Experimental Static Strength Evaluation of a Passenger Car Aluminium Multi-link Suspension Corner Module (승용차 알루미늄 멀티링크 현가장치 코너모듈의 실험적 정강도 특성 평가)

  • An aluminum suspension corner module is widely used in high class passenger cars to reduce vehicle weight and improve fuel economy. According to the change of material and suspension type, the evaluation of the static strength and failure mode of the corner module is important. In this study, static strength and failure mode analysis of aluminium multi-link suspension corner module is presented. Static strength test system is designed and static failure mode tests of the corner module are carried out in longitudinal, lateral, and vertical direction. From the resuls of the tests we found that the failure modes are different compare to those of the steel corner module. The static failure modes and load-displacement curves of this study will be used as a guidance in design of a passenger car aluminium multi-link suspension corner module.

A study on development of 1kW SOFC test system (1kW급 연료전지 평가시스템 개발에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, a 1kW Solid Oxide Fuel Cell(SOFC) test system was developed. A SOFC is the most promising power system to provide the higher efficient(over 50%) for house application area(1~10kW). To develop the optimized test system, the temperature control module that controls the preprocess and reaction condition, the flow control module that controls of the mass of reactants, and the electric loader that tests the discharge performance condition, etc. The temperature control module was designed to provide the high control resolution(under $1^{\circ}C$ at $750^{\circ}C$ of operating temperature) using K-type thermal couple. The flow control module was designed control blower and heater precisely using the phase control method. And the electric loader is designed that provide CV, CC, CR discharge mode and minimized the operating error adopting the independent DC-DC converter on analog input and output module. The performance of the developed SOFC test system showed that the accuracy of stack voltage was 0.15% at 80V and stack current was 0.1% at 100A.

Analysis of Photovoltaic module's Phenomena of aging with Acceleration Test (외부환경적 가속시혐에 의한 PV모듈의 열화성능 분석)

  • In this paper, we examined 10 domestic samples of three different model using thermal, humidity freeze, thermal-endurance and damp heat test under IEC61215 photovoltaic module environmental endurance test condition. Three was almost no changes on power generation. Insulation resistance capacity was much higher than judgement standard but, showed unstable results depending on environmental test items. On external appearance test, there were two models which showed bubble, humidity penetration, seal melted frame phenomenon. From this results, the degree of aging under the external environment is a main cause that shortens photovoltaic module life time. So it is considered that the efforts for finding optimum condition of manufacturing process should be needed.

  • In this paper we investigated the method of examining the accelerated life test on LED traffic signal module by the temperature. The longevity presumption of the LED type signal light by a general heat cycle test used and executed cycle when it was done to longevity by the heat cycle test number and the acceleration factor of a real system requirements of this heat cycle test. Therefore, it reports on the introduction of the acceleration type from which the LED traffic signal module is done here to clarify the above-mentioned acceleration factor with the object and the acceleration factor is requested the test atmosphere actually in the system requirements.

  • The test apparatus that can be protected from the high-temperature combustion flame and coolant injection was successfully manufactured. In this study, the coolant-injection module had a controllable consistent pressure, and the entire combustion module was protected using a nonflammable composite liner. Every flange was designed in accordance with the DIN standard, and the entire body of the module was designed in accordance with the EN 13445 code. Additionally, the hydraulic pressure test was performed in accordance with the 2014/68/EU directive and EN 13445 standard. Finally, after manufacturing, performance tests (such as pressure tests) were conducted to verify the reliability and safety.

  • Because a medical embedded software is the software that control the medical devices that are relevant to a human life, it requires high qualify level. It is requires to develop and apply the quality test module that suitable for the requirements to meet the high quality requirements of the medical embedded software. Also, it needs to develop the process that complement the quality defects of software by feedback of the test result. In this study, we developed test module and quality inspection table which can test medical embedded software and produce result based on ISO/IEC 12119.

  • In this paper, we test the electrical resistance of flat wire in the PV module. normally solar cell has two kind of flat wire(inter connection ribbon and bus bar ribbon). we found the phenomenon that has a unbalance with resistance when we make a wiling between of string. So, we measurement the resistance of flat wire each other. and analysis of missmatch with resistance between flat wires on PV module. next to survey of IR picture on missmatch flat wire samples for analyze of missmatch with current in the wire. and we perform IR test with solar cell that has a connection with flat wire for test the effect of missmatch resistance on solar cell. Finally we perform the Dark I-V test for survey of effect by the unbalance of resistance. By the result of Dark I-V test, the series resistance of existing connection sample is large more then innovated connection sample.

  • Rotational-free-surface (RFS) is a special type of free surface whose two boundaries coincide. For NC machining of PFS, a rotational axis as well as three Cartesian axes are required. In this paper, we develop a four-axis CAM module consisting of: a) Geometric modeling of RFS, b) CL-data generation, and c) Graphic simulation of machining operation. To test the validity and effectiveness of the developed module, several test cuts are made with Bridgeport CNC milling machine and compared with the graphic simulation.

  • In this experiment, we did sampling 6 kinds of photovoltaic modules and analyzed the discrepancy of measurement results between l laboratory and 4 PV makers to have performance repeatability at Standard Test Condition(STC) condition. From the KIER's results, Korea's standard test laboratory, other laboratory showed -10% measurement variation. The causes came from correction of reference cell, test condition and the state of skill. Form the comparison test, we analyzed the problems. But three PV maker reduced measurement variation, other one PV maker and one test laboratory didn't improve the problems of correction of reference cell, test condition and the state of skill. Also, High Efficiency Module had a big discrepancy of -10.0$\sim$-6.2% among 3 laboratories which have a less than 10msec light pulse duration time. This made low spectrum response speed so the Fill Factor decreased maximum output power under 10msec light pulse duration time

  • : A DNA analysis system based on fluorescence analysis has to have a DNA amplifying thermal cycle system. DNA amplification is executed by the temperature control. Accuracy of fluorescence analysis is influenced by the temperature control technology. For that reason, the temperature control is core technology in developing the DNA analysis system. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to develop the hardware to apply thermoelectric module to the DNA amplifying thermal cycle system. In order to verify the developed hardware for controlling the temperature of thermoelectric module, a DNA amplifying thermal cycle test was performed. From the test, the developed hardware controlled the temperature of thermoelectric module successfully. Therefore, it is expected that the developed hardware can be applied to the DNA amplifying thermal cycle system.
