Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship of nicotine dependence and mental health. Methods: The subjects of this study were 153 male smokers in their 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s who visited Wonmi Public Health Center. They were evaluated with Fagerstorm's test for nicotine dependence (FTND) and Symptom Checklist-90-Revision (SCL-90-R). Using the FTND score, the participants were divided into three groups; mild nicotine dependent group, moderate group and severe group. Results: In the SCL-90-R score, there were statistically significant differences in the characteristics of Somatization, Obsessive-Compulsive, Interpersonal Sensitivity, Depression, Global Severity Index (GSI) and Positive Symptom Test (PST) among the three groups. Comparing the values of FTND and the amounts of Daily Smoking to the values of Somatization, Obsessive-Compulsive, Interpersonal Sensitivity, Depression and GSI in this study resulted in positive correlations, thereby demonstrating a statistical significance. Conclusions: The above results suggest that there are significant relations between nicotine dependence and the level of mental health. These results can be used for planning the smoking cessation program and mental health promoting program based on Korean traditional medicine.

This paper examines the thermal post-buckling behaviors of graphene-reinforced metal matrix composite (GRMMC) laminated cylindrical panels which possess in-plane negative Poisson's ratio (NPR) and rest on an elastic foundation. A panel consists of GRMMC layers of piece-wise varying graphene volume fractions to obtain functionally graded (FG) patterns. Based on the MD simulation results, the GRMMCs exhibit in-plane NPR as well as temperature-dependent material properties. The governing equations for the thermal post-buckling of panels are based on the Reddy's third order shear deformation shell theory. The von Karman nonlinear strain-displacement relationship and the elastic foundation are also included. The nonlinear partial differential equations for GRMMC laminated cylindrical panels are solved by means of a singular perturbation technique in associate with a two-step perturbation approach and in the solution process the boundary layer effect is considered. The results of numerical investigations reveal that the thermal post-buckling strength for (0/90)_5T GRMMC laminated cylindrical panels can be enhanced with an FG-X pattern. The thermal post-buckling load-deflection curve of 6-layer (0/90/0)_S and (0/90)_3T panels of FG-X pattern are higher than those of 10-layer (0/90/0/90/0)_S and (0/90)_5T panels of FG-X pattern.

강구에 의한 횡방향 저속 충격을 받게 되는 복합재의 충격 응력 및 파동 전파에 관한 이론적 및 실험적 연구가 행하여 진다. 이론적 해석을 위해서는 실험적 접촉 법칙과 연계된 Whitney와 Pagano의 이론에 근거한 판 유한 요소 모델이 사용되며, 실험적 해석을 위해서는 직접적인 충격실험이 수행된다. 이러한 해석을 위한 시험편은 ［0/45/0/­45/0］$_{2s}$와 (90/45/90/­45/90)$_{2s}$ 적층 순서를 가지는 유리/에폭시 적층 복합재이며 경계 조건은 clamped-simply support이다. 결과적으로 이러한 두 해석 결과들이 비교 검토되며, 적층 복합재의 충격 응력 및 파동 전파 특성이 규명된다.명된다.

The investigate the effect of fiber orientation on the interlaminar fracture toughness of carbon fiber reinforced plastics three prepregs which are domestic products are used in this paper. Those are used for the unidirectional composites, but only one is used for the cross-ply laminate composites which is molded $[0/90]_{6s},\;[0/45]_{6s},\;and\;[0/45/90]_{4s}$. The specimens used for the mode I and mode II Tests are DCB and ENF samples are examined by scanning electron microscope(SEM). The value of $G_{IC}$ is almost same when modified three calculating methods are applied. The highest value of $G_{IC}$at crack initiation is obtained at the $[0/90]_{6s}$ interlaminar and the lowest one is at the $[0/45/90]_{4s}$ interlaminar. The highest value of $G_{IIC}$ at crack initiation, however, is obtained at the $[0/90]_{6s}$ interlaminar and the lowest one is at the $[0/45]_{6s}$. The photographs of SEM show a difference behaviour between mode I and mode II fracture surface.

A digital TV CODEC has been implemented. This CODEC uses a pulse code modulation with a resolution of 9 bits per sample and generates digital ouput at the rate of 90.194Mb/s. In this system, we aadopted a horizontal blanking control scheme to meet the contraint of 90.194Mb/s transmission rete, conswequently ontaining data compression of 9.4%, our system's performances have been measured. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influnce of Postmodernism on 90's fashion trends, and to present applications of it's inspiration to print design. 90's fashion trends represented in fashion magazines, in fashion trend reports, and in related books were anlyzed. Informations referring to two selected target markets were collected by phone interview. In 90's fashion trends, seven fashion images seemed to be influenced from Postmodernism emerged. Based on these seven fashion images, several print designs were created and developed for one domestic market and for one export market.

