역해석에 의한 열전도율 및 확산율 예측 (Estimation of Thermal Conductivity and Diffusivity by an Inverse Analysis)

  • 본 논문에서는 미지의 두 열물성 값인 열전도율과 열확산율을 구하기 위하여 Levenberg-Marquardt 방법에 의한 역해석 기법을 도입하였다. 일차원 열전도 문제에 대하여 연산식을 유도하였으며, 시편에 대하여 두 지점의 온도 및 입력유동의 열유속 측정값을 적용하였다. 예측된 열전도율 및 열확산율은 알려진 그라파이트 시편에 대한 열물성 값과 비교하였으며 그 결과 본 논문에서 제시된 역해석 예측 기법 실험의 유효성이 파악되었다.

  • An inverse radiation analysis is presented for the estimation of the radiation properties for an absorbing, emitting, and scattering media with diffusely emitting and reflecting opaque boundaries. In this study, a repulsive particle swarm optimization(RPSO) algorithm which is a relatively recent heuristic search method is proposed as an effective method for improving the search efficiency for unknown parameters. To verify the performance of the proposed RPSO algorithm, it is compared with a basic particle swarm optimization(PSO) algorithm and a hybrid genetic algorithm(HGA) for the inverse radiation problem with estimating the various radiation properties in a two-dimensional irregular medium when the measured temperatures are given at only four data positions. A finite-volume method is applied to solve the radiative transfer equation of a direct problem to obtain measured temperatures.

  • A dependable boundary reconstruction technique is proposed. The finite element method is used for the analysis of the direct heat conduction problem to realize the deformable grid system. An appropriate strategy for grid update is suggested. A complete sensitivity analysis is performed to obtain the derivatives required for restoration of the optimal boundary. With the result of the sensitivity analysis, the unknown boundary is sought using the sequential quadratic programming. The method is applied to reconstruction of boundaries with sinusoidal, step, and cavity form. The overall performance of the proposed method is examined by comparison between the estimated the exact boundaries.

  • An inverse problem is solved to determine the space-dependent thermal conductivity in one-dimensinoal time-dependent heat conduction medium with the data imposed and measured at the two end-points. The thermal conductivity is approximated as a linear combination of known functions with unknown coefficients and the unknowns are obtained by the governing and sensitivity equations using modified Newton-Raphson method. The estimated results are compared with exact thermal conductivities and it shows good agreements. This approach is expected to be used to estimate spatial composition of heat conduction medium.

  • 원하는 주파수 응답을 갖는 불균일 전송선로(NTL)는 일차원 역산란 문제에서 결합모드 Zakharov-Shabat(ZS) 방정식으로부터 포텐셜을 합성함으로서 구현할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 ZS 방정식을 사용하여 제한된 포텐셜범위를 갖도록 하는 임의 반사계수를 갖는 NTL을 효율적으로 합성하는 방법을 제안한다. 이 방법은 특정한 윈도우 함수를 사용한 반사계수를 목표치로 한 경우보다 합성된 선로의 길이가 짧아지는 장점을 가진다. 또한 ZS 역변환시 연쇄법을 사용함으로서 기존의 반복법에 의한 계산과정을 간소화시켰다. 분산특성을 갖는 NTL 필터 설계에 제안한 방법을 적용함으로서 특정한 윈도우를 목표치로 한 기존의 방법과 비교, 분석하였으며, chain 행렬을 사용한 2-포트 해석을 통해 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • An important signal processing problem in PVDF sensor is the restoration of surface information from electric sensing signals. The objectives of this research are to design a new texture sensing system and to develop a new signal processing algorithm for signals from the sensor to be tangibly displayed by tangible interface systems. The texture sensing system is designed to get surface information with high resolution and dynamic range. First, a PVDF sensor is made of piezoelectric polymer (polyvinylidene fluoride) strips molded in a silicon rubber and attached in a rigid cylinder body. The sensor is mounted to a scanning system for dynamic sensing. Secondly, a new signal processing algorithm is developed to restore surface information. The algorithm consists of the two-dimensional modeling of the sensor using an identification method and inverse filtering from sensing signals into estimated surface information. Finally the two-dimensional surface information can be experimentally reconstructed from sensing signals using the developed signal processing algorithm.

