DACUM 기법과 전문가회의를 통한 방재분야 교육과정 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Curriculum Development for Disaster Management by DACUM Technique and Expert Committee)

  • 본 연구는 방재분야의 교육과정 개발을 위해 DACUM 기법을 이용하여 개발한 교육과정과 전문가회의를 통해 개발한 교육 과정을 비교 분석하여 방재분야의 교육과정을 개발하였다. 첫째, DACUM 기법을 이용한 교육과정 개발은 방재분야의 직무를 예방, 대비, 대응, 복구 등 4가지 직무로 구분하고, 각 직무별로 3명의 방재전문가와 1명의 교육전문가가 3회씩의 워크삽을 통해 예방직무에서 9개 과정, 대비 직무에서 12개 과정, 대비 직무에서 7개 과정, 복구 직무에서 4개의 교육과정을 개발하였다. 둘째, 전문가회의를 통해 교육과정을 개발하였다. 전문가회의는 5명의 방재전문가와 3명의 교육전문가가 4회의 회의를 거쳐 35개의 교육과정을 개발하였다. 이를 통해 DACUM 기법과 전문가회의를 통해 도출된 교육과정을 전문가들의 토론을 거쳐 최종적으로 예방 및 대비 직무에서 31개 과정과 대응 및 복구 직무에서 14개의 교육과정을 개발하였으며, 추가적으로 인적재난에서 6개 과정과 관리자별 4개 과정을 개발하였다.

환경관리인의 교육.훈련 현황 및 개선 방안 연구 (Regimes for the Improvement on Education and Training for Environmental Mangers on site)

  • The environmental quality in Korea was significantly deteriorated though the past economic development period. Even though the government has spent huge sum of resources on the policies and projects to improve the environmental quality, it is much removed from what the people hope for. To solve the environmental problems effectively, pollutants generated at source should be kept as minimum as possible, and possible, and pollutants from source be controlled before leaving the sources, and most of all, environmental strategies and systems be established and enforced properly. So, it is not too much to say that nation's environmental quality is entirely dependent on the education and training of the environmental managers such as environmental employees for air, water, and noise discharge facilities, technicians at environmental plants, and environmental officers of central and local governments. Regimes for the improvement of the education and training for environmental managers are suggested into four categories-educational institute, circular of the study, training contents and trainees. Referring to the improvement of integrated institute, and to improvement on educational institute, it is necessary to investigate the feasibility of integrated institute, and to recommend the inclusion of the local colleges and universities, and environmental societies. For the improvement on training courses, it is necessary that the non-obligatory course be expanded, and the courses be developed in such a way to meet the needs from the field. As for the improvement on training contents. It is suggested that the practical training on size be strengthened, and also full time environmental specialist and integrated committee be required to develop the effective circular and selection of proper lectures. Finally, environmental education for high ranked officers of autonomies, and international courses for developing countries are suggested.

신임사서공무원을 위한 기본소양 사이버 연수용 콘텐츠 개발 (Development of Cyber Training Content for Newly Employed Public Services Librarians)

  • 본 연구는 신임사서 공무원을 위한 기본소양교육에 필요한 연수용 콘텐츠 개발을 위해, 신임사서 공무원의 연수과정을 실태 조사하고, 연수용 교육콘텐츠의 기획 설계 제작과정에 대한 개발모형을 제시하였다. 또한 소양교육 사이버연수용 콘텐츠를 평가하기 위한 자체 평가 도구를 개발하고, 전문가 집단에 의한 델파이 방식의 평가문항 및 척도의 검증작업도 실시하였다. 사이버 콘텐츠개발모형에 따라 개발된 최종 콘텐츠는 6개 영역 28차시로 제안되었고, 교육용 콘텐츠 타당성 평가 목적으로 평가문항 및 척도 구성을 위해 17개 문항에 대한 요인분석의 결과 변량치 .40 이상 4개 요인이 도출되었으며, 콘텐츠개발 모형에 대한 요인별 인식차이는 통계적인 의미를 보이지 않았지만, 문항별 적절성에 대한 인식의 차이는 일부 문항에서 현저히 낮은 결과를 보였다.

Analysis of the Program for Training Pre-service Earth Science Teachers: Focusing on College Curriculum

  • This study identified and examined earth science education department programs in Korea. Major courses provided by 11 universities and their course requirements were analyzed, and the main research results are as follows. First, many basic courses, other major requisite, and elective courses are provided in geology, astronomy, and atmospheric science. oceanography, geophysics, earth environmental science, and natural disaster and energy resources had fewer major requisite courses provided in addition to basic courses, and few elective courses were offered. Second, many courses in science education focused on earth science, while others focused on general science and there were few courses that covered education theory regarding the specific subject. Third, science course application requirements emphasized the understanding of science in general or of earth science specifically. From the above results, additional studies are proposed to reflect on the current state and supplement these programs.

