용어 의미 표준화를 통한 업무의 효율성을 높이기 위해서 다양한 분야에서 전문용어가 구축 활용되고 있으며, 국방분야에서도 국방용어 사전 발간을 통해 각 군의 효율적인 업무 연계 및 표준화된 국방 용어 유통체계를 정립하는데 노력하고 있다. 국방기술품질원에서도 3년을 주기로 국방과학기술분야의 전문용어 사전을 발간함으로써 전문용어 구축 표준화 연구는 물론, 전문용어의 활용성 제고에 힘쓰고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국방기술품질원에서 전문용어 사전을 실제로 구축하는데 필요한 구축 프로세스와 조직, 이를 지원하기 위한 워크벤치에 대해서 기술하고 있다. 즉, 국방과학기술 전문용어 사전을 구축하기 위한 전문용어 사전구축 프로세스 및 조직의 구성, 표제어 정의, 전문용어 후보 추출을 위한 대상 문서의 선정, 전문용어 후보추출, 전문용어 후보군 생성, 워크벤치 등록, 사전 구축, 사전 검증 과정에 대해서 설명하고 있다, 또한 전문 용어 사전의 활용성 제고를 위해서 시소러스를 구축 활용하는 내용은 물론, 전문용어 사전 구축을 위해서 개발된 워크벤치의 기능을 중심으로 효율적인 전문용어 사전 구축 지원 방법에 대해서도 기술한다.

재난사건의 신속한 대응은 다양한 분야의 재난안전 유관기관들이 유기적으로 관계함으로써 가능하며, 이 때 사용되는 재난용어의 표준화는 필수적이다. 따라서 재난안전 분야의 전문 용어사전 구축은 각 유관기관 간의 의사소통 및 국민에게 명확한 정보 전달을 위해 수반되는 핵심 요소이다. 더불어 효율적인 용어사전 구축을 위해서는 구축 대상 용어의 우선순위 선정이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 구체적인 용어사전 구축방향의 설정을 위하여 용어 사용 주체로 대표되는 미디어를 각각 용어사전, 뉴스미디어, 소셜미디어로 선정하고 어휘의 사용 양상을 비교하였다. 이를 위해 각 미디어에서 수집된 어휘 자원을 바탕으로 미디어별 동시 출현 양상 및 빈도 가중치 분석을 통하여 어휘의 분포를 시각화하였다. 분석 결과를 통해 어휘의 사용 양상에 따라 용어사전의 구축대상이 될 수 있는 어휘의 유형을 4가지로 분류하고, 구축대상 기준별 용어사전 구축의 우선순위 방향성을 제안하였다.

It is difficult to settle the well-designed local terminology for imaging report in the hospital information system (HIS). One of the major reasons is the local terminology with poor contents have been used in the hospital. Thus, we mapped the locally used terms in nuclear medicine imaging report to the SNOMED-CT, which had been widely used in the electronic medical record system, for implementation of hospital information system. Preliminary construction of terminology dictionary was done by mapping of local terms to SNOMED-CT and LexCare Suite. Further study may be warranted.

국가연구개발(R&D, Research and Development) 정보는 정부부처로부터 발주되는 사업 과제를 수행하는 과정에서 발생되는 다양한 연구분야의 정보들이 포함되어 있다. 따라서 효율적인 R&D정보 검색을 위해서는 이러한 국가R&D정보의 특성을 반영할 수 있는 국가R&D 전문용어사전 구축이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 국가R&D정보에서 연구분야를 명시하기 위해 활용되는 국가과학기술표준분류를 적용하여 국가R&D용어사전을 구축하기 위한 방안을 제안한다. 국가R&D 과제정보의 구조적 특성과 그에 따른 과제 키워드의 유용성에 대해 언급하고, 국가과학기술표준분류별 국가R&D정보 현황과 국가R&D 용어의 특성에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 그리고 이를 바탕으로 국가R&D용어사전을 구축하기 위한 방법을 용어사전의 유형과 구조, 사전구축 절차, 정제규칙의 관점에서 정의한다. 본 연구를 기반으로 구축되는 국가R&D용어사전은 국가R&D정보 검색 시 한 영 대역어, 동의어 등을 활용한 검색어 확장과 국가과학기술표준분류를 활용한 검색 범위 명확화, 용어설명 정보를 활용한 이용자 편의기능 제공 등에 다양하게 활용될 수 있다.

North-South Korean information technology(IT) terminologies are going to be gradually changed differently as the time is flowed. In accordance with the age of advanced information science and technology, the IT terminologies should be mutually identified and confirmed on the basis of ISO2382 Korean standardization being set up for the international IT terminologies made by the scholars both Republic of Korea(ROK) and Democratic Peoples' Republic of Korea(DPRK). In the present study, the results of mutual efforts on IT standardization since 1994 has been firstly analyzed systematically for the advanced North-South Korean IT terminology. Secondly, the differences of the IT terminologies used currently in both ROK and DPRK have been also analyzed and classified in the three categories. Thirdly, the current IT terminologies used in both ROK and DPRK have been summarized on the basis of "Encyclopedia of 21 Century Computer Terminology." Fourth, it has been finally set up the construction scheme of conceptual system on compiling operations for the dictionary of North-South Korean IT terminologies.

