier.

  • A novel AC to DC PWM converters with unity input power factor are proposed to overcome the above shortcoming. The main function of these converters is to shape the input line current to force it exactly in phase with the input AC voltage. Therefore, the input power factor can be improved to near unity and the input current harmonics can be eliminated. In this paper, half-bridge converter with two active switches and two diodes are utilized for low-cost type UPS configuration. By having only two semiconductors in the current path at any time, losses can be reduced over the conventional boost topology. Also, this converter provides controllable dc-link voltage, high power factor, and low cost type converter by simple power circuits. Simulation results show that the proposed half-bridge converter/inverter control technique can be applied to single-phase low-cost type UPS systems successfully.

  • Stress intensity factor is one of the most important parameters in fracture mechanics. Both the stress field distribution and the crack propagation are closely related to these parameters. Due to the complexity of actual engineering problems, it is difficult to calculate the stress intensity factor by theoretical formulation, so photoelasticity method is a good choice. In this paper, modified two parameter method is employed to calculate stress intensity factor for opening mode by using data from more than one photoelastic fringe loop. For getting accurate experiment results, the initial fringes are doubled and sharpened by digital image programs from the fringe patterns obtained by a CCD camera. Photoelastic results are compared with those obtained by the use of empirical equation and FEM. Good agreement shows that the methods utilized in experiments are considerably reliable. The photoelastic experiment can be used for bench mark in theoretical study and other experiments.

  • When X and Y have independent Poisson distributions, we develop a Bayesian one-sided testing procedures for the ratio of two Poisson means. We propose the objective Bayesian one-sided testing procedures for the ratio of two Poisson means based on the fractional Bayes factor and the intrinsic Bayes factor. Some real examples are provided.
