  • In order to develop leisure activity programs, the responses of 900 middle and high school students to a questionnaire survey were analyzed. Between May 7 and May 21, 2007. we routinely interviewed adolescent (middle and high school) students from Daegu City. After initial screening, the responses of 874 students were used for statistical and descriptive analysis. The findings were as follows: 1) Respondents indicated the highest preference for 9-leisure activity programs, with physical training rating the highest. 2) Adolescent requirement for leisure activity programs varied according to demographic factors; sex, age, religion, family living standards level, monthly average allowance. 3) Adolescent requirement for leisure activity programs varied according to value disposition patterns; materialism and job achievement-oriented value disposition, human relationship-oriented value disposition, enjoyment-oriented value disposition. 4) Adolescent requirement for leisure activity programs varied according to leisure-constrains factors; social constrains, individual and time constrains, family constrains, economic constrains.

  • This study introduces the system dynamics model that simulate total operational availability when 10 equipments made of 3 major components are serviced under the constrains of the maintenance capacity level and the number of spare parts. This simulation is designed on the base of reliability engineering concept so failures of components happens with the rule of engineering factors like the mean time between failure(MTBF) of component and the next failure time of one component is effected by the conditions of other components. We analysed availability of 10 equipments under 121 constrains and executed multiple regression analysis with the simulation result. The analysis provide the managerial insight in the service fields with operation many equipments.

  • In this paper, study the substantial issues which occurs upon free flight environment by performing separation assurance under multiple conflict(over 3 Aircraft), recovery en route under the terms of time constrains and fixed way point after the conflict avoidance, correlations between conflict detection distance and separation assurance by utilizing Autonomous flight algorithm. Result of this experiment demonstrates that the extension of detection distance is advantageous to solution of separation assurance and enhancing of flight efficiency, choose to maneuver by applying time constrain terms and fixed way point according to the situation of conflict prediction in case of recovery maneuver after the conflict avoidance. And separation assurance can be solved by applying 2 degrees or more of bank angle. When choosing the optimal bank angle could be drastically improved flight efficiency.

  • This paper analysis the Dynamic Time Warping algorithms for time normalization of speech pattern and discusses the Dynamic Programming algorithm for spoken Korean isolated digits recognition. In the DP matching, feature vectors of the reference and test pattern are consisted of first three formant frequencies extracted by power spectrum density estimation algorithm of the ARMA model. The major differences in the various DTW algorithms include the global path constrains, the local continuity constraints on the path, and the distance weighting/normalization used to give the overall minimum distance. The performance criterias to evaluate these DP algorithms are memory requirement, speed of implementation, and recognition accuracy.

  • In this paper, missile homing guidance laws to control the impact angle and time are proposed based on the polynomial function. To derive the guidance commands, we first assume that the acceleration command profile can be represented as a polynomial function with unknown coefficients. After that, the unknown coefficients are determined to achieve the given terminal constrains. Using the determined coefficients, we can finally obtain the state feedback guidance command. The suggested approach to design the guidance laws is simple and provides the more generalized optimal solutions of the impact angle and time control guidance.

  • In this paper, inverse constrained minimum spanning tree problem under Hamming distance. Such an inverse problem is to modify the weights with bound constrains so that a given feasible solution becomes an optimal solution, and the deviation of the weights, measured by the weighted Hamming distance, is minimum. We present a strongly polynomial time algorithm to solve the inverse constrained minimum spanning tree problem under Hamming distance.

  • In this thesis, based on Genetic Algorithm, a new route search algorithm is presented to search an optimal route between the origin and the destination in intelligent route guidance systems in order to minimize the route traveling time. The proposed algorithm is effectively employed to complex road networks which have diverse turn constrains, time-delay constraints due to cross signals, and stochastic traffic volume. The algorithm is also shown to significantly promote search efficiency by changing the population size of path individuals that exist in each generation through the concept of age and lifetime to each path individual. A virtual road-traffic network with various turn constraints and traffic volume is simulated, where the suggested algorithm promptly produces not only an optimal route to minimize the route cost but also the estimated travel time for any pair of the origin and the destination, while effectively avoiding turn constraints and traffic jam.

  • For a complex scheduling system like time table construction, its optimal solution, if exists, is hard to obtain. In this paper, the scheduling environment is reasonably confined as where objects have their own events competing for better slots on boards, and objects have their own board slot preferences and belong to one or more classes of the society which globally constrains them. Here, two phase method is suggested, where the first phase is human-like preference driven and the second phase is for fine tuning by considering all the factors given. Designed and implemented in our system HI-SCHED are dynamic object switching, temporal-constraint-driven intelligent backtracking, case-based revisions, object-based approach, and so on. Some satisfaction degrees are also defined to measure the usefulness of our method. In addition, look-ahead dynamic object switching is considered, and additional global constraints are introduced and processed. A simple scheme is also used to verify the usefulness of the post processing scheme.

But, autonomous vehicle is one of the difficult topics from the point of view of several constrains on mobility, speed of vehicle and lack of environment information. Therefore, we are application of the vision system so that autonomous vehicle. Vision system of autonomous vehicle is likely to eyes of human. This paper can be divided into 2 parts. First, acceleration system and brake control system for longitudinal motion control. Second vision system of real time lane detection is for lateral motion control. This part deals lane detection method and image processing method. Finally, this paper focus on the integration of tole-operating vehicle and autonomous ...

  • Silica aerogels are attracting attention due to certain outstanding properties such as low bulk density, low thermal conductivity, high surface area, high porosity, high transparency and flexibility. Due to these extraordinary properties of aerogels, they have become a promising candidate in thermal superinsulation. The silica-based aerogels are brittle in nature, which constrains their large scale-application. It is necessary to achieve transparency and flexibility of silica-based aerogels at the same time and with the same porous structure for optical field applications. Therefore, the present review focuses on the different sol-gel synthesis parameters and precursors in the synthesis of flexible as well as transparent silica aerogels. Also, a brief overview of reported flexible and transparent aerogels with some important properties and applications is provided.
