As a railway is receiving attention as an environment-friendly transportation mode, many high speed, inter-city and urban railway are constructed and remodeled in the world. With this trend, railway RAMS was included in the international standard IEC 62278 in 2002. RAMS activity in domestic market is also increased with this international trend. However, IEC 62278 does not describe the methodology of substantial contents like how reliability target is set although it can be used as an overall guideline when RAMS requirements are included in the purchase specification. That is because RAMS requirements should be set with the specific railway condition. It is required to fully understand the meaning of railway RAMS parameters and apply those correspond to the specific railway system and environment condition especially when a quantitative RAMS requirement is set. In this study, the meaning and characteristics of RAMS parameters applicable to the development of quantitative RAMS requirement of rolling stock is described. And the basic concept of RAMS and the definition of failure that IEC 62278 describes is modified and suggested in order to make more suitable to the development of quantitative RAMS requirement.

The academic library development plan has external importance as it explicitly declares the library's role and development direction. Internally, it is also a library service guideline. To develop the development plan, libraries must understand the trends and needs of international, national, and affiliating universities and their constituents. Accordingly, this research includes case, content, and network analyses of foreign academic libraries' development plans to identify the trends. The analysis results show most foreign academic libraries employed various strategies and plans, which can be characterized as 'collaboration,' 'collection development,' and 'research support.' Consequently, we propose the following factors to consider when developing an academic library development plan: specification of mission, vision, and core values; recognition of core values such as diversity, equity, and inclusion; awareness of the significance of collaboration and partnership with other units within the universities and external organizations; and utilization of university library development plans as tools for achieving management objectives.

As the scaling trend becomes accelerated in process technology for cost reduction in semiconductor chip manufacturing, the requirement for shrink technology has increased. Hot Carrier Injection (HCI) degradation for I/O transistors is most concerning part when shrink. To solve this, the effective channel length (Leff) was increased using liner oxide before Light Doped Drain (LDD) implants and optimized the tilt angle to increase Leff without E-field degradation in LDD region, satisfying the HCI specification.

Current series for testing stock market cointegrations tend to be restricted to analyzing the relations between stock market prices and may not be able to understand the whole picture of the variations in the stock market system. The nature of the variations in the stock prices, between the countries that experienced economic crisis and those did not, are different for a certain period of time, and accordingly excluding the potentially important variables in the stock market system causes statistical bias. This study considers domestic foreign exchange markets and financial markets in testing for the cointegrating relations of the stock prices in Korea and major investing countries. The results demonstrate the possibility of specification errors unless those markets are included in the statistical modeling process.

The purpose of this study was to suggest effective teaching method of fashion illustration based on the results of examing the use of fashion illustration required by fashion designers and the ways of teaching used by professors teaching fashion illustration. The methods of this research were based on questionnaires. Questionnaire I was responded by 73 fashion designers working for fashion industry. Questionnaire II was answered by 52 professors teaching fashion illustration in colleges and universities. The results were as follows 1. In the examination of fashion illustration used by fashion designers in fashion industry, the flat was found to be most frequently used for market research, design sketch, presentation and specification. The illustration of wearers' form for making trend maps. So the flat was found to be the method that is most used by fashion designers. As for the coloring materials, markers were most frequently used that are of easy use, and the texture was mostly expressed by attaching fabric swatches. Two or three body poses are used for each style of clothing. 2. The effective teaching methods of fashion illustration that fashion designers and professors teaching fashion illustration consider are first, to teach the flat more precisely, second, to increase use of markers as coloring material, third, to teach various types of model poses. And fourth, the texture needs to be a little bit less expressed by focusing only on the effects because fabric swatch is used.

Air pollutants nitrogen oxides are inevitably generated in the combustion reaction. Its amount trend is steadily increasing because the rapid modern industrialization and population growth. For this reason, NOx is controlled to reducing the harmful components in the exhaust gas. So Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC) take effect 'Tier I', 'Tier II' of air pollution regulation in 2005 and 2011 respectively. According to NOx emissions are strictly regulated management of the vessel through them. In addition, since 2016 the regulation enter into force in the next step 'Tier III' was confirmed by MEPC 66th committee. It's 80% enhanced emissions limits than the 'Tier I' Alternatively these emission regulation, research is actively being carried out about exhaust gas after-treatment methods through the vessel application of Selective Catalytic Reduction(SCR). Therefore depending on the basic specification of cell density according to the Area velocity, Space velocity, Linear velocity is studied the effects of NOx removal efficiency

Being increased the errention and competition for communication business, the economical efficiency and the reliance of communication network were raised. The communication operators are sensitively reactioned to the data related communication. Especially, the trend of hazards related to communication networks and users is broadly deviede into 3 classes in the technical specificatons of foreigners. In this paper, the field data of parameters corresponding to 3 classes was statistically processed and compared to the specified values in the technical specification. The ststistical processes of field data play a role as an objective information for the service quality related to the communication network, and will be helpful for preparing the globalization of communication.

The purpose of this is providing employees who take charge of operation and maintenance at power plant with education contents that can be used for self-studying and on the job training through their computers. We developed the education contents for making actually application possible using this piping and instrument diagram(P&ID), operation and maintenance procedure, unit specification and material of 500MW thermal power plant those include unit equipment 3-dimension animation, character and narration performance considering making teaching plan, flexibility, extension, reuse, maintenance and focusing on user. Specially, we developed the flash type education contents about power plant operation based on the plant 3-dimension animation and the spot real picture concerned about new generation trend for power plant incoming employees actual knowledge. in addition, this contents apparently contributed to improve the level of employees technical power as distributed to employees.

This study examines the current status on the supply of community facilities based on the supply criteria of present welfare facilities. Analyzing satisfaction of residents about community facilities based on physical supply criteria. The study sets up the concept and proposed trend of the related studies and distinction through the examination of previous researches. Next, the present systematical supply criteria, was used to make indication in order to propose the promotion of improvement on supply criteria for community facilities. Multi dimensional analyzing system and the satisfaction level of the community facility was used to analyze the relationship between the two. The direction of policy improvement according to the analysis is as per the following. First, it is necessary to improve supply criteria of household to guarantee the minimal amount of space. Second, specification of the minimum distance of community facility to residential area in the complex is needed. Also, the presentation of bottom boundary line of the formation area size to expand the size up to minimal level of size is needed. Third, resident exercise facility supply criteria among the community facility supply criteria need to be improved from the number of household base to the size for each household base. Forth, resident resting facility criteria among the community facility supply criteria should be changed from the present criteria of one facility per five hundred households.

A recent trend in automotive parts has been an integration of sub-assemblies with unified shapes. Tube structures also have been integrated to one body structure by using a near net shape forming instead of adopting welding. A cylindrical elastomer-forming process can be utilized to form a steel tube compressed in a radial direction. This process has some advantages compared to a hydro-forming or a swaging process in the viewpoint of a lower investment and a higher productivity. In order to predict a feasible specification of products within a work capability of the elastomer-forming equipment developed previously, effects of geometrical parameters of a tube on its shape accuracy are examined. Two characteristic parameters to account for the shape accuracy are chosen. One is the curvature radius at the corner part and the other is the straight ratio of the formed region. Careful examination of two parameters has led that the shape accuracy can be easily predicted by the regression equation obtained from the response surface method.
