정량적 위험성평가를 위한 배출 오염물질 분포 예측 (Prediction of Pollutant Emission Distribution for Quantitative Risk Assessment)

  • The prediction of various emissions from coal combustion is an important subject of researchers and engineers because of environmental consideration. Therefore, the development of the models for predicting pollutants very fast has received much attention from international research community, especially in the field of safety assessment. In this work, response surface method was introduced as a design of experiment, and the database for RSM was set with the numerical simulation of a drop tube furnace (DTF) to predict the spatial distribution of pollutant concentrations as well as final ones. The distribution of carbon dioxide in DTF was assumed to have Boltzman function, and the resulted function with parameters of a high $R^2$ value facilitates predicting an accurate distribution of $CO_2$. However, CO distribution had a difference near peak concentration when Gaussian function was introduced to simulate the CO distribution. It might be mainly due to the anti-symmetry of the CO concentration in DTF, and hence Extreme function was used to permit the asymmetry. The application of Extreme function enhanced the regression accuracy of parameters and the prediction was in a fairly good agreement with the new experiments. These results promise the wide use of statistical models for the quantitative safety assessment.

  • Silver-sheathed Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-O wires by the powder-in-tube method were preparated to study on the superconducting properties with cooling conditions. Superconducting wires were cooled down in the furnace, air and liquid $N_2$ after sintering at $840^{\circ}C$. Critical current density of sample cooled in the furnace is $5.1{\times}10^3\;A/cm^2$ at 77K, zero magnetic field and Jc of sample cooled in the air is very low. 2223 high-Tc superconducting phase of sample cooled in the air was distroyed. Therefore, we knew that superconducting wire need to cool slowly to get the high critical current density.

질산염 전구체 원료로 분무 열분해 방법에 의한 YBCO 박막 증착 (Deposition of YBCO Thin Film by Aerosol Assisted Spray Pyrolysis Method using Nitrate Precursors)

  • Y123 films have been deposited on $LaAlO_3$ (100) single-crystal and IBAD substrates by spray pyrolysis method using nitrate precursors. Ultrasonic atomization was adopted to decrease the droplet size, spraying angle and its moving velocity toward substrate for introducing the preheating tube furnace in appropriate location. A small preheating tube furnace was installed between spraying nozzle and substrate for fast drying and enhanced decomposition of precursors. C-axis oriented films were obtained on both LAO and IBAD substrates at deposition temperature of around $710{\sim}750^{\circ}C$ and working pressures of 10~15 torr. Thick c-axis epitaxial film with the thickness of $0.3{\sim}0.6\;{\mu}m$ was obtained on LAO single-crystal by 10 min deposition. But the XRD results of the film deposited on IBAD template at same deposition condition showed that the buffer layers of the IBAD metal substrate was affected by long residence of metal substrate at high temperature for YBCO deposition.

  • 공기 가열 장치는 크게 연소식과 열교환식 2가지가 있으며, 본 논문은 공기를 오염시키지 않은 열교환 방식인 청정 공기 가열 장치의 설계 방법을 기술하였다. 가열 장치는 크게 연소기 (Burner), 가열로 (Furnace), 열교환기 (Heat Exchanger), 배기구로 구성되어 되며, 가열되는 공기 유량과 입/출구 온도값으로부터 가열원인 연소기의 열용량과 연소기 연료인 LNG의 소요량을 구한다. 열교환기 내부에서 연소기의 뜨거운 연소가스와 가열되는 차가운 공기간의 열매체를 통한 간접 열교환이 이루어지므로, 가열되는 공기의 입/출구 온도에서 열교환기의 용량, 크기, 작동 최대 온도를 얻을 수 있게 된다.

S-L-S 성장기구를 이용한 양질의 골드 나노선 합성 (Synthesis of Au Nanowires Using S-L-S Mechanism)

  • Single crystalline Au nanowires were successfully synthesized in a tube-type furnace. The Au nanowires were grown by vapor phase synthesis technique using solid-liquid-solid (SLS) mechanism on substrates of corning glass and Si wafer. Prior to Au nanowire synthesis, Au thin film served as both catalyst and source for Au nanowire was prepared by sputtering process. Average length of the grown Au nanowires was approximately 1 ${\mu}m$ on both the corning glass and Si wafer substrates, while the diameter and the density of which were dependent on the thickness of the Au thin film. To induce a super-saturated states for the Au particle catalyst and Au molecules during the Au nanowire synthesis, thickness of the Au catalyst thin film was fixed to 10 nm or 20 nm. Additionally, synthesis of the Au nanowires was carried out without introducing carrier gas in the tube furnace, and synthesis temperature was varied to investigate the temperature effect on the resulting Au nanowire characteristics.

