The development of autopilot system and flight management system (FMS) equipment in today's aircraft navigation can be attributed to the reduction of pilots' workload and the navigation safety. The effect of autopilot and FMS equipment is greater, especially in heavy airport traffic or complicated of the departure. However, some airport specific departure procedures result in an uncommanded turn event due to an error in the FMS, causing aircraft to deviate from the center line of the route. With most departure procedures requiring area navigation (RNAV) operation, pilot situation awareness and corrective action are the only ways to minimize aircraft deviation to maintain the safety of area navigation. Through analysis of the occurrence status of the uncommended turn event by aircraft type, airport and flight phase, and comparative analysis of the survey results of foreign airlines and the airlines self-reduction plan with the aircraft manufacturer's corrective action, it is intended to give implications for the need for more fundamental measures to prevent recurrence of such events.

In the past, various studies have been conducted on safety facility installation standards and road safety indices. But there are limitations in applying them to the field, such as using many survey items and variables that are difficult to use. Therefore, this study attempted to develop road safety judgment indicators considering the applicability of the research results and to prepare criteria for installing safety facilities. As part of the study, data of related systems were reviewed, and the use of variables already in use was figured out. Furthermore, the road safety judgment indicators reflecting traffic, road, and accident factors were developed through correlation and factor analysis. Later, the criteria score for determining the installation of safety facilities was derived through cluster analysis. The analyses suggested, that the installation judgment criterion score at the intersection was lower than that of the single road(crosswalk), and the road risk at the intersection was higher.
As multimedia contents demand and supply increase, internet traffic around the world increases. Several standardization groups are striving to establish more efficient compression standards to mitigate the problem. In particular, research to introduce deep learning technology into compression standards is actively underway. Despite the fact that deep learning-based technologies show high performance, they suffer from the domain gap problem when test video sequences have different characteristics of training video sequences. To this end, several methods have been made to introduce content-adaptive deep video compression. In this paper, we will look into these methods by three aspects: codec information-aware methods, model selection methods, and information signaling methods.

Data is an important resource to expect new value as 21st-century crude oil. In the shipping industry, despite the existence of numerous maritime data accumulated through ship operations, it was negligent in developing a business model with the data. This paper identified major demand sources and demand types based on the type and availability of maritime data surveyed through interviews with experts in the shipping industry and academia. Considering the characteristics and demands of these maritime data, this paper presented a private-type and public-interest business model. In the case of the private-type model, it creates additional added value by using maritime data and uses mainly ship internal data. The public-type model is to seek public safety and social benefits and mainly uses external data. A great synergy effect can be expected when combined with public services such as maritime survey, vessel traffic service, maritime environment management, and meteorological service. This study is expected to contribute greatly to the spread of the proposed business models throughout the shipping industry.
Purpose: This study analyzes and studies the characteristics of the Jeju area and uses them as basic data such as construction method design in the future development project. Method: Based on the ground survey data of the construction conducted in Jeju, the depth, relative density, N value, function state, color tone, groundwater level, and compressive strength were analyzed and studied. Result: Studies show that Jeju has columnar joints consisting of ancient volcanic activity and rapid cooling by nearby seawater, thick sand layers found on the coast, and clinker layers and Seogwipo layers formed by Mercury volcanic activity. Conclusion: It is hoped that it will be used as data for selecting basic design and basic construction method by understanding the special ground form of Jeju area and reflecting its characteristics well when designing construction.

Various elements such as geometry, traffic safety facilities, congestion level, weather, etc., need to be appropriately reflected in the assessment scenario evaluating the driving safety of automated vehicles. Therefore, this study first established a scenario structure and defined the layer of elements, to derive the elements to be reflected in the automated driving safety evaluation. After that, all elemental candidates that can be reflected in each layer were derived by reviewing the relevant literature. Finally, as a result of an expert survey, 77 items were selected to be reflected in the automated driving safety evaluation. The selected elements are expected to be actively utilized in developing scenarios for the driving safety evaluation of automated vehicles in simulation, proving ground, and real road assessments.

