  • Information system, organization structure, and business strategy have been major variables in MIS research. Most of research about these variables interested in the relationship of two variables. There were very few efforts to connect three variables. But relationship or fitness of these factors plays an important role to improve performance. Nowadays managers face new challenge. That is 'globalization' To cope with this turbulent environment, they have to know how to fit these Important factors(information system, organization structure, business strategy). It is the main purpose of this article to find out the fitness of these variables under global business environment. Based on literature review, I made research model which tells whether fitness of three variables affects performance under the control of headquarter. And I propose hypothesis. I define strategy as global innovator, integrated player, implementers role, local innovator and organization structure as multinational, global, international, trans-national and information system as independent IT operation, headquarter driven configuration, intellectual synergy configuration, global integrated IT configuration.

  • In this paper, we propose a real-time video transcoding scheme for N-Screen service based on cloud computing. This scheme creates an intro-block and several playback blocks by splitting the original video. And there is the first service request, after transmitting the intro-block, transmits the playback blocks that converting the blocks on real-time. In order to completing trans-coding within playback time of each block, we split and allocate the block to node according to performance of each node. Also, in order to provide real-time video playback service, the previous scheme convert original video into all format and resolution. However we show that the proposed scheme can reduce storage usage by converting original video into format with proper resolution suitable to device and platform of client. Through simulation, we show that it is more effective to real-time video playback for N-screen service than the previous method. We also show that the proposed scheme uses less storage usage than previous method.

  • Detection of gamma ray can be available using optical fiber scintillator under radiation environment. It monitors the transfer energies of these ions by photodiodes and then convertes into currents. The module which converts those currents into voltages and processes signals is named fine current module TIA, and it is essentially important to convert currents into voltages with high linearity. We have studied and developed the TIA, improving converting linearity and minimizing noises and off-set voltages. Also, we have made efforts to develop precise and accurate current module in compliance with concerned requirements. First of all, we established developing theory, developed related circuits, and then made the current module. And, we confirmed its stability and linearity to be more excellent than any other equipment proposed by other references. We tested the developed fine current modules in the real radiation environment under authorized supervising, confirmed them to meet related requirements.

  • The Moore's law states that the number of transistors on a chip doubles about every 18 months. And it was reported that the network speed has been doubled about every 9 months. This indicates that computing power and network is no longer the obstacles for the high performance applications requiring terabits networks. We believe that the application motivates the network and vice versa. This presentation will introduce the GLORIAD which is the first ring network connecting six countries around the world and provides scientists with advanced networking tools that improve a communications and data exchange. The GLORIAD trans-Pacific link started its service on August 1, 2005. Since then, there has been remarkable demonstrations were performed through major conferences like Supercomputing Conference. This paper will introduce the global collaborative works on demonstrations of VMT, high energy physics, SDSS and HD video transmission during SC'06 in Tampa, FL.

  • Performing arts is an intangible arts that disappears immediately at the moment it is presented and remains only in the memory of the performer's body and audience. The same repetition, restoration and reproduction of the disappeared performance is impossible, but artists of all times and places have tried various recording methodology to leave their performances in the tangible form. The performing arts archive is where performing arts are recorded, preserved, and utilized. In the fourth industrial Revolution era, library institutions in developed countries are turning into institutions that support creative activity by not only artists but also the general public. Korea's performing arts archives should also shift from the role of an old archive to a platform to create new cultural contents. This paper summarizes the changes in the Korean performing arts archive and presents the creative application of the performing arts archive in response to the fourth industrial revolution.

  • The combination of multiple antennas and multi-carrier code division multiple-access (MC-CDMA) is a strong candidate for the downlink of the next generation mobile communications. The study of such systems in scenarios that model real-life trans-missions is an additional step towards an optimized achievement. We consider a realistic MIMO channel with two or four transmit antennas and up to two receive antennas, and channel state information (CSI) mismatches. Depending on the mobile terminal (MT) class, its number of antennas or complexity allowed, different data-rates are proposed with turbo-coding and asymptotic spectral efficiencies from 1 to 4.5 bit/s/Hz, using three algorithms developed within the European IST-MATRICE project. These algorithms can be classified according to the degree of CSI at base-station (BS): i) Transmit space-frequency prefiltering based on constrained zero-forcing algorithm with complete CSI at BS; ii) transmit beamforming based on spatial correlation matrix estimation from partial CSI at BS; iii) orthogonal space-time block coding based on Alamouti scheme without CSI at BS. All presented schemes require a reasonable complexity at MT, and are compatible with a single-antenna receiver. A choice between these algorithms is proposed in order to significantly improve the performance of MC-CDMA and to cover the different environments considered for the next generation cellular systems. For beyond-3G, we propose prefiltering for indoor and pedestrian microcell environments, beamforming for suburban macrocells including high-speed train, and space-time coding for urban conditions with moderate to high speeds.

