미세기포 생성을 위한 벤츄리 시스템 개발 (Development of Venturi System for Microbubble Generation)

  • 본 연구는 벤츄리 시스템을 미세기포 생성을 위한 공기공급 장치로 개발하는데 그 목표를 두고 수행하였다. 이를 위해 상용유동해석 프로그램인 ANSYS CFX-15를 사용한 전산 유동해석을 통해 기하학적 형상변화가 벤츄리 관 내 유동특성들에 미치는 영향을 규명하였다 그리고 공급공기를 공급하는 공기 공급관의 위치, 크기, 개수 등을 변수로 2-유체 유동 해석을 수행하여 이들 설계 값들이 공기 공급 특성에 미치는 효과를 규명하였다. 최종적으로 직경 비 ${\beta}=0.75$의 벤츄리 확대관이 시작되는 위치에 공기 공급 구멍을 설치할 경우 가장 많은 공기가 벤츄리 관으로 유입되는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 유입공기 공급구멍 개수 및 직경과 벤츄리 관 내 공급되는 공기량 사이에는 선형적인 관계가 성립됨을 확인하였다.

R-600a 및 R-134a를 공용으로 사용한 소형 냉동사이클의 성능 특성 최적화에 대한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Optimization of the Performance Characteristics of a Refrigeration System Using R-600a and R-134a)

  • Because both R-134a and R-600a are used as a refrigerant of a household refrigerator in the global market, the home-appliance industry needs an optimized cycle for both refrigerants. The objective of this study is to provide the design guideline on the optimization of a refrigeration system using both refrigerants. For both refrigerants, the performance characteristics of the refrigeration system were tested by varying refrigerant charge amount, capillary tube length, suction diameter and SLHX length. The tested refrigeration system was optimized at the refrigerant charge of 60 g and the capillary tube length of 3600 mm with R-134a, and the refrigerant charge of 34 g and the capillary tube length of 3900 mm with R-600a. The COP increased from 1.63 to 1.68 for R-134a and increased from 1.37 to 1.48 for R-600a, respectively, by applying the suction diameter expansion. In addition, the COP of the R-134a and R-600a system decreased by 2.3~2.4% as the SLHX length decreased by 300 mm.

전자기 용접의 충돌 속도에 대한 코일 형상의 영향 (Effect of a Coil Shape on an Impulse Velocity of the Electromagnetic Welding)

  • Electromagnetic impulse welding (EMIW) is a type of solid state welding using the Lorentz force generated by interaction between the magnetic field of the coil and the current induced in the workpiece. Although many experimental studies have been investigated on the expansion and compression welding of tube using the EMIW process, studies on the EMIW process of lap joint between flat sheets are uncommon. Since the magnetic field enveloped inside the tube can be controlled with ease, the electromagnetic technique has been widely used for tube welding. Conversely, it is difficult to control the magnetic field in the flat sheet welding so as to obtain the required welding velocity. The current study analyzed the effects of coil shape on the impulse velocity for suitable flat one-turn coil for the EMIW of the flat sheets. The finite element (FE) multi-physics simulation involving magnetic and structural field of EMIW were conducted with the commercial software LS-DYNA to evaluate the several shape variables, viz., influence of various widths, thicknesses, gaps and standoff distances of the flat one-turn coil on the impulse velocity. To obtain maximum impulse velocity, the flat one-turn coil was designed based on the FE simulation results. The experiments were performed using an aluminum alloy 1050 sheets of 1.0mm thickness using the designed flat one-turn coil. Through the microscopic interfacial analysis of the welded specimens, the interfacial connectivity was observed to have no defects. In addition, the single lap joint tests were performed to evaluate the welding strength, and a fracture occurred in the base material. As a result, a flat one-turn coil was successfully designed to guarantee welding with bond strength equal to or greater than the base material strength.

