시가지내 산악경관의 시점 높이별 조망 특성 - 청주시 우암산을 대상으로 - (The View Character of Mountainscape of a City according to Visual Point Level - In a Case of Mt. Uam -)

  • In this research, we have performed a T-test to see how the relationship between dependent variable or visual point level and independent variable or visual quantity is in order to clear up the correlation between pattern of visual point and visual quantity by the constituents of a view from a different visual point level and the results are as follows: 1) In case of the character of Mt. Uam landscape of the city, Uamsan is set as a fixed point and about a direction of view(D), the north is a datum point from which the range of direction is distributed within 1800 westwardly and the visual range(R) is also within 2000m. An elevation is an average of 7.40 and the average story of the buildings is 3.85. Here the height of a story is about 4m so the average of the visual point difference is estimated at 15.4m. 2) The type of visual point is divided into the intersection group and the front of the highly used public buildings group. Double intersection types account for about 78.80%(52 spots) which forms a majority part of LCP. 3) The analysis of the difference of visual point level divided by eye level and that of the top of the buildings has been proved that there's a sharp difference resulted from t-test at 1 % significant level. The significant difference of elevation from height difference(l5.93m), however, has not been shown. 4) From the result of T-test about visual quantity by the elements of a view from a different visual point level, the visual quantity of mountain(VQM), sky(VQS), ground(VQG) is significant at about 1% each and that of building(VQB) is at about 5%. The difference in visual quantity of a mountain by the visual point level is at about 4% which can meet a marginal level of LCP necessary for evaluation of mountainscape.

  • Wolsong Unit 2,3&4 has been performing a containment integrity test during power operation. This test could impact to the safe operation during test. If an accident occurs during pressure dropping phase, reactor trip can be delayed because of the increased pressure difference which causes a time delay to reach the trip set-point. On the contrary, if an accident occurs during pressure increasing phase, reactor trip could be accelerated because the pressure difference to the trip set-point decrease. Point Lepreau nuclear power plant, which installed GCLMS (Gross Containment Leakage Monitoring System) in 1990, has discontinued the test since 1992 due to these adverse effects. Therefore, we evaluated the risk to obviate the GCLMS test based on PWR's ILRT (Integrated Leak Rate Test) extension methodologies. The results demonstrate that risk increase rate is not high in case of performing only ILRT test at every 5 years instead of doing GCLMS test at every 1.5 years. In addition, the result shows that GCLMS test can be removed on a risk-informed perspective since risk increasement is in acceptable area of regulatory acceptance criteria.

최대우도법을 이용한 라이다 포인트군집의 박스특징 추정 (Box Feature Estimation from LiDAR Point Cluster using Maximum Likelihood Method)

  • This paper present box feature estimation from LiDAR point cluster using maximum likelihood Method. Previous LiDAR tracking method for autonomous driving shows high accuracy about velocity and heading of point cluster. However, Assuming the average position of a point cluster as the vehicle position has a lower accuracy than ground truth. Therefore, the box feature estimation algorithm to improve position accuracy of autonomous driving perception consists of two procedures. Firstly, proposed algorithm calculates vehicle candidate position based on relative position of point cluster. Secondly, to reflect the features of the point cluster in estimation, the likelihood of the particle scattered around the candidate position is used. The proposed estimation method has been implemented in robot operating system (ROS) environment, and investigated via simulation and actual vehicle test. The test result show that proposed cluster position estimation enhances perception and path planning performance in autonomous driving.

DNN과 HoG Feature를 이용한 도로 소실점 검출 방법 (Method for Road Vanishing Point Detection Using DNN and Hog Feature)

  • 소실점이란 실제 공간의 평행한 선들이 영상 내에 투영되면서 한곳에 모이는 점으로, 도로 공간에서의 소실점은 매우 중요한 공간정보이다. 도로 공간에서의 소실점을 이용해 추출된 차선의 위치를 개선하거나, 깊이지도 영상을 생성할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 자동차의 시점을 기준으로 도로를 촬영한 영상을 Deep Neural Network(DNN)과 Histogram of Oriented Gradient(HoG) Feature를 이용한 소실점 검출 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘에서는 영상을 블록별로 나눠서 주요 에지 방향을 추출하는 HoG Feature 추출 단계와 DNN 학습 단계, 그리고 Test 단계로 나뉜다. 학습단계에서는 자동차 시점으로 기준으로 도로 영상 2300장으로 학습을 진행한다. 그리고 Test 단계에서는 Normalized Euclidean Distance(NormDist) 방법을 사용하여 제안하는 알고리즘의 효율성을 측정한다.

