Formal Changes and Features of Japanese Private Documentaries Since the 1990s (1990년대 이후 일본 사적(私的) 다큐멘터리의 양식적 변화와 특징)

  • As movies entered the digital age, they quickly changed from group creation to individual creation. In particular, documentary films began to produce diverse and excellent works while dealing with extremely personal subjects and themes rather than heavy subjects. Especially in the 1990s, when the digital era began in earnest, Japan began to shift away from heavy political and social topics from documentaries to extremely personal subjects, and the subject matter became very diverse. In this paper, we would like to examine the concept, type, and characteristics of private documentaries that emerged as new forms of documentaries following the advent of the full-fledged digital era since the 90s, citing concrete examples of representative private documentary works since the 90s in Japan.

  • The Korean hospitals have been changed a lot from 1970's to 1990's, not only in their space allocation but also in their functions. These changes were affected by the medical development, social atmosphere, increasing population, needs of medical demands, and so on. In this study, we compared net area allocation involve in these affect of hospitals which were built in 1970's, 80's, and 90's, and through this comparison, we analyzed developing tendencies of hospitals. In doing so, we tried to provide basic research data for planning of new hospital buildings.

A Method of Function-word Recognition by Relative Frequency (상대빈도를 이용한 문법형태소의 인식 방법)

  • It is expected that some Josa/Eomi's are frequently used and others are not in the Korean documents. In this paper. we confirm it through the experiment and show that such information is very useful for Korean language processing. In case of Josa. most frequent 9 Josa's occupied 70% of total Josa's and 20. 32. 69 Josa's occupied 90%. 95%. and 99% respectively. Similarly, most frequent 10 numbers of Eomi's occupied 70% of total Eomi's and 33. 54. 117 Eomi's occupied 90%. 95%. and 99% respectively. We propose a dictionary construction method for Josa/Eomi dictionary that is classified by the frequency information. Furthermore. Josa/Eomi frequency results are very useful for the identification of unregistered morphemes and the disambiguation of lexical ambiguities.

Effect of Powder of Stevia rebaudiana Leaves against Quality Characteristics during Salting of Rice Bran Danmooji (쌀겨단무지의 절임 중 품질 특성의 변화에 대한 스테비아 잎 분말 첨가의 영향)

  • In order to develop a new rice bran danmooji, changes in physicochemical characteristics and texture of danmooji treated with rice bran, Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni leaf powder, succinic acid, or yeast extract were investigated during salting for 90 days. The PH of rice bran danmooji decreased from PH6.41 initially to pH 4.09 (control group), pH 4.10 (S. rebaudiana treatment S1), pH 3.84 (S. rebaudiana + succinic acid treatment S2), and pH 3.90 (S. rebaudiana+succinic acid+yeast extract treatment S3) after 90 days of salting. At this time, the salinities of rice bran danmooji of the S1, S52, and S3 groups were 2.32%, 1.94% and 2.15% respectively. The hardness of all groups decreased rapidly in the first 30 days of salting, and thereafter showed no changes. After 90 days of salting, the hardness of all groups was $1,186-1,368\;g/cm^2$ with no significant differences between groups. Redness, the a value, of the S2 and S3 groups treated with succinic acid, was lower than that of S3, whereas yellowness, the b value, of S3 treated with succinic acid and yeast extract was the highest of the three groups. Sensory evaluation of rice bran danmooji after 90 days of salting resulted in S3 attaining the highest scores for flavor, taste, texture, and overall acceptability. These results indicate nut high-quality rice bran danmooji may be prepared by addition of S. rebaudiana leaf powder, succinic acid and yeast extract to rice bran.

The Cosmetics Consumption Behavior Related to Aesthetic Consciousness in Post-80s, 90s Generation in Xi'an (시안의 80후, 90후 세대 여성의 미의식에 따른 화장행동 연구)

  • For a further understanding of the Chinese consumer, this study investigated 1) the effects of aesthetic consciousness on make-up attitude, and 2) the differences in the effect of aesthetics consciousness on make-up attitude among age groups. An online survey was conducted on female consumers belonging to the post-80s and 90s generations, living in Xian China. SPSS 24.0 and Amos 18.0 was used for data analysis. Confirmatory factor analysis for the research variables were performed and three factors of aesthetic consciousness (social relations consideration, internal consideration, and external consideration), and four factors of make-up attitude (psychological pleasure, self-satisfaction, consciousness of others, and tool of transformation) were identified. The results from the model test were : 1) aesthetics consciousness was found to vary depending on make-up attitude. Social relations consideration had a positive effects on psychological pleasure, self-satisfaction, and tool of transformation. Internal consideration had a positive effect on self-satisfaction and tool of transformation, and a negative effect on psychological pleasure. External consideration had positive effects on all four factors of make-up attitude. 2) In the post-80s participants, social relations consideration and external consideration had positive effects on all four factors of make-up attitude. Internal consideration s had a negative effect on consciousness of others and a positive effect on tool of transformation. In the post-90s participants, social relations consideration had positive effects on psychological pleasure, self-satisfaction, and tool of transformation. Internal consideration had positive effects on psychological pleasure and self-satisfaction.

