MAP 네트워크 관리 시스템의 트래픽 분석 (Analysis of the Traffic Characteristics for MAP Network Management System)

  • 본 논문에서는 생산 자동화 네트워크인 MAP에서 네트워크 관리 기능을 실현하기 위해 중용한 변수인 전송 지연과 버퍼크기 그리고 시스템의 안정도등의 트래픽 성능을 분석하였다. 네트워크 관리는 네트워크 상에서 통신이 정상적으로 수행되도록 자원의 제어 및 감독을 담당하는 것으로 네트워크 운영시 필수적으로 요구되는 기능이다. 그러나 MAP 네트워크는 운영시 빠른 응담성을 요구하기 때문에 네트워크 관리 시스템을 구현하여 운영하기 위해서는 네트워크 관리 활동으로 인한 영향을 고려하여야 한다. 네트워크 관리 시스템 동작시 발생하는 불균일한 트래픽을 분석하기 위해, 사이클릭 큐잉 모델을 이용해 해석적 방법과 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 대기 지연 시간과 버퍼 크기를 구했으며, 네트워크 관리 활동에 따른 시스템의 안정도를 분석하였다.

  • In this paper, the RedMAP, i.e. a redundant Mini-MAP system for high reliability is proposed. Redundancy is implemented for LLC, MAC, and Physical layer of ISL-Mini -MAP. The detection of error of the network, the broadcasting of the error event, and the network change sequence are three major functions for the dualized Mini-MAP system. The abnormal operation of the network is mainly detected indirectly with the function of the TBC( token bus controller). The time delay to be required for the change of the networks must be minimized. With the RedMAP, we can achieve successful transmission only with short additional recovery time.

  • The 3D-AVC standard aims at improving coding efficiency by applying new techniques for utilizing intra, inter and view predictions. 3D video scenes are rendered with existing texture video and additional depth map. The depth map comes at the expense of increased computational complexity of the encoding process. For real-time applications, reducing the complexity of 3D-AVC is very important. In this paper, we present a fast intra mode decision algorithm to reduce the complexity burden in the 3D video system. The proposed algorithm uses similarity between texture video and depth map. The best intra prediction mode of the depth map is similar to that of the corresponding texture video. The early decision algorithm can be made on the intra prediction of depth map coding by using the coded intra mode of texture video. Adaptive threshold for early termination is also proposed. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm saves the encoding time on average 29.7% without any significant loss in terms of the bit rate or PSNR value.

  • Satellite ground track display computer program is designed and implemented for the KOMPSAT-2 mission operations. Digitized world map and detailed Korean map is realized with zoom and pan capability. The program supports real-time ground trace and off-line satellite image planning on the world map. Satellite mission timeline is also displayed with the satellite ground track for the visualized mission operations. In this paper, the satellite ground track display is described in the aspect of the functional requirements, design, and implementation.

  • Network management is responsible for gathering information on the usage of the network media by the network devices, ensuring the correct operation of the network, and providing reports. MAP network management must provide the high reliability of the media and signaling method, even in very harsh environments, providing a very low bit error rate and minimum number of retransmission. In this paper, we analysed the framework of OSI management and MAP network management and discussed the implementation method of fault management and remote management mechanism in the Mini-MAP controller developed for IBM-PC.

The uniform laws of large numbers for the chaotic logistic map

  • The standard logistic map is an iterative function, which forms a discrete-time dynamic system. The chaotic logistic map is a kind of ergodic map defined over the unit interval. In this paper we study the limiting behaviors on the several processes induced by the chaotic logistic map. We derive the law of large numbers for the process induced by the chaotic logistic map. We also derive the uniform law of large numbers for this process. When deriving the uniform law of large numbers, we study the role of bracketing of the indexed class of functions associated with the process. Then we apply the idea of DeHardt (1971) associated with the bracketing method to the process induced by the logistic map. We finally illustrate an application to Monte Carlo integration.

칠리제의 수치지도 자료와 지적현황측량 결과 비교 (Comparision of Digital Map vs Cadastral State Surveying of Chilli Reservoir)

  • Chilli reservoir is agricultural purpose reservoir made in 1945. But its bottom is covered with thick accumulated sewage layer, so its original function has failed. This study conducted cadastral state surveying to survey the state of this area prior to dredging the accumulated bottom sewage layer of Chill reservoir. Prior to cadastral state surveying we analyzed the digital map and aerial photographs of study area. In cadastral state surveying, traversed network was constructed on the road and banks near the reservoir, a surveyed map was made by surveying with Auto-reduction EDM Alidade. From the comparison results of the cadastral map and digital map, we found small chilli reservoir is expressed as rice field on the digital map, and it should be corrected. And when we make digital map and topographic map, the errors will be diminished if we use the cadastral map at the same time.

Analyses of Computation Time on Snakes and Gradient Vector Flow

  • GVF can solve two difficulties with Snakes that are on setting initial contour and have a hard time processing into boundary concavities. But GVF takes much longer computation time than the existing Snakes because of their edge map and partial derivatives. Therefore this paper analyzed the computation time between GVF and Snakes. As a simulation result, both algorithms took almost similar computation time in simple image. In real images, GVF took about two times computation than Snakes.

메모리 경합이 없는 병렬 MAP 복호 모듈 설계 (Design of Contention Free Parallel MAP Decode Module)

  • 터보 코드는 반복 복호를 하기 때문에 긴 복호시간을 필요로 한다. 고속 통신을 하기 위해서는 복호 시간을 줄여야 하며 이는 병렬 처리를 통해 해결할 수 있다. 하지만 병렬 처리 시 메모리 경합이 발생할 수 있는데 이는 복호기의 성능을 저하시킨다. 이러한 메모리 정합을 피하기 위해 2006년 QPP 인터리버가 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 QPP 인터리버에 적합하며 비교적 적은 지연 시간을 갖고 회로의 크기도 줄인 MDF 기법을 제안한다. 그리고 MDF 기법을 사용한 MAP 복호 모듈의 설계를 보인다. 구현한 복호기는 Xilinx 사의 FPGA에 타켓팅하였으며 최대 80Mbps의 처리율을 보인다.

Effect of Packaging Methods on Colour, Lipid Quality and Microbial Growth of Beef Patties Enhanced with Flaxseed Flour

  • In this study, the effect of packaging methods [aerobic packaging (AP), vacuum packaging (VP) and modified atmosphere packaging (MAP: 75% $N_2$, 25% $CO_2$)] on colour, lipid quality and microbial growth of beef patties enhanced with flaxseed flour was investigated during storage at $2{\pm}1^{\circ}C$ for 10 d. L and a values of beef patties packaged in MAP and VP were higher (p<0.05) than that of the samples packaged in AP. Packaging in MAP and VP retarded the lipid oxidation (TBA value) and inhibited the bacterial growth of beef patties enhanced with flaxseed flour. Furthermore, TBA values in beef patties were correlated with a values (r = -0.340; p<0.05). Packaging in MAP was more effective than packaging in VP for inhibiting microbial growth. The samples packaged in VP lost their shape due to the compression by external atmosphere. Packaging treatment had no significant effect on saturated fatty acid (SFA), monounsaturated fatty acid (MUFA) and polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) levels in beef patties. The a and b, TBA and MUFA values changed during storage time. TBA values for beef patties increased during storage time, but did not reach to the limit value (1 mg/kg) until the end of the storage time. The results suggest that the shelf life of beef patties enhanced with flaxseed flour can be extended by packaging in MAP.
