The aim of this study was to investigate the recognition on the national health insurance and the actual condition of denture among the elderly in Seoul city. This survey was performed on 710 of the elderly aged over 60 years and visited the senior welfare centers. The recognition of the elderly on the national health insurance of denture was 61.7%, but there was a low recognition on the details. The elderly had started using dentures from 66.24 years old. The average used period of the past denture was 7.09 years. In conclusions, the provider is required to promote the insurance coverage of denture to increase the coefficient of utilization of the elderly. Also, further studies for the extending coverage of the details are needed.

Currently, as Korea enters into a fast aging society, the problem of dementia population is increasing. In this paper, we intend to contribute to the improvement of welfare for the elderly by developing virtual reality technology and related interface technology to effectively perform hand movements known as effective methods for preventing and treating dementia. As the content of the research and development of this paper, it is designed to be easy for the elderly to use and stimulate brain function by applying VR technology using sensors, and to activate mental and physical activities for the elderly who are marginalized in terms of cultural welfare. We intend to develop by classifying the types of games and contents that can induce them. As a result of this thesis, we developed contents using virtual reality to improve cognitive abilities for elderly people with poor cognitive ability to activate the brains of users' cognition, memory, and attention to prevent and treat dementia I want to contribute.

The purposes of this study were to estimate the work measurement by the work sampling methodology. The results of the study were summarized as follows; The percentage of labor activities based on the analysis of work sampling were as follows; 1) In the A welfare facilities for the elderly, direct work function, indirect work function and delay were 68.28%, 8.73%, 22.99%, respectively. 2) In the B welfare facilities for the elderly, direct work function, indirect work function and delay were 70.04%, 9.42%, 20.54%, respectively.

The purposes of study were to analyze the characteristics of case management network for the homebound elderly in Puchon and to identify major factors that affect the number of network member. The population of this study was social workers who provide services to the elderly. The results show that license of social work and information closeness have a significant effect on the number of network member among the independent variables. This finding is important for case management in the network. As observed in relationship characteristics, the community welfare center established by the university and city government roles in promoting service coordination.

본 연구는 4차 산업혁명시대와 고령사회를 맞아 노인생활체육 진흥을 위해 운동재활분야의 현주소를 파악하여 노인들의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 활성화 방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 문헌연구방법을 통해 노인생활체육 활동 및 관련 운동재활분야의 실태를 분석하고 노인보건복지와 노인생활체육 사업의 분석, 그리고 노인생활체육 진흥을 위한 운동재활분야의 활성화 방안을 제시하였다. 첫째, 노인들의 생활체육 참여 유인 홍보 시 운동재활의 필요성과 중요성의 인식과 홍보를 강화해야 한다. 둘째, 노인여가복지시설 등에 노인스포츠지도사를 의무적으로 배치하여 사회복지사와의 협업으로 효율적인 노인건강지도 관리에 전문성을 강화시켜야 한다. 셋째, 대학의 생활체육학과, 노인체육복지학과 및 실버복지스포츠학부 등 교육과정에 운동재활 및 유사과목을 이수하도록 하며, 노인여가복지시설 등의 자원봉사활동 과목도 이수하도로 하여 진로선택의 기회를 제공해야 한다. 넷째, 문화체육관광부와 보건복지부와의 협업을 통해 노인복지관, 경로당, 노인교실 등 특성화된 운동재활프로그램의 개발과 함께 운동종목 능력과 운동재활능력을 겸비한 전문가를 순회강사로 활용하여 정부의 일자리 창출 정책에 이바지해야 한다. 다섯째, 노인생활체육에 필요한 연구개발에 투자를 확대한다. 여섯째, 노인대상의 혼자서 할 수 있는 다양한 운동재활치료 동영상과 지침서를 개발하여 배포한다. 이는 다섯 번째와 연계된 내용이며, 특히, 코로나19 관련 긴급히 대비책을 강구해야 할 것이다. 일곱째, 문화체육관광부와 보건복지부의 조정된 노인체육진흥 기구신설을 통해 이중적 업무에 따른 비효율성과 예산낭비를 줄여야 하며, 기구신설의 기능을 확대하여 은퇴 후 건강관리, 운동재활, 안전사고 예방, 바이러스 등 교육부분도 강화해야 할 것이다.

