Objectives : This paper aims to study how 'All articulations are controlled by the gallbladder' as urged by Heoim in Chimgugyeongheombang was reflected in the clinical field, and look into the reason for his assertion. Methods : The paper looked into Chimgugyeongheombang and 1) found examples of how acupoints related to gallbladder were used to treat articulation-related diseases, and 2) investigated the relation between gallbladder and articulations through analyzing the acupoints used for treating articulation-related diseases. These are then compared with Zhenjiuzishengjing to see if the assertions made in 'All articulations are controlled by the gallbladder' were actually applied in clinical fields. Results & Conclusions : Heoim dealt with 20 points out of the 44 acupoints for gallbladder, and used 14 of them for treatments of articulation-related diseases. Gallbladder acupoints were used for ten illnesses, and four of them were related to articulation. Chimgujasaenggyeong showed a difference in that it did not utilize gallbladder acupoints to treat these illnesses. Out of 33 articulation-related illnesses, gallbladder meridians and acupoints were suggested as a means to treat them in 15 cases, and this is an increase in the usage of these points compared to Chimgugyeongheombang. In other words, Heoim actively utilized gallbladder meridian points in treating articulation-related illnesses. The reason Heoim drew a line between gallbladder and articulations is because gallbladder is categorized as a lesser yang pivot and articulations itself functions as a pivot by acting as a pivot for human body movement.

Traditionlly Radix Ginseng has been known to Qi-tonic medicine. Practically Radix Ginseng is listed in Shinnongbonchokyeong as the medicine for replenishing the Primordial-Qi, tranquilizing the mind and improving mental power. However, when we consider the text of prescriptions that contained Radix Ginseng in Jangjoongkyeong's Sanghanlon, Radix Ginseng had not been conjugated to replenish the Primordial-Qi. On the other hand, Yoshimasu todo had been taken up the position that Radix Ginseng in Sanghanlon was conjugated to treat Shimhabikyeong. Accordingly, author studied about practical use of Radix Ginseng in Sanghanlon based on Yakjing and Yoochuibang that Yoshimasu todo's writing. The result of study are summurized as follows. Jangjoongkyeong conjugated ginseng to treat Shimhabikyeong in Sanghanlon. The prescription that Shimhabikyeong was not mentioned is thought as it was omitted from the text. Jangjoongkyeong conjugated the bitter taste ginseng to treat Shimhabikyeong. Shimhabikyeong is abdominal diagnosis that the patient feel a subjectively blocked sensation and below the Kumi becomes hard as solid.

이 연구는 게임중독 예방 및 치료를 위한 교사 연수 프로그램의 개발을 목적으로 한다. 우선 기존 연구와 게임 중독 관련 연수프로그램의 실태 그리고 게임 중독 예방 및 중독 치료교육 프로그램을 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 게임중독 치료 연수를 정상학생을 위한 예방프로그램, 잠재적위험군 학생을 위한 치료프로그램I, 고위험군 학생을 위한 치료프로그램II로 구분하여 프로그램을 설계하였다. 예방프로그램은 기존의 연구와 연수프로그램에서 공통 내용을 추출하여 설계하였다. 치료프로그램은 게임중독 클리닉 자료와 선행연구 자료를 분석하여 다양한 내용과 전략을 추출하였다. 최종 전문가와의 협의를 통해 프로그램의 세부 내용을 설계하였다. 개발된 교사 연수 프로그램을 해당교사와 전문가를 통하여 타당도 검사를 한 결과 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이 연수 프로그램이 현장학교와 게임 중독 아동의 치료에 많은 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.

Neuropathic pain originating from multiple condition of nerve cell injury is common, but is difficult to treat. Even though many drugs such as anti-convulsants, anti-depressants, NSAIDs, opioids have been used, their clinical analgesic action were not satisfactory due to occur severe side effects. Gabapentin was introduced in 1994 as a novel antiepileptic drug and has been used to treat partial seizure. After 1995 gabapentin treatment for reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD) started, 45% of the reports about the analgesic efficacy of gabapentin were restricted to the treatments of non-epileptic pain syndrome. This drug is preferred to treat neuropathic pain because of a lower incidence of its side effects than those of other anti-convulsants and anti-depressants. For evaluating it's analgesic efficacy, the changes in the patients' subjective pain intensity was measured by the score on the visual analogue scale (VAS) and patient's objective pain intensity by measuring the skin temperature via infrared thermography were investigated respectively. Side effects of gabapentin were look into. We observed successful relief of neuropathic pain in the three patients which included post-herpetic neuraligia, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) and diabetic neuropathic pain, and the side effects of gabapentin were at acceptable levels.

Objectives: The objective of this study is to review the methods of combining acupoints of HANGYEOK(Cooling Mode) and YEOLGYEOK(Heating Mode) in Saam Acupuncture Method. Methods: We searched and investigated the journals and literatures by OASIS(Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine) and relevant searching engines with the key word "Saam, Hangyeok, Yeolgyeok". Unfortunately there was no relevant articles on this theme except six literatures. Six literatures with the key words relevant to Saam and acupuncture were selected and analyzed according to each composition of acupuncture prescription especially focusing on HANGYEOK and YEOLGYEOK. Results: Analyzing HANGYEOK and YEOLGYEOK of 12 meridians, two different methods emerged. In HANGYEOK to treat Heat Pattern, one method is to tonify Water points and directly sedate Fire points. The other is also to tonify Water point, but sedate Earth points instead of Fire points. It is assumed that Earth sedation method is to eradicate the underlying Fire. In only Heart meridian and Pericardium meridian there is one method to treat Heat Pattern: Water tonification and Fire Sedation. In YEOLGYEOK to treat Cold Pattern, there is one method to tonify Fire points and sedate Water points. In Pericardium meridian and Triple Energizer meridian there are some different combination of acupoints depending on literatures. Conclusions: Considering HANGYEOK and YEOLGYEOK in Saam Acupuncture Method, two methods are mainly discussed in HANGYEOK; Water Tonification Fire Sedation and Water Tonification Earth Sedation. To remove the underlying Fire, it is regarded that Water Tonification Earth Sedation is appropriate and close to Saam's thought.