X20CrMoV12.1강의 열화에 따른 기계적특성 평가 (The Evaluation of Mechanical Property of X20CrMoV12.1 Boiler Tube Steels)

  • Boiler is one of the most important utilities providing steam to turbine in order to supply mechanical energy in thermal power plant. It is composed of thousands of tubes for high efficient heat transfer. The material for boiler tubes is used in such high temperature and pressure condition as $540^{\circ}C$, 22MPa. The boiler tube material is required to resist creep damage, fatigue cracking, and corrosion damages. 2.25%Cr-1Mo steel is used for conventional boiler tubes, and austenitenite stainless steel is used for higher temperature boiler tubes. But the temperature and pressure of steam in power plant became higher for high plant efficiency. So, the property of boiler tube material must be upgaded to fit the plant property. Several boiler tube material was developed to fit such conditions. X20CrMoV12.1 steel is also developed in 1980's and used for superheater and reheater tubes in supercritical boilers. The material has martensite microstructures which is difficult to evaluate the degradation. In this thesis, degrade the X20CrMoV12.1 steel at high temperatures in electric furnace, and evaluate hardness with Vickers hardness tester and strengths with Indentation tester.

  • 순산소연소 조건하의 로내 탈황공정에서 황화반응 생성물인 $CaSO_4$의 재분해가 탈황반응에 미치는 영향이 크다. 본 연구에서는 DTF (Drop Tube Furnace)를 이용하여 반응온도, $CO_2$, $O_2$, $SO_2$, 농도 등을 포함한 다양한 실험 변수들이 $CaSO_4$ 탈황반응에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위하여 분해반응의 전환율을 측정하고 반응속도를 계산하였다. 반응온도가 상승함에 따라 $CaSO_4$ 분해반응의 전환율과 반응속도가 증가하였고 $O_2$가 존재하는 조건에서 $CO_2$ 농도의 영향은 크지 않았다. 동일한 조건에서 $CaSO_4$ 분해속도는 $O_2$ 농도가 감소함에 따라 증가하였으나 $SO_2$ 농도가 증가함에 따라 감소되었다.

평행관 모델링을 통한 보일러 화로벽관 내 밀도파 불안정의 해석 (Analysis of Density Wave Oscillation in Boiler Furnace Wall Tubes with Parallel Channel Modeling)

  • 화력발전용 관류보일러 화로벽관에서의 밀도파 불안정 예측을 목적으로 수치모델을 개발하였다. 시간 도메인에서 1 차원 유한체적법을 적용하여 관내 비정상상태의 유동장을 계산하였으며, 화로벽관의 평행관 연결을 모사하기 위해 헤더의 모델도 포함하였다. 평행관들 가운데 하나의 관에 열 섭동을 부가 후 관 입출구 유량의 변동을 관찰함으로써 밀도파 불안정을 찾았다. 개발된 모델은 문헌의 실험결과와 검증을 거쳐 700MW 보일러 화로벽관에 적용하였다. 그 결과 Takitani 의 실험결과에서는 평행으로 연결된 우회 유량이 줄어들수록 불안정 경계 열량이 상승하는 경향이 있었던 반면, 보일러 화로벽관의 경우에는 평행관 모델링에 크게 영향을 받지 않음을 확인하였다.

  • 대형 석탄 화력발전소의 보일러는 안정적인 전력량 수급을 위하여, 계속적인 운전 혹은 기동 정지가 반복하면서 운전 되는 등 매우 열악한 상태에서 운전되고 있기 때문에 신뢰성을 유지하기 위한 주기적 점검과 정비는 필수적이다. 정비를 위한 기존의 비계시스템은 모든 하중이 하부로 집중되어 일부 부재에 문제 발생시 연쇄적으로 비계 시스템이 붕괴되는 문제점이 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 새로운 노내비계를 개발하여 상부에서 하중을 분산시키고, 일부 부재에 문제가 발생하더라도 연쇄 붕괴의 위험을 최소화하였다. 또한, 보일러 튜브의 구조로 인하여 직접적인 설치가 어려운 경우 노내비계의 설치를 위한 인양시스템을 개발하여 노내비계의 구조적인 안정성을 향상시키고 비계 작업자의 안전성을 확보하여 발전설비의 건전성을 확보할 수 있었다.

분리형 히트파이프의 저발열량 연료가스 예열시스템에 대한 적용연구 (Application of a Large Scale Heat Pipe System to Preheating the Fuel Gas of Low Heating Value)

  • A separate heat pipe system capacity of 3,700kW has been developed and applied to preheating the blast furnace gas for recovery of the waste heat from boiler. The system is designed to preheat the blast furnace gas up to $126^{\circ}C$ by using tho boiler exhaust gas of which temperature is $180^{\circ}C{\sim}220^{\circ}C$. The arrangement of the fin tubes as well as the shape of the fin has been carefully determined to minimize the fouling problems. The heat pipe system was found to be stable in circulation of the working fluid and the range of the temperature variation of the preheated blast furnace gas was within $10^{\circ}C$. It was proved through a long-term test that the selected tube arrangement and the shape of the fins are proper to prevent the fouling problems and that the pay-back period of the system Is within one year.