본 연구는 인구학적 특성, 사회경제적 특성, 건강위험행동, 가족관계 만족도가 우리나라 노인 인구 집단의 건강 수준 차이에 미치는 요인을 찾고자 한다. 본 연구를 위해 한국복지패널조사 3차 조사(2008년)의 65세 이상 가구를 추출하여 다중회귀분석을 이용하여 건강 수준 차이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보도록 한다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인의 정신 건강 수준을 가늠하는 지표로서 우울감에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대해 보면, 교육 수준이 낮을수록, 소득이 적을수록, 음주를 하지 않을수록, 가족관계 만족도가 낮을수록 노인의 우울감이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 노인의 주관적 건강상태에 미치는 요인을 보면, 교육 수준이 낮을수록, 소득이 적을수록, 음주를 하지 않을수록, 가족관계 만족도가 낮을수록 주관적 건강상태가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또 가족관계 가운데서도 노인의 배우자와의 관계, 노인의 자녀와의 만족도는 우울감과 주관적 건강상태에 영향을 미쳤다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 제언을 할 수 있다. 첫째, 건강 수준의 취약집단인 여성노인을 위한 특화된 정책이 필요하다. 둘째, 건강 수준이 낮은 저소득, 저학력 노인 집단의 건강 수준을 끌어올리기 위한 특화된 정책이 필요하다. 셋째, 노인들의 건강에 영향을 미치는 가정생활 만족도를 높이기 위한 새로운 접근이 요구된다.

The pre-elderly approaching old age in our society confront having a harsh economic status. The main purpose of this study was to explore the factors influencing the preparation of the pre-elderly for overcoming this status. In particular, it focused on financially stable pre-elderly persons. The data from the 2008 Chungcheongnam-do Welfare Plan for Five Years collected by the Chungnam Women's Policy Development Institute was used to analyze the research questions. The participants in this study included 735 persons (ages 55-64) living in Chungcheongnam-do. Five hundred and eighty-one self-reported questionnaires were used for the final analysis using SAS, version 9.1. This study attempted to identify the important variables needed to find the factors related to socio-demographic and economic characteristics, the adult-child relationship, the preparation plan for old age, etc. The results showed that job and health status were key to preparation for financial stability among the elderly. Another finding was the importance of concrete financial planning for the elderly; that is to say, the pre-elderly who made more concrete plans than indefinite ones were likely to belong to stable households. Another significant finding was that it is important to consider both objective and subjective factors for the financial preparation of the elderly. These results should serve as reference data for the future welfare policy for the elderly, because the financial independence of the elderly will be vital for a healthy relationship between new and old generations.

At the moment many welfare complexes are being constructed in Korea as the welfare demand of contemporary society increases. However, there are a few useful guidelines for the planning of the welfare complexes. So it is not easy for the local governments to work out the proper plan for the construction of welfare complexes for their own. This study has been started in order to provide basic informations for the planning of Korean welfare complexes. The result of this study can be summarized into two points. The first one is that 8 welfare services (elderly, women, children, nursery, adolescence, handicapped, health care, public support) are necessary in general welfare complexes in local governments. The second one is that 4 welfare zones are desirable for the planning of welfare complexes. For example, the 1st zone is consist of welfare services for the adolescence, women and children, the 2nd zone for the elderly, handicapped, the 3rd zone for the public support and the 4th zone for the health care.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the way of housing DB construction about the elderly people. Documentary research and content analysis methods were used in this study. The major results of this study are as follows. The number of elderly household is increasing very rapidly. Especially they consist of single or coupled family. They want to live in detached house and aging in place. But social welfare system is not enough to satisfy their needs. So, it is need that systematic social support or welfare system to reflect their needs. For example, related works of housing welfare for them are prepared that their data base system as socio-demographic characteristics and living conditions.

Purpose - The purpose of the study was to investigate the financial difficulty of the elderly in each income group and to examine the factors having related influence. The study adopted models with Korean welfare panel material and examined factors that having influence upon low income elderly's selection on retail business. Research design, data, and methodology - The study investigated the effects having influence upon the financial difficulty of elderly household as well as common household. It also examined independence variables having influence upon household's financial stress and found out the direction of financial control in elderly household. The study investigated the effect of financial stress upon economy to support consumption of the elderly. Results - In cases of financial difficulties, independent variables of the debt increased the financial difficulties of elderly households relying upon traditional markets. The elderly households had financial difficulties because of independent variables of the debt except for loan from financial institution. Conclusions - In this study, the elderly's financial stress had influence upon the use of retail business and the characteristics of residing and family. Further study shall give support policies for the elderly to alleviate financial burden.
