  • A theme park runs various programs to provide users entertainments. Among the programs of the theme park, amusement facilities are the most favorite ones used by the users. However, Since the waiting time of the amusement facilities becomes increasing due to the large number of the users, the satisfaction of the users is diminished heavily, To solve this problem, we propose a reservation system for amusement facility using near field communication. In the proposed system, a server appends the user to the waiting queue of the amusement facility when an user contacts the reader of an amusement facility using NFC, If an clock approaches to the time that the user will exploit the amusement facility, the server notifies to the user. The implemented reservation system has the benefit to provide the user chances to exploit other programs during the waiting time.

  • Current international negotiation and cooperation for sustainable development are focused on three main themes. The first theme is implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The second theme is development of measures for climate change. The third theme is sustainable management of biodiversity and ecosystem services. In South Korea, responses of government policies and academic studies have been predominantly to one of these three themes. There have not been many integrated efforts to develop countermeasures considering all three international themes. In addition, while "green growth" policies have been setting national agendas for Korea's sustainable development, they must be scrutinized such as why they have not dealt with some parts of these three themes and whether they have ignored one of these themes due to lack of integrated responses. This study finds critical issues in South Korea on how to harmoniously respond to the three themes of international efforts and improve green growth policies. First, to achieve SDGs, the domestic statistical system must be reorganized to track the achievement of "inclusiveness" and "green growth". Second, the climate change response policy should seek inclusion between countries and between social groups. Third, in the field of biodiversity and ecosystem services, it is necessary to establish Korea's identity in global geopolitics and enhance its own traditional ecological knowledge. Fourth, it is necessary to consider how to solve discrepancy between climate change response policies and biodiversity-ecosystem service management policies. Finally, proactive improvement of laws and institutions must occur to promote inclusive green growth.

  • In recent years, as selling books on the internet becomes popular, the number of off-line bookstores are rapidly dwindling away. This change on the book market requires, the function and space of the bookstores should be defined again. Now bookstores are the places of experiences on cultures, world-views, and lifestyles around books. The study examines six large bookstores and finds three strategies of space expression as follow. First, Dominicanen bookstore in Maastricht which was built as a church has an expression which contrasts the old and the new as well as the sacred and the profane. Fangsuo bookstore in Chengdu creates a modern underground Sutra Depository. Here, people experience history and religion. Second, Cook & Book in Brussels has nine theme areas, each with a different selection of books, different interior decoration and special food and beverage like a theme park. Zhongshu bookshop in Shanghai has a lattice of nine reading rooms in which each unique design theme is characterized based on each book subject. Third, Cultura Bookstore in Sao Paulo is created to support social interchange. It leads people to the enormous plaza of books where people read books freely and participate in workshops, movies and all kinds of events. Daikanyama Tsutaya Books in Tokyo is composed of three white box-form pavilions which are connected by a 55-meter long aisle, called a magazine street. People walk along the street and choose concierge services as they browse magazines and books. The study finds out three strategies of design in current large bookstores to promote place-experience, which are the story-telling of history and culture, the design of theme parks, and openness for public mingling like plazas and streets. Thus, the study suggests a new paradigm in the design of bookstores in this internet age.

  • Ten middle-aged women who support their biological parents have been interviewed to investigate their experiences of caregiving their parents. As a qualitative research method, data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed by Colaizzi's phenomenological method. Consequently 244 meaningful sentences were selected from the collected interview data and then were sorted into 67 meaningful sentences and, consequently into 9 sub-themes. Finally four high-level themes are wrapped through the summarizing process. The first theme is motivation of caregiving. Inevitable cases are most common for caregiving their biological parents. And, general responsibilities to their parents are also deduced as a motivation of caregiving. The second theme is a psychological phenomenon of middle-aged women while they provide consistent caregiving their biological parents even though they have some troubles with their parents. The third theme is meaning of caregiving. For some women, caregiving their biological parents is their own happiness and gratitude such as lifelong gifts. The final theme is influence of caregiving. Further understanding their parents, and more distinct prospecting their future lives are unexpected fruits from the caregiving their biological parents.

  • In this paper, we propose a method of generating theme, background amd signal music usage monitoring information based on a blockchain, in which the music usage informations are recorded by the monitoring tool using feature-based filtering of monitoring organizations. Theme, background and signal music are music inserted into the broadcasting contents of broadcaster. Since they are recognized as created contents just like normal music, there are lyricists and composers who have the right for those music and all copyright holders of them have to receive the corresponding copyright fees, once the music was used in the broadcast. However, there are problems with inaccurate monitoring results for music usage, due to the omission of usage details and non-transparent settlement method. In order to solve these problems, If the information generation method proposed in this paper, accurate music usage history can be created, the details are stored in the blockchain without changes or omissions, and transparent settlement and distribution are possible by smart contract, avoiding the current non-transparent settlement method.