파프리카 수경재배용으로 사용되고 있는 암면을 대체하기 위해 개발 배지인 Phenolic foam(LC, Oasis Co.)의 물리특성에 맞는 양액공급방법을 구명하기 위해 양액공급 방법을 누적일사량 $100J{\cdot}cm^{-2}$에 주당 1회 공급량 100mL(100-100)를 대조구로 $90J{\cdot}cm^{-2}$에 주당 1회 공급량 90mL(90-90), $90J{\cdot}cm^{-2}$에 주당 1회 공급량 80mL(90-80) 등 3처리를 두고 Rockwool 배지와 함께 비교하였다. 양액공급 방법별 배액률은 100-100이 Rockwool에서 33.8%, LC에서 36.7%로 높았고 90-80이 Rockwool에서 30.4%, LC에서 33.7%로 낮았다. Rockwool 배지의 함수률과 EC는 63.6-68.9%, $4.4-5.dS{\cdot}m^{-1}$, LC 배지는 52.9-58.8%, $5.5-6.5dS{\cdot}m^{-1}$를 유지하였다. 100-100과 90-90 처리는 90-80 처리보다 생육이 촉진되어 과실이 크고 평균과중이 무거웠다. 착과수는 90-80 처리가 Rockwool 배지에서 주당 8.0개, LC 배지에서 8.3개로 가장 많았다. 상품과수는 90-90 처리가 가장 많았고 비상품 과수는 90-80 처리가 소과와 배꼽썩음과의 발생이 많아 주당 1.7-1.8개로 가장 많았다. 수량은 90-90 처리가 높았다.

The adhesive bonded single-lap joint is due to its intrinsic load eccentricity problem, severe peel stresses concentration occur at both end of the joint. In this paper, new lap-joint is designed to avoid the singular peel stress, and to compare the stresses of the middle adhesive layer between the single-lap joint and the wavy-lap joint. Two adherend lay-up, i.e., [90/0/90/0]$_{2s}$ and [0/90/0/90]$_{2s}$ were consider in the study.

Sprague Dawley rats were exposed to electric fields (6,000 V, 10 kV/m, 30 min/day, 6 days per week) and injected strontium 90 (681 kbq/rat, one time) through abdominal cavity (strontium 90 and electric field complexed exposure group). In parallel, series with the electric field exposure only, strontium 90 injection only and control groups were run. Every group was consisted of 110 rats (55 male and 55 female). This animal experiment was performed from May to December in 1993. This results were conducted to investigate the effect of electric field for 11 weeks. The results are summarized as follows: 1. Ornithine decarboxylase (ODC) activity in rat's bone marrow cells: The ODC values was significantly increased in Sr$^{90}$ injection group and Sr$^{90}$ and electric field complexed exposure group as compared with that of control group (p<0.05). The ODC value was significantly decreased in electric field and Sr$^{90}$ complexed exposure group in comparison with Sr$^{90}$ injection group (p<0.05). The ODC values of electric field only exposure group was not different to that of control group (p>0.05). 2. The amount of Sr$^{90}$ accumulation in the femur, kidney and spleen:The accumulation amount of Sr$^{90}$ in the femur of Sr$^{90}$ injection group represented higher value than that of electric field and Sr$^{90}$ complexed exposure group (p<0.05). In the kidney and spleen, the difference between electric field and Sr$^{90}$ complexed exposure group and Sr$^{90}$ injection group wasn't observed. 3. The counts of white cells in blood of Sr9?injection group was decreased as compared with the value from control group and electric field and Sr$^{90}$ complexed exposure group (p<0.05). The rat's body weight, red blood cell counts and the weight data of liver, kidney and spleen did not show differences among four groups.

식품의 기호성과 산화안정성 및 영양학적 특징을 높이기 위해 참기름과 아마인유를 혼합하여 ${\omega}$-3와 ${\omega}$-6 지방산이 균형을 이루고 안정성이 우수한 다가불포화지방산을 갖는 혼합유를 제조하여 산화 및 관능특성을 조사하였다. ${\omega}$-3와 ${\omega}$-6 지방산이 균형 잡힌 안정성이 우수한 다가불포화지방산을 갖는 혼합유의 지방산 분석 결과 아마인유 20%와 참기름 80%를 혼합하여 제조한 혼합유(F20S80)의 ${\omega}$-3와 ${\omega}$-6의 조성 비율은 각각 8.9%와 39.7%로 약 1:5의 비율을 나타내었으며, 아마인유 10%와 참기름 90%를 혼합하여 제조한 혼합유(F10S90)의 ${\omega}$-3와 ${\omega}$-6의 조성 비율은 각각 4.4%와 42.1%로 약 1:10의 비율을 나타내었다. 이들의 비율은 ${\omega}$-3와 ${\omega}$-6에 대한 영양학적 권장 비율이 1:4~10 범위에 포함되므로 건강에 유리한 혼합유임을 알 수 있었다. 혼합유의 안정성을 평가하기 위해 $20^{\circ}C$ 상온, 상대습도 70%와 $45^{\circ}C$ 가온, 70% 상대습도 저장조건에서 16주간 저장하면서 아마 인유(F100), F20S80, F10S90 및 참기름(S100)의 산가와 관능특성을 분석한 결과, F10S90 혼합유는 $20^{\circ}C$ 상온, 70% 상대습도 저장조건과 $45^{\circ}C$ 가온, 70% 상대습도 저장조건에서 16주간 저장하였을 때에 두 조건에서 모두 S100과 통계적으로 유의차가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 F10S90 혼합유는 ${\omega}$-3와 ${\omega}$-6 비율이 1:10으로 건강에 유리한 유지이며, 참기름을 선호하는 우리나라에서는 기호성 및 저장성이 우수한 기능성 혼합유로 사용하여도 좋을 것이다.