패션 뷰티 콘텐츠의 동영상 플랫폼 활용 특성에 대한 연구 - 유튜브를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Characteristics of Video Platforms Usage of Beauty Content with YouTube at the Center)

  • 다양한 주제와 형식을 활용한 유튜브 뷰티 콘텐츠 채널이 양적, 질적 확장을 진행 중이다. 이에 따라, 본 연구에서는 Statista를 통해 국내 및 해외 주요 뷰티 브랜드 및 패션지와 뷰티 인플루언서들을 대표하는 상위 5위의 채널을 선정하여 이들을 중심으로 사례 조사를 진행하였다. 이를 통해, 패션 뷰티 콘텐츠 생산자에 따른 동영상 플랫폼 활용 특성과 콘텐츠 성격 비교 및 매력적인 콘텐츠가 어떤 유형과 특성으로 구성되어 있는지를 밝힘으로써 증가하는 뷰티 관련 콘텐츠를 위한 전략으로 연결시키고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 영상 중심의 유튜브 플랫폼의 성장은 제품 정보의 원천을 다양화시킴으로서 기존 광고의 수동적 소비자들을 생산자 혹은 새로운 전달자의 역할로 변화시킴을 알 수 있었다. 또한 생산자에 따라 다른 성격의 콘텐츠가 소비됨에 따라 객관적인 저널리즘적인 시선보다는 생산자 중심의 콘텐츠가 제작되어짐을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 향후 차별화되는 뷰티 콘텐츠를 위해서는 밀레니얼 세대에 효과적인 다양한 엔터테인먼트 요소와 더불어 소비자와 브랜드와의 관계 및 연결을 강화시킬 수 있는 '브랜드 가치'의 전달이 필수적임을 알 수 있었다.

버추얼 아이돌에 대한 유튜브 시청자 특성과 반응 분석 (Analysis of YouTube Viewers' Characteristics and Responses to Virtual Idols)

  • Due to the advancement of virtual reality technology, virtual idols are widely used in industrial and cultural content industries. However, it is difficult to utilize virtual idols' social perceptions because they are not properly understood. Therefore, this paper collected and analyzed YouTube comments to identify differences about social perception through comparative analysis between virtual idols and general idols. The dataset was constructed by crawling comments from music videos with more than 10 million views of virtual idols and more than 10,000 comments. Keyword frequency and TF-IDF values were derived from the collected dataset, and the connection centrality CONCOR cluster was analyzed with a semantic network using the UCINET program. As a result of the analysis, it was found that virtual idols frequently used keywords such as "person," "quality," "character," "reality," "animation," while reactions and perceptions were derived from general idols. Based on the results of this analysis, it was found that while general idols are mainly evaluated with their appearance and cultural factors, social perceptions of virtual idols' values are mixed with evaluations of cultural factors such as "song," "voice," and "choreography," focusing on technical factors such as "people," "quality," "character," and "animation." However, keywords such as "song," "voice," "choreography," and "music" are included in the top 30 like regular idols and appear in the same cluster, suggesting that virtual idols are gradually shifting away from minority tastes to mainstream culture. This study aims to provide academic and practical implications for the future expansion of the industry and cultural content industry of virtual idols by grasping the social perception of virtual idols.

Development of RF Ion Source for Neutral Beam Injector in Fusion Devices

  • Large-area RF-driven ion source is being developed at Germany for the heating and current drive of ITER plasmas. Negative hydrogen (deuterium) ion sources are major components of neutral beam injection systems in future large-scale fusion experiments such as ITER and DEMO. RF ion sources for the production of positive hydrogen ions have been successfully developed at IPP (Max-Planck- Institute for Plasma Physics, Garching) for ASDEX-U and W7-AS neutral beam injection (NBI) systems. In recent, the first NBI system (NBI-1) has been developed successfully for the KSTAR. The first and second long-pulse ion sources (LPIS-1 and LPIS-2) of NBI-1 system consist of a magnetic bucket plasma generator with multi-pole cusp fields, filament heating structure, and a set of tetrode accelerators with circular apertures. There is a development plan of large-area RF ion source at KAERI to extract the positive ions, which can be used for the second NBI (NBI-2) system of KSTAR, and to extract the negative ions for future fusion devices such as ITER and K-DEMO. The large-area RF ion source consists of a driver region, including a helical antenna (6-turn copper tube with an outer diameter of 6 mm) and a discharge chamber (ceramic and/or quartz tubes with an inner diameter of 200 mm, a height of 150 mm, and a thickness of 8 mm), and an expansion region (magnetic bucket of prototype LPIS in the KAERI). RF power can be transferred up to 10 kW with a fixed frequency of 2 MHz through a matching circuit (auto- and manual-matching apparatus). Argon gas is commonly injected to the initial ignition of RF plasma discharge, and then hydrogen gas instead of argon gas is finally injected for the RF plasma sustainment. The uniformities of plasma density and electron temperature at the lowest area of expansion region (a distance of 300 mm from the driver region) are measured by using two electrostatic probes in the directions of short- and long-dimension of expansion region.

