In this paper, the LQG/LTR design method is applied of the third order linear time invariant plant model which is the SISO turret-gun servo-mechanism. The dynamic characteristics and the performance of the LQG/LTR controller are analyzed by the computer simulation, and compared with those of PID controller which has been already applied to the turret servomechanism under the sane design specifications.

In this paper, a robust nonlinear echo cancellation is proposed, where a third-order adaptive Volterra filtering is employed along with an expanded correlation LMS (ECLMS) algorithm to compensate for nonlinear distortion in the echo path. (e.g., DAC of the hybrid network). Finally, the robustness in the echo cancellation of the proposed approach is demonstrated using computer simulations, where high attenuation of echo signals is achieved even in the double-talk situation (e.n., BdB improvement in ERLE).

Robust fuzzy logic control, PID control, and sliding mode controllers are designed to control the speed of a third order linear time-invariant model of a motor. The step response performance of each controller, applied to the motor plant, is Presented. We conclude fuzzy logic control can be a useful tool for the control engineering.

본 논문에서는 한국어 구문 분석을 위해 3차 의존 파싱 방법을 적용한 성능 결과를 제시한다. 3차 의존 파싱에서는 조부모 (grandparent) 노드 정보까지 참조함으로써 2차 자질의 한계를 넘어 보다 복잡하고 다양한 자질을 고려할 수 있다. 실험 결과 3차 의존 파싱은 기존의 2차 한국어 의존 파싱의 성능을 향상시켰다.

비선형 감수율은, 비선형 광학 현상을 기술하는 중요한 특성값으로서, 비선형 광학 연구가 시작된 이래 지속적으로 많은 관심을 받아 왔다. 그러나 연구의 주된 범위가 2차 비선형 감수율 $\chi$$^{(2)}$ 와 그 응용에 집중되어 왔으며, 고차 비선형 감수율이 큰 물질의 부족으로 인해, 고차 비선형 광학 효과를 얻기 위하여 직접적인 고차 과정을 이용하기 보다 그림 1(a)와 같이 2차 비선형 광학 효과의 연속적인 과정을 통해 구현하는 방법이 선호되어, 비선형 감수율의 일반적인 특성에 대해서는 충분한 이해가 이루어지지 못하였다. This study was carried out in order to investigate the relationship roundness of fly ashes and fluidity of fly ash cement paste. electrostatic precipitator system in coal-fired power plant have many successive collection fields in the direction of flue gas travel. In experiment, the roundness of fly ashes collected from the same location had similar values regardless of the load or boiler, and they increased going from the 1st collection filed to third collection filed in the direction of gas movement. In considering the relation between roundness of fly ashes and fluidity of fly ash cement paste, it has a high correlation.

We present uniform and L_p left Caputo-Bochner abstract iterated fractional Landau inequalities over ℝ₊. These estimate the size of second and third iterated left abstract fractional derivates of a Banach space valued function over ℝ₊. We give an application when the basic fractional order is ${\frac{1}{2}}$.

Given a random sample of size N (unknown) with density f(x│$\theta$), suppose that only n observations which lie outside a region r are recorded. On the basis of n observation, the Bayes estimators of $\theta$ and N are considered and their asymptotic expansions are developed to find the third order asymptotic properties with those of the maximum likelihood estimators and the Bayes modal estimators. The asymptotic m.s.e.'s of these estimators are expressed. An example is given to illustrate the results obtained.

In this paper, switched-capacitor building block presented which are suitable for implementation in GaAs MESFET technology. They include a current source, a gain stage, and an operational amplifier. Switched-capacitor design techniques are discussed that minimize filter sentsitivity to finite gain of the GaAs operational amplifier. Simulation results are presented on third-order elliptic lowpass ladder filter at a sampling rate of 5GHz.
