구형도파관 이중선형테이터의 전송특성 해석 (Transmission characteristics of a Linear Double Rectangular Taper)

  • 선형이중테이퍼의 부송특성을 테이퍼의 부송행렬을 이용 하여 해야한다. 테이퍼의 축방향에 따라 같은 길이로 분할하고 분할된 테이괴의 정송행칙을 모두 곱하여 테이퍼 전반의 전준행렬을 구한다. 전송행렬에 의하여 계산된 정재파비를 Johnson과 Matsumaru에 수하여 계산된 결과와 비교한다.

Transmission Matrix Noise Elimination for an Optical Disordered Medium

  • We propose a method to eliminate the noise of a disordered medium optical transmission matrix. Gaussian noise exists whenever light passes through the medium, during the measurement of the transmission matrix and thus cannot be ignored. Experiments and comparison of noise eliminating before and after are performed to illustrate the effectiveness and advance presented by our method. After noise elimination, the results of focusing and imaging are better than the effect before noise elimination, and the measurement of the transmission matrix is more consistent with the theoretical analysis as well.

스펙트럴 전달행렬에 의한 헬리컬 기어계의 진동해석 (Vibration Analysis of the Helical Gear System by Spectral Transfer Matrix)

  • This paper presents a study on the analytical prediction of vibration transmission from helical gears to the bearing. The proposed method is based on the application of the three dimensional helical gear behaviors and complete description of shaft by the spectral method. Helical gear system used in this paper consists of the driving element, helical gears, shafts, bearings, couplings and load element. In order to describe all translation and rotation motion of helical gears twelve degree of freedom equations of motion by the transmission error excitation are derived. Using these equations, transfer matrix for the helical gear is derived. For the detail behavior of shaft motion, the $12{\times}12$ transfer matrix for the shaft is derived. Transfer matrix for the bearing, coupling, driving element, and load is also derived. Application of the boundary conditions in the assembled transfer matrix produces the forces and displacements in each element of the helical gear system. The effect of the proposed method is shown by numerical example.

  • The four-terminal transmission matrix method has been widely used to estimate the insertion-loss. However, the predictins using the equations in the four-terminal transmission matrix method do not reflect a practical phenomenon accurately, In this paper, the correction method to derive the insertion-loss for a constant sound pressure source is presented. The method of correction to the four-terminal transmission matrix method was proposed by rewriting the real and imaginary parts as they depend solely on the flow velocity. Then the result was compensated for by adding the component of the temperature gradient.

  • In this paper, high speed IC package-to-package interconnections are modeled as lossless multiconductor transmission lines operating in the TEM mode. And, three mathematical algorithms for computing electrical parameters of the lossless multiconductor transmission lines are described. A semi-analytic Green's function method is used in computing per unit length capacitance and inductance matrices, a matrix square root algorithm based on the QR algorithm is used in computing a characteristic impedance matrix, and a matrix algorithm based on the theory of M-matrix is used in computing a diagonally matched load impedance matrix. These algorithms are implemented in a computer program DIME (DIagonally Matched Load Impedance Extractor) which computes electrical parameters of the lossless multiconductor transmission lines. Also, to illustrate the concept of design database for high speed IC package-to-package interconnection, a database for the multi conductor strip transmission lines system is constructed. This database is constructed with a sufficiently small number of nodes using the multi-dimensional cubic spline interpolation algorithm. The maximum interpolation error for diagonally matched load impedance matrix extraction from the database is 1.3 %.