Preliminary Study on Rapid Measurement of Gross Alpha/Beta and 90Sr Activities in Surface Soil by Mobile ZnS(Ag)/PTV Array and Handheld PVT Rod with Gated Energy Channels

  • Background: Surface soil radiation monitoring around nuclear facilities is important to classify and characterize the contaminated areas. A scanning and direct measurement technique can survey the sites rapidly before starting sampling analysis. Materials and Methods: Regarding this, we test and suggest a measurement technique for gross alpha/beta and 90Sr activities in surface soil based on a mobile ZnS(Ag)/PVT (polyvinyltoluene) array and a handheld PVT rod, respectively. To detect 90Sr selectively in soil mixed with naturally occurring radioactive materials, chosen energy channel counts from the multichannel analyzers were used instead of whole channel counts. Soil samples contaminated with exempt liquid 90Sr with 1 Bq·g-1, 3 Bq·g-1, and 10 Bq·g-1 were prepared and hardened by flocculation. Results and Discussion: The mobile ZnS(Ag)/PVT array could discriminate gross alpha, gross beta, and gamma radiation by the different pulse-shaped signal features of each sensor material. If the array is deployed on a vehicle, the scan minimum detectable concentration (MDC) range will be about 0.11-0.17 Bq·g-1 at 18 km·h-1 speed, highly sensitive to actual sites. The handheld PVT rod with 12 mm (Φ) × 20 mm (H) size can directly measure 90Sr selectively if channels on which energies are from 1,470 and 2,279 keV are gated, minimizing crossdetection of other radionuclides. These methods were verified by measuring soil samples fabricated with homogeneous 90Sr concentrations, showing static MDC of 2.16 Bq·g-1 at a measurement time of 300 seconds. Conclusion: Based on the results, comprehensive procedures using these detectors are suggested to optimize soil sites survey.

Effects of Stacking Sequence on the Application of the Single Specimen Technique to CLS Specimen (단일시편방법의 CLS 시편 적용시 적층성이 미치는 영향)

  • The work factor approach, so-called single specimen technique could be used to determine energy release rate from a single test record for unidirectional CLS specimen. In the present study, the work factor approach was extended to determine the mixed-mode fracture toughness of multi-directional graphite/epoxy laminated composites. Multi-directional CLS specimens were used for fracture tests. The stacking sequences used for the lap and the strap were $[90_2/0_2]_s/[0_4/90_4]_s$ and $[0/\pm45/0]_s/[0_2/\pm45_2/0_2]_2$, respectively. For both cases, the fracture toughness determined from the work factor approach was compared with that determined from the compliance method. It was found that both methods produced fracture toughness within a maximum 15% difference for each stacking sequence. The fractography analysis also showed that the fiber bridging occurred for$[0/\pm45/0]_s/[0_2/\pm45_2/0_2]_2$ case while it did not occur for $[90_2/0_2]_s/[0_4/90_4]_s$ case.

Studies on the Sorption Characteristics of $^{90}Sr$ onto Granite and Tuff

  • Batch sorption experiments were carried out to investigate the sorption characteristics of $^{90}$ Sr onto domestic granite(HG) and tuff(TF) samples. The effect of three independent variables ([Sr], Vo1/Wt], [pH]) on the sorption was investigated. (Sr) played as the most significant variable for the $^{90}$ S $r^{2+}$ sorption onto HG, whereas [pH] had the greatest effect among three variables onto TF. Tuff shooed much greater sorption than granite, which ues accounted for their differences in mineralogical properties. The selectivity of $^{90}$ Sr was much lower than that of $^{l37}$Cs.s.s.

  • The impact stress and wave propagation of graphite/epoxy and glass/epoxy laminates subjected to the transverse low-velocity impact of steel balls are investigated theoretically. A plate finite element model based on Whitney and Pagano's theory for the analysis of heterogeneous and anisotropic plates taking into account of the transverse shear deformation is used for the theoretical investigation. This model is in conjuction with static contact laws. The basic element is a four-node quadrilateral with the five degrees-of-freedom per node. The reduced integration technique is used for shear locking associated with low-order function in application to thin plates. These two materials are composed of [0.deg./45.deg./0.deg./-45.deg./0.deg.]$_{2S}$ and [90.deg./45.deg./90.deg./-45.deg./90.deg.]$_{2S}$ stacking sequences and have clamped-clamped boundary conditions. Finally, the present results are compared with an existing solution and wave propagation theory and then impact stress and wave propagation phenomena are investigated.gated.