Test and Analysis of Triaxially Braided Composite Circular Arch under Three-Point Bending

  • In this paper, the buckling behavior of triaxially braided circular arch with monosymmetric open section subjected to three-point bending was studied experimentally and numerically. First, test specimens were manufactured using vacuum assisted resin transfer molding (VARTM). Then the specimen was tested under three-point bending to determine the ultimate buckling strength. Before performing the numerical analysis, effective material properties of the braided composite were obtained through micro-meso scale analysis virtual testing validated with available test results. Then linear buckling analysis and geometrically non-linear post buckling analysis, established to simulate the test setup, were performed to study the buckling behavior of the composite frame. Analysis results were compared with experimentally obtained ones for verification. The effect of manufacturing defects of tow misalignment, irregular surface and resin rich region, and uncertainties during test setup were studied using numerical models. From the numerical analyses performed it was observed that both manufacturing defect and uncertainties had effect on the buckling behavior and strength.

교통사고 후 경항통 발생환자 중 Trigger Point 치료군, 자가운동 치료군, Trigger Point 및 자가운동 병행 치료군 비교연구 (The Comparative Study on the Effect of Trigger Point Treatment, Self-Exercise Treatment, Trigger Point - Self-Exercise Cooperative Treatment for Neck Pain Caused by Traffic Accidents)

  • Objectives This study was aimed at comparing clinical effectiveness among trigger point treatment, Self-exercise treatment, trigger point - self-exercise cooperative treatment for neck pain caused by traffic accidents. Methods 63 patients with neck pain by traffic accidents were divided into 3 groups. Different types of treatments were carried out for each groups ; group A with trigger point, group B with self-exercise, group C with trigger point and self-exercise cooperative treatment. 3 groups were also treated with general acupuncture and herb-medicine treatment. Pain threshold, visual analogue scale (VAS), and neck disability index (NDI) were checked on a daily basis. SPSS ver. 18.0 for Windows was used for analysis of data. The effectiveness of treatment of each groups were verified by using paired test and one-way repeated-measures ANOVA test, and the comparison of VAS, NDI and pain threshold were demonstrated by independent samples t-test. Results 3 groups all showed significant difference in pain threshold, VAS and NDI after 8 days later. Group C showed more improvement in pain threshold, VAS and NDI than shown in group A and B. In the first period (from pre-treatment to 4th day treatment) group C showed significant difference in NDI and pain threshold but not in VAS as compared to group A and B. In the second period (from 4th treatment to 8th day treatment), Group C showed significant difference in pain threshold, VAS and NDI as compared to group A and B. Conclusions Trigger point - self-exercise cooperative treatment is proved to be more helpful to improve the unstability and reduce neck pain than trigger point treatment or self-exercise treatment only, therefore eventually leading to better satisfaction for patients with neck pain.

콘크리트의 파괴(破壞)에너지 결정을 위한 수정시험방법(修正試驗方法) (A Modified Test Method for Determining the Fracture Energy of Concrete)

  • RILEM에서는 콘크리트의 파괴에너지를 결정하기 위하여 3점휨시험 방법을 제시하였으나, 콘크리트의 자중의 영향으로 인하여 이론치와 실험치가 잘 일치하지 않는 경향이 있다. 본 연구에서는 콘크리트의 자중의 영향을 고려하기 위하여 완전탄성체지지대로서 proving ring을 이용한 4점휨시험을 제시하였으며, 인조균열길이의 변화에 따른 콘크리트의 파괴에너지 변화를 알아보기 위하여 보의 높이에 대한 인조균열길이의 비를 0.2부터 0.6까지 변화시켜 실험을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 제안된 4점휨 시험을 통하여 콘크리트의 파괴거동을 보다 쉽게 파악할 수 있었으며, 4점휨시험이 3점휨시험 보다 파괴역학이론에 잘 들어맞는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • A 4-point pure bending res machine is developed the evaluate the pure vending moment-rotation properties of the thin-walled tubes without imposing shear and tensile forces. The moment-rotation properties of the thin-walled tubes are measured up to and beyond collapse with the pure bending test machine. The test results are compared with those of finite element analyses and existing analytical solution.

  • The problem of trend change in the mean residual life is great interest in the reliability and survival analysis. In this paper, a new test statistic for testing whether or not the mean residual life changes its trend is developed. It is assumed that neither the change point nor the proportion at which the trend change occurs is known. The asymptotic null distribution of test statistic is established and asymptotic critical values of the asymptotic null distribution is obtained. Monte Carlo simulation is used to compare the proposed test with previously known tests.

  • Although standard method of test for liquid limit procedure is issued under the fixed designation KSF-2303 in 1968, for both of general method and on point method, the latter of which is not still favorably used among laboratory engineers with its defficiency of adquate informations. This study intended as to furnish proper information to the laboratory engineers for the use of one point liquid limit test with full advantages of time-saving and labor-saving. further more, the following conversion formula to the one point method VS. general method is presented by the results of analytical study on 1017 Soil sampls existing liquid limit test data The formula is; $$W_L = W(\frac{N}{25})^{0.118}$$ The conversion factor (table-4) is also attached for the convenience of the users.