해양플랜트 HVAC 시스템용 플레이트·쉘 타입 증발기에 관한 연구 (A Study on Plate & Shell type Evaporator in HVAC System for Offshore Plant)

  • 해양플랜트용 HVAC(Heating Ventilation and Air-Conditioning) 시스템의 컨덴싱 유닛(condensing unit)의 경우, DX(Direct Expansion) 코일보다는 온도 안정성이 뛰어난 칠러 시스템(chiller system)을 주로 사용하고 있다. 칠러시스템의 구성품 중 대형 냉매압축기와 전자식 팽창밸브 등은 대부분 수입되고 있다. 이에 칠러 시스템의 크기는 국내에서 제작되는 열교환기(증발기, 응축기)에 의해 좌우된다. 현재 갈수록 심화되고 있는 사용공간의 제한으로 인해 선주사 및 조선소에서는 장비 크기를 컴팩트하게 해줄 것을 메이커에 지속적으로 요구하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 해양플랜트에서 만액식(flooded) 칠러 시스템의 증발기로 주로 사용되고 있는 쉘-튜브형 열교환기를 컴팩트한 플레이트-쉘 열교환기로 대체하기 위한 주요개발과정을 소개하고, 이와 함께 개발된 플레이트-쉘 열교환기를 실제 증발기로 적용한 만액식 칠러 시스템을 제작하여 그 성능을 실험적으로 평가하였으며 그 결과를 제공하고자 한다.

상변화 물질을 사용한 축열조에서의 열전달 -수직원관내에서의 내향용융실험 및 수치해석- (Heat Transfer in Heat Storage System with P.C.M. -Experimental and Numerical Investigation during Inward Melting in a Vertical Tube-)

  • 온도가 일정한 외벽을 열원으로 하는 수직원통형 축열조 내에 채워진 상변화물질의 내향용융 과정에서 자연대류에 의한 열전달현상을 유한차분법을 이용하여 수치해석하였고, 그 결과를 실험을 통하여 검증하였다. 상변화물질로는 용융점온포가 $42.5%^{\circ}C$ n-docosane paraffin($C_{22}H_{46}$)을 사용하였다. 본 연구 결과에서 상변화물질의 용융속도는 액상영역의 자연대류로 인하여 축열조 상부로 갈수록 빠른 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 상변화물질의 초기온도는 액상영역 속도분포에 큰 영향을 주지 않으며, 상변화물질의 초기온도가 낮을수록 용융속도는 늦어지고 축열조의 형상비($H/r_w$)가 커질수록 자연대류는 활발해지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 수치해석의 결과는 실험 결과와 잘 일치하였으나, 수치해석시 상변화물질의 용융에 따르는 체적팽창을 고려하지 않았기 때문에 용융이 진행 됨에 따라 오차가 발생하였다.

Extended Graetz Problem Including Axial Conduction and Viscous Dissipation in Microtube

  • Extended Graetz problem in microtube is analyzed by using eigenfunction expansion to solve the energy equation. For the eigenvalue problem we applied the shooting method and Galerkin method. The hydrodynamically isothermal developed flow is assumed to enter the microtube with uniform temperature or uniform heat flux boundary condition. The effects of velocity and temperature jump boundary condition on the microtube wall, axial conduction and viscous dissipation are included. From the temperature field obtained, the local Nusselt number distributions on the tube wall are obtained as the dimensionless parameters (Peclet number, Knudsen number, Brinkman number) vary. The fully developed Nusselt number for each boundary condition is obtained also in terms of these parameters.

  • We numerically investigated propagation of various waves in the two-phase flows such as sound wave, shock wave, rarefaction wave, and contact discontinuity in terms of pressure, void fraction, velocity and density of the two phases. The waves have been generated by a hydrodynamic shock tube, a pair of symmetric impulsive expansion, impulsive pressure and impulsive void waves. The six compressible two-fluid two-phase conservation laws with interfacial friction terms have been solved in two fractional steps. The first PDE Operator is solved by the HLL scheme and the second Source Operator by the semi-implicit stiff ODE solver. In the HLL scheme, the fastest wave speeds were estimated by the analytic eigenvalues of an approximate Jacobian matrix. We have discussed how the interfacial friction terms affect the wave structures in the numerical solution.
