피삭제와 공구재종의 상관관계에 근거한 절삭조건의 최적화(II) (Optmization of Cutting Condition based on the Relationship between Tool Grade and Workpiece Material (2nd. Report))

  • In optmizing cutting condition for face milling operation, tool wear is an important maching factor. For the purpose of establishing the relationship between various maching factor and tool wear, cutting tests have been performed. As a result, hardness and chemical composition of workpiece material, chemical compositition and grain size of cutting tool and cutting speed have been selected as machining factor. In addition, relationship between feed rate and workpiece hardness has been observed. Prior to utilizing cutting condition recommended by 'Machining Data Hardbook(MDH)' as a Knowledge base, an analysis for the validity has been provided. Based on this analysis, tool life criteria applied by MDH has been modifiied. Finaly, using MDH recommended data for neural network trainning, we can compensate the result form the trained neural network for optimizing cutting condition for some given workpice and cutting tool.

  • Productivity and machining performance can be improved by cutting analysis including cutting force prediction, surface error prediction and machining stability evaluation. In order to perform cutting analysis, cutting force coefficients database have to be constructed. Since cutting force coefficients are dependent on cutting condition in the existing research, a large number of calibration tests are needed to obtain cutting force coefficients, which makes it difficult to build the cutting force coefficients database. This paper proposes a generalized method for constructing the cutting force coefficients database us ins cutting-condition-independent coefficients. The tool geometry and workpiece material were considered as important components for database construction. Cutting force coefficients were calculated and analyzed for various helix and rake angles as well as for several workpiece. Furthermore, the variation of cutting force coefficients according to tool wear was analyzed. Tool wear was found to affect tool geometry, which results in the change of cutting force coefficients.

브로칭 공구의 수명 분석 (A Life-Process Analysis of Broaching Tool)

  • Broaching machine is widely used for machining inner shaped slots in the work-pieces, and provides vertical motion (usually hydraulically powered) between tool and work-piece. In this study, we modelled the tool life process and investigated economic tool life of broaching machine. Tool life process is divided into wear-process and succeeding failure process. Wear process is defined as machining wear and failure process as 'chipping' occurred by random shock. We modelled wear process as linear regression function for products amounts and assumed failure process as Poisson process. Economic tool life is defined as the number of lots which minimizes average tool related cost per lot and analyzed by using age replacement policy technique. As tool-related cost factors, we consider tool replacement cost, tool maintenance cost and quality costs of products. The results of this study can be applied to analyze life process of general machining tools.

  • 무인항공기(UAV)를 이용하여 효율적인 감시정찰을 수행하기 위해서는 센서의 고성능, 다중화와 함께 운용상황에 맞는 최적화된 비행경로계획이 요구된다. 이뿐만 아니라 시스템 개발 또는 임무운용 전 임무 효용성 평가, 평시와 전시에 빠른 작전 결정을 위해서는 임무를 가시화할 수 있는 가시화 도구가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 STK(Systems Tool Kit)와 MATLAB을 통합한 임무 가시화 및 분석 도구를 개발하고 이를 통하여 UAV 감시정보정찰(ISR; Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) 임무분석을 수행하였다. 개발된 임무분석 도구에는 비행최적화 뿐만 아니라 장애물 회피 알고리즘, FoM(Figure of Merit) 분석 알고리즘이 적용되어 최적의 임무계획이 가능하도록 하였다.

  • 악성 앱 분석 도구는 안드로이드 기반 앱을 도구에 정의된 AI 기반 알고리즘에 의해 분석되어 악성코드가 포함되었는지 탐지하는 시스템이다. 현재 스마트폰의 보급이 활성화됨에 따라 악성 앱을 사용한 범죄가 증가하였고, 이에 따라 악성 앱에 대한 보안이 요구되는 실정이다. 스마트폰에 사용되는 안드로이드 운영체제는 점유율이 70%이상이며, 오픈소스 기반이기 때문에 많은 취약성 및 악성코드가 존재할뿐만 아니라, 악성 앱에 대한 피해도 증가하여 악성 앱을 탐지하고 분석하는 도구에 대한 수요도 증가할 것이다. 하지만, 악성 앱 분석 도구에 대한 보안기능요구사항이 정확히 명시되지 않아, 악성 앱 분석도구를 구축 및 개발하는데 있어 많은 어려움이 있기 때문에 본 논문을 제안한다. 개발한 보호프로파일을 통해 악성 앱 분석 도구의 설계 및 개발에 기반이 되어 기술력을 향상시킬 수 있고, 악성 앱에 대한 피해를 최소화하여 안전성을 확보 할 수 있으며, 더 나아가 정보보호제품 인증을 통해 악성 앱 분석 도구에 대한 신뢰를 보증할 수 있다.

  • 본 연구에서는 영상레이다 (SAR)의 영상품질 분석 변수 및 확장 보간법, 배경레벨 제거 기법 등의 분석 기법을 정의하고 이를 바탕으로 SAR 영상품질 분석 툴을 개발하였다. 개발된 SAR 영상품질 분석 툴은 크게 점 표적 분석 (PTA) 모듈, 분산 표적 분석 (DTA) 모듈, 모호성 분석 (AMA) 모듈, NESZ 분석 (NESZA) 모듈, 총 4개의 주요 모듈로 구성된다. 개발 툴은 SAR 제품 파일 포맷에서 다양한 시스템 파라미터 추출하고, 이를 바탕으로 임펄스 응답 특성, 방사 성능, 모호성 등의 SAR 영상 품질 변수를 계산한다.

Web-based DNA Microarray Data Analysis Tool

  • Since microarray data structures are various and complicative, the data are generally stored in databases for approaching to and controlling the data effectively. But we have some difficulties to analyze and control the data when the data are stored in the several database management systems. The existing analysis tools for DNA microarray data have many difficult problems by complicated instructions, and dependency on data types and operating system, and high cost, etc. In this paper, we design and implement the web-based analysis tool for obtaining to useful information from DNA microarray data. When we use this tool, we can analyze effectively DNA microarray data without special knowledge and education for data types and analytical methods.

  • Recent advances in computer technology have brought more dependence on software to railway systems. Hence, the safety assurance of the vital software running on the railway system is very critical task and yet, not many works have been done. While much efforts have been reported to improve electronic hardware's safety, not so much systematic approaches to evaluate software's safety. In this paper, we suggested an automated analysis tool for S/W change impact in railway system, and presented its result of implementation. The analysis items in the implemented tool had referred to the international standards in relation to the software for railway system, such as IEC 61508 and IEC 62279. In these international standards, 'change impact analysis' for railway system S/W has to be required mandatorily. The proposed tool can be utilized at the assessment stage and also the software development stage.

  • One of the activities to improve software quality in ISO 26262 is to apply the design principles for software unit design and implementation mentioned in ISO 26262-6, including the evaluation activity. Before evaluation activity, the tool is compared and selected for evaluation. Because the results of the tool a company selected might have an effect on product quality. In this paper, we suggest the method to compare industrial static analysis tools with some of "MISRA C : 2004 Exemplar Suite" and all lessons learned from comparing tools are described. The result on comparison shows that we just couldn't rely on a result of Static Analysis Tool and need to have another appropriate processes and guidelines to evaluate a software.