  • Physical importance of cutting temperatures has long been recognized. Cutting temperatures have strongly influenced both the tool life and the metallurgical state of machined surfaces. Temperatures in drilling processes are particularly important, because chips remain in contact with the tool for a relatively long time in a hole. Tool temperatures tend to be higher in drilling processes than in other in machining processes. This paper concerns with modeling of thermal behaviors in drilling processes as well as estimation of the cutting temperature distribution based on remote temperature measurements. One- and two-dimensional estimation problems are proposed to analyze drilling temperatures. The proposed thermal models are compared with solutions of finite element methods. Observer algorithms are developed to solve inverse heat conduction problems. In order to apply the estimation of cutting temperatures, approximation methods are proposed by using the solution of the finite element method. In two-dimensional analysis, a moving heat source according to feedrate of the drilling process is regarded as a fixed heat source with respect to the drilling location. Simulation results confirm the application of the proposed methods.

비정체형 2차원 다공성 매질의 대수투수계수-수두 교차공분산에 관한 연구 (A Study on Logconductivity-Head Cross Covariance in Two-Dimensional Nonstationary Porous Formations)

  • 본 논문에서는 다공성 매질의 특수율이 비정체형인 경우 대수투수계수-수두 교차공분산에 관한 식을 유도하였으며, 이 교차공분산은 수두분포로부터 특수장의 통계학적 특성을 유추하는데(inverse problem) 매우 중요한 역할을 담당한다. 비정체형 대수투수계수는 일정한 선형경향과 정체형인 미소 변동의 합으로 구성되었으며, 2차원 포화대수층에서 정상 유동문제를 추계학적으로 해석하여 수두분포를 얻었고 이로부터 교차공분산을 유도하였다. 투수계수의 상관함수가 가우스분포를 가지고 그 경향이 수두 경사와 평행이거나 직교하는 두 가지 경우에 대하여 교차공분산을 살펴 본 결과, 투수장의 경향이 주 흐름방향과 평행한 경우 흐름방향 쪽만 제외하고는 정체형임이 밝혀졌다. 또한, 흐름방향과 직교하는 쪽으로의 교차공분산은 정체형 모델 결과와 달리 영이 아님를 알 수 있었다. 따라서 지하수 유동이나 오염물질 확산문제를 다룰 경우, 투수계수장에 어떤 경향이 존재한다고 의심될 때에는 반드시 그 경향을 해석과정에 포함시켜야 한다.

역진자형 자주로보트의 2차원 평면에서 궤도주행제어에 관한 연구 (Trajectory Tracking Control of the Wheeled Inverse Pendulum Type Self - Contained Mobile Robot in Two Dimensional Plane)

  • In this paper, we discuss on the control algorithm to make the wheeled inverse pendulum type mobile robot move in two dimensional plane. The robot considered in this paper has two independently driven wheels in same axel which suport and move it-self, and is assumed to have the fyro type sensor to know the inclination algle of the body and rotary encoders to know wheel's rotation angular velocity. The control algorithm is divided into three parts. The first part is for the posture and velocity control for forward-backward direction, the second is the steering control, and the last part is for the control of total system to track the given trajectory. We handle the running velocity control of the robot as part of the posture control to keep the balance because the posture relates deeply with the velocity and can be controlled by the velocities of the wheels. The control problem is analyzed as the tracking control, and the controller is realized with the state feedback and feed-forward of the reference velocity. Constructing the control system which contained one intergrator in forward path, we also realized the control system without observer for the estimation of the accumulated errors in the inclination angle of the body. To prevent the robot from being unstable state by sudden variation of the reference velocity when it starts and stops, or changes velocity, the reference velocity of which acceleration is slowly changing, is ordered to the robot. To control its steering, we give the different reference velocities for both wheels which are calculated from the desired angular velocity of the body. Finally, we presents the experimental results of the experimental robot Yamabico Kurara in which the proposed control algorithm had been implemented.
