  • For a map $f:A{\rightarrow}X$, there are concepts of $H^f$-spaces, $T^f$-spaces, which are generalized ones of H-spaces [17,18]. In general, Any H-space is an $H^f$-space, any $H^f$-space is a $T^f$-space. For a principal fibration $E_k{\rightarrow}X$ induced by $k:X{\rightarrow}X^{\prime}$ from ${\epsilon}:PX^{\prime}{\rightarrow}X^{\prime}$, we obtain some sufficient conditions to having liftings $H^{\bar{f}}$-structures and $T^{\bar{f}}$-structures on $E_k$ of $H^f$-structures and $T^f$-structures on X respectively. We can also obtain some results about $H^f$-spaces and $T^f$-spaces in Postnikov systems for spaces, which are generalizations of Kahn's result about H-spaces.

  • Let f:R.rarw.R be a continuous function on the real line R, and denote the n-th iterate of f by f$^{n}$ :f$^{1}$=f and f$^{n}$ =f.f$^{n-1}$ for n>1. A point x.mem.R is a periodic point of f of period k>0 if f$^{k}$ (x)=x but f$^{i}$ (x).neq.x for all 01, then it must also have a fixed point, by the intermediate Theorem. Also the question has an intriguing answer which was found by ths Russian mathematician Sharkovky [6] in 1964.

  • In this paper we study the problem of normal families of meromorphic functions concerning shared values. Let F be a family of meromorphic functions in the plane domain $D{\subseteq}{\mathbb{C}}$ and n, k be two positive integers such that $n{\geq}k+1$, and let a, b be two finite complex constants such that $a{\neq}0$. Suppose that (1) $f+a(f^{(k)})^n$ and $g+a(g^{(k)})^n$ share b in D for every pair of functions f, $g{\in}F$; (2) All zeros of f have multiplicity at least k + 2 and all poles of f have multiplicity at least 2 for each $f{\in}F$ in D; (3) Zeros of $f^{(k)}(z)$ are not the b points of f(z) for each $f{\in}F$ in D. Then F is normal in D. And some examples are provided to show the result is sharp.

  • In this paper, we investigate the stability of the additive-cubic functional equations f(x+ky)+f(x-ky)-k2 f(x+y)-k2 f(x-y)+(k2-1)f(x) - (k2-1)f(-x) = 0, f(x+ky)-f(ky-x)-k2 f(x+y)+k2 f(y-x)+2(k2-1)f(x)= 0, f(kx+y)+f(kx-y)-kf(x+y)-kf(x-y)-2f(kx)+2kf(x)= 0 by using the fixed point theory in the sense of L. • The fishing hooks were tested for breaking and unbending due to plastic deformation of the material. Study of tensile test is not complicated, but has not even worked out fully enough, especially when the test specimen is subjected to plastic deformation. The fishing hook is subjected to unbending stress and the critical section is a Point which is furthest from the line of action of the forces. The dynamic force of fish during jerks depends on their speed of movement and body weight, the kinetic energy corresponding to it and also on the rlastic displacement of the rigging which absorb the energy. Six kinds of hook were tested by the dynamometer under tensile speed 290mm/min (subscript s) and 780mm/min (subscript f). According to their results, the breaking load(B: kg) can be induced with the formula $B={\alpha}wd^2+\beta$ where w(mm) is the distance between the barb base and the lower shank and d(mm) is diameter. The coefficients of the formula for the round hooks(R) and the angular hooks(A) are approximately as follows: $$R:\;\alpha_{s}=0.5,\;\beta_{s}=1.6,\;\alpha_{f}=0.4,\;\beta_{f}=1.4$$ $$A:\;\alpha_{s}=1.1,\;\beta_{s}=2.0,\;\alpha_{f}=1.0,\;\beta_{f}=0.9$$ The ratio of $B_{f}\;to\;B_{s}$ is corresponding to 0.8. The ratio of deformation(X) that is moved distance of barb base at break to the distance(H) between head base and barb base is about $50\%$. Further study should be carried out on the subject of impact and fatigue test under the same condition which is exerted force by the hooked fish.

