1980년대 이후 패션일러스트레이션의 시각적 이미지 표현방법 분석(제1보) (A Study on the Expression of Visual Image in Fashion Illustration)

  • This research focuses its study on the expressions of the visual images of the fashion illustration as a part of visual art and utilizes it to formulate the theoretical basis. Main findings of our research are as follows: The structure of communications in the fashion illustration is based on the four elements. They are the expression of the texture, drawings, composition, and the human body and dress. The characteristics in expression of texture level in fashion illustration can be the expression of creative texture in pattern or crease, and also can be expressed as various collage and photomontage by computer graphics. Secondly, the analysis on the characteristics of the drawings show that the drawing skills are imagination and sequential drawings. Thirdly, the characteristics of composition method are mainly shown as the application of plane composition which was previously used in avant-garde arts. Fourthly, most of the human body in the fashion illustrations are shown as the results of simplification, exaggeration and deformation in human body and also expressed or analyzed by the method of the body modification. Based on the above findings of this research we conclude that the way of expression in the fashion illustration is very similar in its composition as in visual art. However, they also show differences between the two in expression method or the method for the image development in specific expressions.

패션에 나타난 감성과 감정의 조형적 특성 연구 (Formative Properties of Sensibility and Emotion in Fashion)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide effective design strategy and distinguish productions for the consumer's emotion satisfaction by analyzing formative properties of fashion sensibility and emotion. 54 photos of contemporary costume have been selected which represented the Izard' DES. The questionnaire consisted of bi-polar 25 pairs adjective scale of fashion sensibility and the 18 noun scale of emotion was distributed to 970 male and female living in Pusan area. The data were analyzed by GLM using the statistic SPSS package. The major findings of this research were as follows. 1. In the clothing formative properties following fashion sensibilities, aestheticism shows significant differences in the silhouette and texture, maturity in the silhouette and color, character in the texture and decoration and feminity in the pattern and color. 2. In the clothing formative properties following emotions, negative emotion shows significant differences in the pattern and silhouette, distressㆍfear in the silhouette and pattern, arousal in the texture and color, shame in the color and texture and enjoyment in the silhouette and pattern. 3. In the fashion sensibility and emotion following clothing formative properties, each formative property shows differences in fashion sensibility and emotion. This study result will be utilized in the clothing design development in special usage like theatrical costume, discriminated display and advertisement stratge.

  • We fabricated Ni and Ni-W alloys for use as a substrate in YBCO coated conductor applications and evaluated the effect of W in Ni on texture, microstructure and surface morphology, and hardness of substrate. Pure Ni, Ni-2 at.%W, and Ni-5at.%W alloy substrates were prepared by plasma arc melting, cold rolling, and the recrystallization heat treatment at various temperature (700- 130$0^{\circ}C$). It was observed that Ni-W alloy substrates had stronger cube texture and maintained it at higher annealing temperature, compared to pure Ni substrate : The full-width at half- maximums of in-plane texture was 13.40$^{\circ}$ for Ni substrate and 4.42$^{\circ}$-5.57$^{\circ}$ for Ni-W substrate annealed at 100$0^{\circ}C$. In addition, it was observed that the Ni-W substrate had smaller grain size, shallower boundary depth, and higher hardness, compared to those of pure Ni substrate.

  • Biaxially textured Ni tapes were fabricated by a cold working and recrystallization heat treatment processes from powder compact rods. The processing parameters associated with the cube texture formation in Ni tapes were systematically investigated by using X-ray diffraction and pole-figure analysis. The Ni powder used in this study was 5 $\mu$m in size and 99.99% in purity. To find the optimum sintering temperature, tensile tests were performed for Ni rods sintered at various temperatures. The Ni rods sintered at 100$0^{\circ}C$ showed poor elongation and low fracture strength, while the Wi rods sintered above 100$0^{\circ}C$ revealed good mechanical properties. The higher elongation and fracture strength of the Ni rods sintered at higher temperatures than 100$0^{\circ}C$ are attributed to the full densification of the sintered rods. The sintered Ni rods were cold-rolled with 5% reduction to the final thickness of 100 $\mu$m and then annealed for development of rube texture in rolled Ni tapes. The annealed Ni tapes depicted strong cube texture with FWHM(full-width at half-maximum) of in-plane and out-of-plane in the range of 8$^{\circ}$ to 10$^{\circ}$. The NiO deposited on the Ni tapes by MOCVD process showed good epitaxy with FWHM=10$^{\circ}$, which indicates that the Ni tapes can be used as a substrate for YBCO coated conductors.

열간 비대칭 압연한 AA3003 판재의 집합조직과 소성변형비 변화 (Texture and Plastic Strain Ratio Changes of Hot Asymmetrically Rolled AA3003 Sheet)

  • The plastic strain ratio is one of the factors of the deep drawability of metal sheets. The plastic strain ratio of Al sheet is low value. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the plastic strain ratio in order to improve the deep draw ability of the Al sheet. This study investigated the increase of the plastic strain ratio and the texture change of AA3003 sheet after the hot asymmetric rolling. The average plastic strain ratio of the initial AA3003 sheets was 0.69. After 83% hot asymmetric rolling at $200^{\circ}C$, the average plastic strain ratio was 0.83. The average plastic strain ratio of the 83% hot asymmetrically rolled AA3003 sheet at $200^{\circ}C$ is 1.2 times higher than that of the initial AA3003 sheet. The ${\mid}{\Delta}R{\mid}$ of 83% hot asymmetrically rolled AA3003 sheet at $200^{\circ}C$ is 0.83 times lower than that of the initial AA3003 sheet. This result is due to the development of the intensity of ${\gamma}-fiber$ texture and reduces the intensity of {001}<110> and {001}<100> textures after hot asymmetric rolling of AA3003 sheet.

