  • Two No Spin Differential(NSD) models were benchmarked for a project of Dual-Use Technology The Axiomatic approach was utilized to evaluate two models and to derive an evolutionary design from the evaluated results. Test methodology is developed and used to evaluate the mobility, steerability, durability and noise of the newly developed sample. The test results of NSD sample on the test methodology are very positive regarding functional performances.

  • SOC test methodology in ultra deep submicron (UDSM) technology with reasonable test time and cost has begun to satisfy high quality and reliability of the product. A novel hierarchical test architecture using IEEE standard 1149.1, 1149.7 and 1500 compliant facilities is proposed for the purpose of supporting flexible test environment to ensure SOC test methodology. Each embedded core in a system-on- a-chip (SOC) is controlled by test access ports (TAP) and TAP controller of IEEE standard 1149.1 as well as tested using IEEE standard 1500. An SOC device including TAPed cores is hierarchically organized by IEEE standard 1149.7 in wafer and chip level. As a result, it is possible to select/deselect all cores embedded in an SOC flexibly and reduce test cost dramatically using star scan topology.

시스템엔지니어링 방법론을 적용한 소프트웨어 테스트 케이스 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Software Test Case Development using Systems Engineering Methodology)

  • Software has become an integral part of almost any system, triggered by the ever-growing demand for automation and artificial intelligent throughout engineering domains. The complexities of software-centric systems are also increasing, which make software test efforts become essential in software development projects. In this study, we applied systems engineering methodology in generating software test cases. We found out the similarities between requirements analysis and traceability concept of systems engineering and test specification contents of software test. In terms of acceptance test, software test cases could be considered as validation requirements. We also suggested a method to determine test order using a SysML modeling tool.

  • 가압경수로용 핵연료붕 내압을 계산하는 데 있어 현재의 결정론적 방법에 의한 과다한 보수성을 줄이기 위하여 통계적 계산 방법론을 개발하였다. 개발된 통계적 방법론은 반응표면 분석 방법과 Monte Carlo 계산 방법을 이용하였다. 반응표면 분석 방법을 이용하여 핵연료 제조관련 변수와 성능관련 변수를 고려하여 회귀식을 유도하였으며, 이 식의 검증은 F-test, $R^2$$C^{p}$-test 방법을 사용하여 수행하였다. 회귀식으로 부터 예측된 봉내압은 결정론적 방법을 사용하여 계산된 값과 잘 일치하였다. Monte Carlo 계산으로 구한 핵연료봉 내압의 분포는 거의 정상분포로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 개발된 통계적 방법론으로 구한 95/95 봉내압과 현재 사용되고 있는 결정론적 방법론의 봉내압과 비교한 결과 결정론적 방법론의 과다한 보수성을 크게 줄일 수 있었다.다.

초음속 전투기 후방동체 항력 예측 및 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Prediction and Measurement of Afterbody Drag for a Supersonic Aircraft)

  • During the preliminary design phase of a supersonic aircraft, it is necessary to evaluate many potential engine/airframe combinations to determine the best solution to given set of mission requirements. And it is very important to establish a methodology to predict precisely afterbody drag so that accurate engine installed performance can be estimated. It was carried out in this paper to establish a methodology to predict afterbody drag of F-15K supersonic aircraft based on IMS(Integral Mean Slope) methodology, acquire afterbody drag data and compare its calculated data with the test data acquired from the wind tunnel test data based on 4.7% model scale. The comparison results showed good agreement between the calculated data and test data and it was found that the methodology described here to predict and test afterbody drag is acceptable.

측면충돌모의시험 방법 개발과 응용 (Development of Side Impact Crash Simulation Methodology and Its Applications)

  • Occupant protection in the side impact of a car became one of the most important issues of car crashworthiness due to high injury level in a side impact crash. An accurate simulation of the side impact crash is an essential tool for the reduction of development time and cost for side impact safety system. This paper describes a new test methodology that can accurately generate the crash pulses of a vehicle and a door in a very cost-effective manner, and then evaluates the injury values of the dummy for the various sled pulses. This test methodology is simple and easy to approach because the door velocity is controlled by the hydraulic actuator and brake and the seat velocity is only adjusted by the friction force of the hydraulic brake. The superiority of the proposed test methodology is proven by the evaluation of dummy's injury values according to the change of the pressure of the hydraulic brake and by the application as a tool for the development of side airbag.

운용시험평가 데이터를 활용한 함정 운용가용도 평가 방안 및 사례 연구 (A Study on the Case Study and Evaluation Methodology of Operational Availability for a Naval Ship using OT&E Data)

  • Navy forces of ROK asked for more than 90% operational availability in the requirement document of combat ship. This study proposes the evaluation methodology of operational availability with the evaluation process, calculation formula, analysis of operational test data. As the case study, the developed methodology is proved to apply for 00 batch-I naval ship using the data to be acquired during the operational test period. The operational availability by test data was 90.03%, and it was satisfied with objective value 90%. The paper will contribute not only to establish the evaluation methodology of operational availability for combat ship but also other general weapon system.

  • Biometrics is one of promising future technologies within personal identification area, and its application stretches to other variety industry site. Therefore it is necessary to test whether these products are implemented in conformance withe the BioAPI international standard specification. This paper presents the specific construction and application examples of BioAPI v2.0 conformance test suite according to the method described in ISO/IEC 24709. The problems and experience that have been discovered in the construction are described. Three BSP products claiming conformance to BioAPI was tested by proposed the test methodology and tools.