항공기 인증비행시험요원의 비행시험 자격 유지 방안 연구 (Study on How to Maintain the Flight Test Currency of Certification Flight Test Crew)

  • This is a research report about the method of how to maintain qualification of certification flight test crews. KCA(Korea Certification Agency) have completed the KC-100 airplane certification flight tests which is the first time experienced flight tests operation. After the certification flight test, it has been found that annual flying time requirement of 100 hours to the certification flight test pilot is too strict, and other several requirements to maintain the qualification of the certification test crew such as aircraft certification introduction training, initial flight test pilot and flight test engineer certification training, crew resource management training, aviation physiology training, and survival training was difficult to implement in Korean civil aviation environments. In this study, it was suggested that 30 hours of flying time for maintaining certification flight test pilot qualification could be applied to contribute for safe operation of certification flight test and the other training requirements of the certification flight test crew could be fulfilled using self made training courses, existing FAA training courses and Korean Air Force training resources. Therefore, it is recommended that the regulation of maintaining the certification flight test crew qualification should be refined to implement the requirement practically.

Effects of Infection Control Training on Dental Hygienists' Health Beliefs and Practices of Infection Control

  • This study aims to determine the changes in health beliefs and practices of dental hygienists on infection control after having received special training on that subject. The study population consisted of dental hygienists working at the dental institutions located in Seoul and Gyeonggi areas. The intervention group and the control group each had randomly assigned 26 dental hygienists. The intervention group received training courses on infection control once a week for 3 hours, for a total of 4 training sessions. We used a survey tool to find the changes between the two groups regarding their health beliefs and practices on infection control measures. The survey was conducted prior to the training sessions, 3 months and 2 weeks after the training. The study results revealed statistically significant increases in perceived sensitivity, perceived seriousness, and perceived benefits after the training courses in the intervention group (p<0.05). A statistically significant decrease in perceived barriers was also noted in the intervention group (p<0.05). Additionally, there was a statistically significant increase in the practice of infection control in the intervention group as compared to the control group (p<0.05). Therefore, we conclude that infection control training is crucial in bringing about positive changes to the health beliefs of dental hygienists, and a structured system is necessary for continuous infection management along with training in order to improve infection control practices.

보건간호인력 교육훈련 현황과 발전 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development Plan of Education & Training for Public Health Nursing Personnel)

  • Purpose: This study evaluated the education and training for public health nursing personnel and we suggest a development plan for their education and training. Methods: The data was collected from the annual planning reports of the Department of Health and Welfare Training in the Korea National Institute of Health from 1985 to 2004. Results: The summary of problems on the education and training included 1) unspecific educational goals and objectives, 2) a shortage of education and training programs for improving practical skills and knowledge on health promotion and chronic disease management, and 3) ineffective teaching methods based on lecture. In order to overcome these problems, education & training for public health nursing personnel should 1) establish dear and specific goals and objectives, 2) develop educational programs that focus on the trainee's needs and develop a long term educational program for reinforcing practical competency along with elementary courses for novices & advanced courses for experts, 3) utilize effective teaching methods such as case study, e-learning and applied learning programs. Conclusion: The education and training for public health nursing personnel should be improved in order to reinforce their competency and their ability to cope with the changing health care environment of the 21st century.

보건요원 교육효과 평가 (Evaluation on Effectiveness of Public Health Personnel Training)

  • To improve the effectiveness and efficiency of public health personnel training, we evaluated not only how appropriate the students felt the objectives, contents, methods and multimedia used in the train ing courses, but also how much the students accomplished the objectives and applied skill and knowledge to their own works. We selected 5 courses for the study : Tuberculosis control, Radiological technique, Public health information, Immunization, Mental health management courses used by Kirkpatrick's evaluation model. Reaction evaluation was carried out in final day by questionnaire. The results showed that all of them were very satisfied with educational input and curricula, learn Ing environment. Secondly, we measured the degree of learning achievement on pre and post training by questionaire of specific behavioral objectives. The degree of learning achievement was statistically higher just after training than pre training (paired t-test, p<0.01). Thirdly, evaluation of behavioral change to job was conducted to find out how much students applied skill and knowledge to their own job in 3 months after training by questionnaire. The results of behavioral change evaluation showed that 43.5% of the students who were performing job related with the training courses in 3 months after training applied the learned skill and knowledge to their own job quite well and 37.8% of them applied relatively well, therefore total 81.4% of them applied to their own job. And effectiveness of training for the above mentioned students showed that 41.9 % of them had improved or enforced their jobs after training, 35.5% of them had had no remarkable changes, and 15.7% had newly applied the learned skill and knowledge to their jobs. For evaluating the degree of usefulness of material predistribution in two weeks before training, we compared experimental groups with control groups. The results showed that general reactions are helpful but the degree of learning achievement is no discrepancy.

대학(교)의 보육관련 교과목 개설 현황 (An Analysis of Pre-service Curriculum for Child Care Teachers at Universities and Colleges in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the current status of pre-service curriculums for child care teachers at universities and colleges in Korea. To accomplish this, a survey was implemented to gather the lists of courses from each department training pre-service child care teachers. A total of 225 departments at universities and colleges across Korea participated in the survey. The results showed that the 37 different courses offered for child-care teacher licensure were different by school type (university or college) and major. Departments in colleges with specific majors such as early childhood education and social welfare offer courses that are also required for other certificates, including kindergarten teachers or social workers, so pre-service child care teachers may not have the opportunity to take courses specifically designed for their specific teaching needs or interests. Accordingly, there may be a restricted number of courses from which to choose during pre-service training periods. Based on the findings from this study, several political implications for improving child-care teacher professionalism were suggested.