  • Korea has entered into an aged-society in 2018. If this trend continues to increase, it is expected that a super-aging society will take place by 2026. Therefore, Korea is placed in the situation of becoming the world's fastest aging nation as it becomes a super-aging society from an aged-society in twenty-six years. In order to provide an effective supply of nutrition for the socially weak, Japan developed a variety of foods with food texture improvements. Germany improved accessibility for meal service development. Senior-friendly food is a softened food or a highly concentrated drink, which is considered a texture-modified food, for the elderly with eating disorders to digest food more easily by making food particles smaller. Varying food processing techniques such as freeze-thawing enzyme impregnation, high-pressure processing, super-heated steam processing, 3D food print, and others used to produce texture-modified foods.

  • 셀룰로오스계 레이온섬유 또는 레이온직물은 좁은 온도범위의 안정화공정 동안에 열분해가 매우 빠르게 진행된다. 그러므로 레이온계 탄소섬유를 제조하는데 있어 안정화단계는 매우 중요한 핵심공정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 셀룰로오스계 레이온직물의 중량감소, 화학조성, 미세구조 및 texture 변화에 미치는 등온 안정화공정과 초음파세척의 영향을 조사하였다. $200{\sim}240^{\circ}C$ 영역에서 행한 등온 안정화공정의 온도는 레이온직물을 안정화 소요시간, 탄소함량, 산소함량, 셀룰로오스 구조 변화 그리고 직물 texture에 큰 영향을 주었다. 등온 안정화공정 전에 물을 이용한 초음파세척은 레이온직물의 안정화공정 시간을 단축하고, 안정화 후 직물의 탄소함량을 증가하고, 산소함량을 감소시키며, XRD 분석 패턴을 변화시키는데 역할을 하는 것으로 조사되었다. 또한 초음파세척은 등온 안정화공정시 발생하는 레이온직물의 빠른 중량감소 현상을 더디게 하고, 열수축을 감소시켜, 직물의 급격한 물리적 변화의 완화에도 기여하는 것으로 사료된다.

반응표면 분석법을 이용한 노화쌀가루첨가 흑임자 튀일 레시피의 최적화 (Optimization of Recipe for Black Sesame Tuile Containing Retrograded Rice Flour using Response Surface Methodology)

  • Tuile containing retrograded rice and black sesame was developed by optimization of the mixing rate of retrograded rice and egg white using response surface methodology. Nine samples of design points were obtained according to central composite design, and the optimal mixing rate of retrograded rice flour and egg white as independent variables was calculated with the sensory score, color, and texture as response variables. Nine samples of the experimental group and no added retrograded rice flour Tuile were also compared in terms of sensory properties, color and texture. According to the results, the optimal mixing rate of black sesame Tuile was 8.6 g of retrograded rice and 33.5 g of egg white. Regression analysis of the response showed that retrograded rice flour and egg white had effect on the color and texture of black sesame Tuile, with egg white more influential rather than retrograded rice. In a comparison of quality between retrograded rice flour added Tuile and no retrograded rice flour Tuile, lightness ($p$<0.05), hardness ($p$<0.001) and fracturability ($p$<0.001) of retrograded rice flour added Tuile was better than those of the other sample, and sensory quality in terms of color ($p$<0.01), taste ($p$<0.001), texture ($p$<0.01) were more excellent as well.

국내 다소비 횟감의 콜라겐과 조직감 특성 (Collagen and Texture Properties of Commonly Consumed Fish Species in Korea as Sliced Raw Fishes)

  • This study investigated the collagen and texture properties of commonly consumed sliced raw fish species (CC-SRF) [olive flounder (OF), red seabream (RS), Atlantic salmon (AS), coho salmon (CoS) and sockeye salmon (SS)] distributed in Korea as sliced raw fishes. The crude lipid contents of CC-SRF were 5.5% for OF, 6.8% for RS, 18.5% for AS, 16.1% for CoS, and 5.7% for SS. The collagen content and solubility from CC-SRF were 622 mg/100 g and 78.0%, respectively, in OF, 270 mg/100 g and 75.6%, respectively, in RS, 237 mg/100 g and 24.1%, respectively, in AS, 341 mg/100 g and 65.7%, respectively, in CoS, and 246 mg/100 g and 17.9%, respectively, in SS. The texture of CC-SRF was affected by the lipid content, collagen content, acid solubility, hydroxylation, and cross linkage degree. The highest hardness of CC-SRF was obtained from OF, followed by RS, SS, AS and CoS. There was, however, no difference (P>0.05) in hardness between OF and RS and between AS and CoS.

THE LASER-BASED AGGREGATE SCANNING SYSTEM: CURRENT CAPABILITIES AND POTENTIAL DEVELOPMENTS

  • An automated system for scanning and characterizing unbound aggregates, called the 'Laser-based Aggregate Scanning System'(LASS), has been developed at the University of Texas at Austin. The system uses a laser profiler to acquire and analyze true three-dimensional data on aggregate particles to measure various morphological properties. Tests have demonstrated that the system can rapidly and accurately measure grain size distribution and dimensional ratios, and can objectively quantify particle shape, angularity, and texture in a size invariant manner. In its present state of development, the LASS machine is a first-generation, laboratory testing device. With additional development, this technology is expected to provide high-quality, detailed information for laboratory and on-line quality control during aggregate production.