Every year, many shipping companies provide seaman safety education programs periodically to reduce ocean-traffic accidents. However, undertaking the regular safety training for seaman has been difficult because of litimation of space and time. Recently, VR technolgy is received attentions to overcome previous problems. It can provide users educational interactions between a user and virtual environment and fulfill sustainable teaching. In this paper, VR-based safety education content for sailors has been developed, and it includes four programs. Also, survey was conducted with four questionnaires such as immersiveness, easy to experience, satisfaction of education contents, comparative evaluation between traditional education program and VR education contents. As the result, immersiveness questionnaire could be gain 53.83% positive assessment, and easy to experience could be gain 65.38% positive assessment, and satisfaction could be gain 69.23% positive assessment. Lastly, comparative evaluation between traditional education program and VR education contents could be gain about 46% positive and 34% neutral assessments.

This study intends to explore the scope of the recognized equity capital of developer in real estate project finance loan screening. The factors which can be recognized as equity capital are categorized into 24 factors with 3 upper categories and 6 mid categories. In order to develop the importance weight of factors, AHP and Fuzzy methodologies are implemented based on survey analysis by experts in financial institutions. Research findings indicate that the land cost, evacuation cost, and real estate acquisition tax as land-related direct costs, and the design cost, traffic impact assessment cost, underground safety impact assessment cost, boundary surveying cost, and geological survey cost as the construction permit-related costs are higher than any others. On the other hand, the supplementary costs related to the operation of the developer show very low importance weight. Accordingly, the hierarchy of factors for equity capital should be clearly developed in order to minimize any dispute and prevent non-performing loans to real estate project finance.

The purpose of this study is to derive education programs for safety training class, create unit spaces and present components and methods of utilizing the spaces for the development of facilities models closely related to various policy, operation plan and facility construction projects promoted by related institutions such as the Ministry of Education, schools, architects and companies. This study is divided into five steps. First, we reviewed the literature related basic directions for safety education and facility plan, second, field survey included both field conditions such as spatial size and facility configuration and analysis of operating conditions like hours of operation and personnel. Base on literature review and field survey, it were used to analyze strengths and weaknesses of existing safety training classes, and five facility models was developed based on the Delphi method and expert participatory design. The result show that the facility models (drafts) of safety training class were developed as follows: (1)the facility model for traffic safety(pedestrian safety, vehicle safety, subway safety) (2)the facility model for first aid(emergency rescue, how to report) (3)the facility model for disaster safety(fire evacuation safety, life earthquake safety) (4)the facility model for elevator safety(elevator safety, escalator safety) (5)the facility model for drugs and violence safety (smoking drinking, sexual harassment safety, food safety) The safety training class can be composed by combining or separating each module according to affordable space size of each school.
This thesis is based on the speed variations which are observed both in a sing1e tunnel and a continuous tunnel. Kumdae II tunnel and Chiak I tunnel of Jungang Expressway are selected in order to analyze the characteristics of speed variations according to tunnel intervals I place importance on the computation of tunnel intervals according to the speed variations. there's a summary of the results. The results of the study reveal that speed changes occur both on 1km ahead of tunnel and within the tunnel. The speed change amounts to 7.1km/hr(6.7%) on these survey Points 2.7km/hr (2.9%) on access points, and from -3.6km/hr (-3.8%) to, +4.1km/hr(+4.7%) irregularly on egress points. The magnitude of speed chance appears small on the survey points where an interval of tunnel is short whereas the speed chance turn out to be rather significant on the points where the tunnel interval is long. The analysis of tunnel distances using multiple regression models shows that the appropriate tunnel distance turns out to be 732m. The distance of 732m seem to be providing a fecundation for uniform traffic flow in continuous tunnel conditions.