  • This study aims to examine the present (Western) modern dance by analyzing the works of three choreographers who are currently at the forefront of the dance scene to identify and understand the current choreographic trend. The three selected choreographers for this study are Justin Peck (USA), Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui (Belgium) and Zach Morris (USA). These choreographers were chosen on the basis of their significant identity within the current dance scene. For analysis, one noteworthy works of each choreographer were selected for video analysis. The result of the analysis illustrates that in the current era of promoting technology convergence in the performing arts industry, the three choreographers approach convergence differently by integrating dance and other mediums in their choreography. Peck converges between ballet and the ordinary, Cherkaoui converges between dance and other cultures and Morris converges between dance and venue.

  • It is well known that coagulation pretreatment can reduce foulants prior to membrane filtration. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of coagulation on fouling of ceramic microfiltration membrane($0.1 {\mu}m$) using pilot plant of $150m^3/day/train$ capacity. Train A membrane system has pretreatment process of ozonation and coagulation while train B has only coagulation. Two types of coagulation operation were investigated: back mixer(rapid mixing with or without slow mixing) which is a conventional mechanically stirred mixer and an inline static mixer. Ozone dose rate for train A was 1 mg/L and ozone contact time was 12 min. The coagulation dose(PACl 10% as $Al_2O_3$) rate was changed 20~40 mg/L according to experimental schedule. In this experimental conditions, the coagulation of back mixer type with rapid mixing(GT=72,000) and slow mixing(GT=45,000) was the best effective in reduction of ceramic membrane fouling regardless preozonation. Especially, the effect of inline static mixer was sensitive to change in water quality. Ozonation mainly affected irreversible fouling rather than reversible fouling in accordance with less adsorption of NOM on the membrane surface. Thus, the increase rate of the nomalized TMP(trans membrane pressure) at $25^{\circ}C$ for train A was relatively lower than that of train B under same coagulation process with same coagulant dosage. The best performance of ceramic membrane appeared in case of combined process with ozonation, therefore this integrated process is able to archive less coagulant dosing and secure a stability of ceramic membrane system.

  • The objectives of this research were the reduction of membrane fouling and improvement of sludge properties by using synthesized H-ZSM-5 and NH4-ZSM-5 zeolites. These two nano zeolites were synthesized and added to the membrane bioreactor (MBR). Three similar MBRs with the same operational condition were used in order to evaluate their effect on the mentioned matters. The evaluated parameters were trans-membrane pressure (TMP), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), particle size distribution (PSD), soluble microbial product (SMP), extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) and, excitation-emission matrix (EEM). The MBR0 was without any additional zeolite while 0.4 g/L of H-ZSM-5 and NH4-ZSM-5 were added to MBRHZSM-5 and MBRNH4ZSM-5, respectively. The COD removal of the MBR0, MBRH-ZSM-5 and MBRNH4-ZSM-5 were 87.5%, 93.3% and 94.6%, respectively. The TMP of the MBRH-ZSM-5 was 45% less than MBR0 whereas the reduction for MBRNH4-ZSM-5 was 65.5%. Also results showed that both H-ZSM-5 and NH4-ZSM-5 caused reduction in protein and polysaccharide related EPS but the NH4-ZSM-5 had better performance toward the elimination of organic compounds.

  • Upper stage of launch vehicle mainly injects a lunar explorer from low earth orbit to the moon at a distance of 380,000 km. In foreign lunar explorer, the upper stage is separated from the explorer after the explorer is injected into the earth-moon transfer trajectory, and the lunar explorer then uses on-board propellant to carry out mid-course correction maneuvers and lunar orbit insertion maneuvers. This study describes a newly presented small liquid upper stage. Using a small liquid upper stage with a wet mass of 2.9 tonnes, the lunar explorer not only can be injected earth-moon transfer trajectory but also can be performed lunar orbit insertion. This study provides acceptable mass range of the lunar explorer and the scope of acceptable mission range also describes based on the launch from Naro Space Center.