Chain Matrix를 이용한 Twisted Cable의 EMP(Electromagnetic Pulse) 결합 해석 (Analysis of Electromagnetic Pulse Coupling to Twisted Cable Using Chain Matrix)

  • 본 논문은 다중 도체 전송선 해석법과 chain matrix 알고리즘을 이용하여 twisted cable과 같은 비균일 전송선의 EMP 결합을 해석하였다. 전송선의 EMP 결합 해석을 위해 BLT(Baum-Liu-Tesche) 해석법이 널리 사용되고 있으나, twisted cable과 같은 비균일 전송선에 기존의 BLT 해석법을 바로 적용하기는 어렵다. Twisted cable과 같은 비균일 전송선을 해석하기 위해 수많은 작은 길이의 균일 전송선으로 나누어 모델링하였으며, 전체 비균일 전송선의 결합 특성은 각각의 균일 전송선의 EMP 결합 분석을 통해 최종적인 전송선의 결합 특성을 구함으로 써 가능해진다. 이러한 비균일 전송선 EMP 결합 해석 기법을 검증하기 위해 균일 전송선에 대하여 기존의 BLT 해석 결과와 비교하였으며, 제시된 비균일 전송선 EMP 결합 해석 기법을 지표면 위에 놓여 있는 twisted cable에 적용하여 대기 중의 핵폭발에 의한 HEMP(High altitude Electromagnetic Pulse)와 같은 매우 강한 펄스가 입사되었을 때, 전송선에 연결된 부하에 유기되는 전류(또는 전압) 응답을 분석하였다.

전송선로행열에 대한 유사변환을 이용한 PCB기판 임피던스 해석 (PCB Board Impedance Analysis Using Similarity Transform for Transmission Matrix)

  • 디지털 시스템의 동작주파수가 증가하고 전압스윙폭이 감소함에 따라 PCB보드의 정확하고 빠른 해석이 중요하게 되었다. 단위 기둥 행열의 다중곱을 이용하는 전송선로 행열을 이용한 방법은 PCB보드 해석에 있어서 가장 빠른 방법이다. 본 논문에서 PCB보드 임피던스를 계산하는 새로운 방법이 제안되었다. 우선, 이 방법에서 PCB의 단위기둥에 대한 전송선로행열의 고유치와 고유벡터가 계산되고, 단위기둥에 대한 전송선로 행열은 행열요소의 곱셈횟수를 줄이기 위해 행열유사변환을 통해 변환된다. 이러한 유사변환을 방법은 기존방법에 비해 계산시간을 대폭 줄여 줄 수 있다. 제안된 방법은 가로 1.3인치 세로 1.9인치의 PCB기판에 적용되었고, 10배 정도의 계산시간저감 효과를 보였다. 제안된 방법은 보드임피던스의 반복적인 계산을 필요로 하는 PCB설계에 응용될 수 있다.

Force Transmission Analyses with Dimensionally Homogeneous Jacobian Matrices for Parallel Manipulators

  • To avoid the unit inconsistency problem in the conventional Jacobian matrix, new formulation of a dimensionally homogeneous inverse Jacobian matrix for parallel manipulators with a planar mobile platform by using three end-effector points was presented (Kim and Ryu, 2003). This paper presents force relationships between joint forces and Cartesian forces at the three End-Effector points. The derived force relationships can then be used for analyses of the input/output force transmission. These analyses, forward and inverse force transmission analyses, depend on the singular values of the derived unit consistent Jacobian matrix. Using the proposed force relationship, a numerical example is presented for actuator size design of a 3-RRR planar parallel manipulator.

평면 작업용 병렬 메카니즘의 특성 해석을 위한 기하학적 접근 (A Geometrical Approach to the Characteristic Analysis of Parallel Mechanism for Planar Task)

  • This paper presents a geometrical approach to the characteristic analysis of parallel mechanism with free joints intended for use as a planar task robot. Solution of the forward and inverse kinematic problems are described. Because the mechanism has only three degree-of-freedom output, constraint equations must be generated to describe the inter-relationship between actuated joints and free joints so as to describe the position and orientation of the moving platform. Once these constraints are incorporated into the kinematics model, a constrained Jacobian matrix is obtained. and it is used for the solution of the forward kinematic equations by Newton-Raphson technique. Another Jacobian matrix was derived to describe the interrelationship between actuated joints and moving platform. The stiffness, velocity transmission ratio, force transmission ratio and dexterity of the mechanism are then determined based on this another Jacobian matrix. The geometrical construction of the mechanism for the best performance was investigated using the characteristic analysis.