  • The chemical forms of calcium compounds in perilla leaves and their changes after harvest were investigated. The four types of calcium compounds extracted were as follows: water soluble calcium(F-I: mainly water soluble organic acid salts and calcium ion), IN-sodium chloride soluble calcium(F-II: calcium-pectate and calcium-carbonate), 2%-acetic acid soluble calcium(F-III: calcium-phosphate), and 5%-hydrochloric acid soluble calcium(F-IV: calcium-oxalate). The calcium content of perilla leaves was not found to vary with their age. Relatively high levels of F-l (28.4~39.5) and F-II (34.4~47.4) were found in young and mature leaves while the F-IV constituted 15.6~21.6% of the total calcium. The F-IV calcium contents of perilla. spinach and jaso were 16.8, 42.4 and 22.3%, respectively. In contrast to calcium. magnesium existed as water soluble magnesium at the highest content of 90.6% in spinach while 62.9% and 16.8% of the total magnesium existed as water soluble magnesium in perilla and jaso, repectively. The change in vitamin C and F-IV calcium content were examined for 7 days after harvest. Vitamin C content decreased slowly at the beginning but rapidly from the 4th day after harvest. On the other hand, the F-IV calcium content increased slowly at the beginning and rapidly from the 4th day of observation. This result suggests that the increase in F-IV calcium is related to the decrease in vitamin C content. This phenomena was more distinctly observed at 2$0^{\circ}C$ than 5$^{\circ}C$.

  • Optical and electrical characteristics of the fluorocarbon films deposited in a high-density C4F8 plasma under various source powers and pressures were investigated. The F/C ratio of the fluorocarbon film deposited in a high-density C4F8 plasma increased with increasing source power and decreasing pressure due to two-step deposition mechanism. The change in the F/C ratio of the film directly affected the optical and electrical characteristics of the fluorocarbon films deposited in a high-density C4F8 plasma. The refractive index of the fluorocarbon film increased with decreasing source power and increasing pressure contrary to the dependence of the film's F/C ratio on the source power and pressure. This was because the increase in the F/C ratio suppressed electronic polarization and weakened the network structures of the film. The resistivity of the fluorocarbon film showed the same behavior as its F/C ratio. In other words, the resistivity increased with increasing source power and decreasing pressure, resulting from stronger repellence of electrons at higher F/C ratios. This work offers the feasibility of the use of the fluorocarbon films deposited in a high-density C4F8 plasma as an alternative to low dielectric constant materials because the optical and electrical properties of the fluorocarbon film can be directly controlled by its F/C ratio.

  • This study was to investigate the effects(pain, discomfort, and range of motion) of heat therapy according to the application time among the elderly with osteoarthritis. Study participants were 27 elderly women, who were diagnosed as osteoarthritis, suffered from it for more than 6 months, and who were staying at a nursing home in Busan. The independent variable was heat therapy, which was applied for 20minutes, one time per week according to 3 timetable(before waking up, while in daily living, before going to bed) over 6 weeks. The dependent variables were pain and discomfort measured by 20 points visual analog scales, and range of extension and flexion measured by goniometery. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and repeated measures ANOVA. The results were as follows ; 1) There were significant differences for pain(F=9.77 p=.0001), discomfort(F=8.07 p=.001), range of extension(F=3.05 p=.05), and flexion(F=9.67 p=.0001) among heat therapy application times. 2) There were significant differences for pain(F=58.18 p=.0001), discomfort(F=63.68 p=.0001), range of extension(F=11.59 p=.001), and flexion(F=17.59 p=.0001) between before and after applying heat therapy. 3) There were not statistically significant differences for pain(F=.64 p=.531), discomfort(F=.18 p=.836), range of extension(F=1.33 p=.270), and fiexion(F=.26 p=.773) between before and after applying heat therapy according to the heat therapy application times. In conclusion, heat therapy was effective in reducing pain and discomfort, and in improving ROM for the elderly with osteoarthritis, but the effect of it was not different according to the time of application. We recommended further studies with larger sample size, longer and more repeatedly applied to investigate the effect of heat therapy according to the time of application.