${\ulcorner}$Diagnosis and Treatment of pregnancy in Synopsis of Golden Chamber${\lrcorner}$ stated about pregnancy nausea, stomachache, discharging blood, urine disadvantage, note and quickening uncertainty that appear during pregnancy. When diagnose pregnancy, taking a serious view pulse(脈診). If Soyakmaek(小弱服) appears in Cheokmaek(尺脈), diagnose by pregnancy. Pregnancy nausea is reaction that often appear in pregnancy beginning. Light symptoms are treated naturally even if do not treat, heavy symptoms should treat certainly because can arrive for inheritance influencing to embryo. If spleen and stomach cause lack of Youngwi(營衛) harmorny losing function, used Gyejitang (桂技揚) Because spleen course stomach is weak, so, because there are been a lot of cold liquids, if vomiting catches continuously, used Geonganginsambanhahwan(乾薑附子半夏九). When treat pregnancy stomachache because Yang(陽) is weak, it is cold and make to be warm by Bujatang(附子楊) in case have a stomachache. Because Chungimmaek(衝任脈) weak and cold, use Gyoaetang(膠艾揚) in case there are stomachache and bleeding. Because liver and spleen do not harmonize, use Dangguijakyaksan(當歸芍藥散) if stomachache and vertigo occur. ect. There is no contents that foster embryo, but I am thought by something affected greatly at future generations.

2차 오염이 없는 물리적 선박 평형수 처리 장치의 조합별 비교를 통하여 비교적 우수한 조합을 밝혀내는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 2008년 IMO에서는 선박 평형수 문제를 제제하기 위해 배출 선박 평형수 내 미생물의 농도를 일정 농도로 규제하게 되었다. IMO 규제 농도를 맞추기 위한 멸균 방법으로는 약품을 이용한 화학적 처리, 전기분해를 통한 차아염소산 처리, UV나 오존 및 플라즈마를 이용하는 방법, membrane을 이용하는 방법 등이 있다. 하지만 어느 방법이나 부분적으로 2차오염이나 선체부식 및 살균효율 등의 단점을 가지고 있는 실정이다. 아울러 이런 단점들을 피해가면서 조류와 미생물을 효율적으로 멸균 시킬 수 있는 방법은 현재까지 미비한 실정이다. 본 연구에서 적용된 처리장치는 전단응력을 이용하여 2차 오염을 발생시키지 않으면서 조류와 미생물을 살균시킬 수 있는 물리적 살균처리장치이다. 본 연구에서는 이 장치의 다양한 type별 조합으로 실험하여 살균 가능한 최저 회전속도에 따른 최고 유량 등을 규명하여 상업적 처리 장치의 설계를 위한 기초자료로 삼고자하였다.

Objective : The authors introduce a minimally invasive muscle sparing transmuscular microdiscectomy (MSTM) to treat herniated lumbar disc disease. Its results are compared with conventional subperiosteal microdiscectomy (CSM) to validate the effectiveness. Methods : Muscle sparing transmuscular microdiscectomy, which involves muscle dissection approach using the natural fat cleavage plane between the multifidus to expose the interlaminar space, was performed in 23 patients to treat a single level unilateral lumbar radiculopathy. The creatine phosphokinase (CPK)-MM serum levels were measured on admission and at 1, 3, and 5 days postoperatively. Postoperative pain was evaluated using a 10-point visual analogue scale (VAS) and recorded on admission and at 1, 3, and 5 days postoperatively. The results were compared to those from the conventional subperiosteal microdiscectomy (43 patients). Results : The CPK-MM levels were significantly lower in the serum of the MSTM group compared to the CSM group on postoperative days three and five (p = 0.03 and p = 0.02, respectively). The clinical scales for back pain using VAS were significantly lower in the MSTM group than in the CSM group on postoperative days three (p = 0.04). The mean VAS scores for leg pain in both groups showed no significant differences during the early postoperative period. Conclusion : Muscle sparing transmuscular microdiscectomy is a minimally invasive surgical option to treat lumbar radiculopathy due to herniated disc. The approach affected minimal injury to posterior lumbar supporting structures with alleviated postoperative back pain.

Gyeongoggo is first described in the Collected Prescription by Hong Family in the Song Dynasty in China. It is composed of Radix Rehmnniae, Panax ginseng, Poria cocos, and Mel. Its main efficacy is to treat weakness of primordial essence of body and dry cough, and to invigorate qi and replenish yin principle. It is one of the most important prescriptions that people have been using for a long time. We studied the documents recorded in the medical classics and comprehended the following results. Gyeongoggo has efficacy to keep a person healthy and live long age, to treat amnesia and dizziness from brain weakness, to strengthen muscle and bone by improving function of stomach and colon, to improve a person's memory and judgement, to invigorate brain weakness, and, to treat tuberculosis and lung cancer. The longer a person take it, the better it is for one's health and meditation. When it is made, it is important to mix four components up, to boil it with an oak tree for three days and nights, and then to add water from a well to reduce heat for a full day, and to boil up again for a full day to mature fully. As gyeongoggo is acquired not only by the full heart of a manufacturer but also the sympathy of nature, it is important to choose a clean place to make and keep. When it is taken, it is proper to take it with warm water or liquors. And when it is made, we came to know that it is possible to make gyeongoggo with special efficacy by adding one to three more components.