A controlled medical vocabulary is a vital component of medical information management because it enables computers to use information meaningfully and different institutions to share the medical data. There are currently many standard medical vocabularies - SNOMED-CT, ICD-10, UMLS, GALEN, MED, etc, but none is universally accepted as an optimal controlled medical vocabulary for application to medical information system. Moreover, it is difficult to settle the well-designed local data dictionary consisting of controlled medical vocabularies for the individual hospital information system (HIS). One of the major reasons is the local terminology with poor contents have been used in the hospital. Thus, as a trial, the local controlled vocabulary referencing system has being constructed in a limited medical field - nuclear medicine. We selected practical nuclear medicine terms from interpretation reports and electronic medical records, and removed ambiguity and redundancy, mapping the selected terms to standard medical vocabularies. Relationship and hierarchy structure between terms have being made, referring to standard medical vocabularies. Further studies may be warranted.

최근 정보기술의 발전으로 책자 형태의 건설용어사전 보다는 인터넷을 통한 다양한 건설용어사전이 제공되어 있으며, 특히 정부기관을 비롯하여 건설관련 학회 및 협회, 건설관련 포탈 및 정보시스템 등에서 자체적인 건설용어사전을 개발하여 제공하고 있다. 이처럼 건설분야에서 활용되고 있는 건설용어 사전은 다양하게 서비스 되고 있으나, 아직까지 건설용어에 관한 표준 체계가 정립되지 않아, 건설용어사전에서 정의하고 있는 건설용어가 서로 상이하며 현업에서는 아직도 관행처럼 외래어를 사용함에 따라 건설공사 수행시 참여주체 간에 의사소통의 저해 요인으로 작용하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국내외 건설용어사전의 유형을 살펴보고, 건설용어 표준 활동 사례의 분석을 통해 국내 실정에 적합한 건설용어사전 서비스 체계 구축을 위한 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

지식이나 정보를 찾는 경우 아날로그적인 인쇄된 책이나 출판물 등등의 종이로 기록된 매체보다는 디지털적으로 구현되는 웹을 이용하는 방법이 증가하고 있다. 이러한 현상은 고전적인 종이 사전 보다 디지털 사전을 사용하는 것이 더 효과적이고 시간을 절약할 수 있다는 인식이 증가되고 있다. 따라서 이러한 어휘를 구성하는 어휘 의미망 구축은 언어학계와 전산언어학, 자연어 처리 전공자들에게 있어서 중요한 문제로 떠오르고 있다. 이를 위해 언어학자들은 어휘의 의미와 개념을 구조화하여 분류할 수 있는 방법을 찾기 위해 수많은 연구가 진행되었다. 이러한 연구에서 어휘 의미망을 구성하기 위한 전문용어는 일반어와 같이 중요한 요소이다. 하지만 이러한 과정에서 전문용어를 찾고 축적하는 과정에서 여전히 종이로 된 사전 문서나 디지털로 된 방대한 자료를 사람이 직접 확인하고 그 중에서 전문용어를 추출하고 정리하는 과정을 수작업으로 거치고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 인적 작업의 오류를 보완하기 위해서 디지털로 된 자료에서 사용자가 원하는 전문용어를 추출할 수 있는 자동화된 프로그램을 제안한다.

국방분야에서는 국방용어 사전 발간을 통해 각군의 효율적인 업무 연계 및 표준화된 국방 용어 유통 체계를 정립하는데 노력하고 있다. 국방기술품질원에서도 국방 과학기술 분야의 전문용어 사전 발간을 통해 각군의 과학기술 용어를 표준화함으로써 업무 연계 및 효율성 제고에 노력하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 전문용어 사전 구축 표준화 프로세스를 준용해서 국방 과학기술 전문용어 사전의 후보 용어 선정부터 정제, 시소러스 구축, 검수에 이르는 전주기 과정에 대한 실제 구축 내용을 기술하고 있다. 또한 전문용어 사전의 효율적 구축 및 관리를 위해 개발된 워크벤치의 기능을 중심으로 용어 선정, 정보 입력, 관리 기능을 기술하고 한다.

According to it, a final goal of this study sets up 'Renovation of the Red brick architecture' and development of theoretical foundation and substantial conservation about Red brick architecture through historical records must be settled without delay. Firstly, it analyzes related terminology and adjusts brick architecture's history and features for architectural authenticity about Red brick architecture. It would study production and construction process of brick in korea. From analysis of records, brick of traditional meaning is 'Jeondol' and western brick of modern meaning is 'Red brick'. 'Brick' defines a common designation. This study shows definition of words based on documents published until 19th century and a korean language and architecture terms dictionary. In view of this results, the meaning of brick which combines different types extensively uses 'Chu', 'Jeon', 'Byeok' according to the purpose of use and the current of the times. In case of 'Jeon', it uses jointly different types such as '塼', '磚', '甎'. but '塼' is frequently used. Even though these words like 'byeok' used individual or combination types until the late 19th century, there is no use because of japanese terms in japanese colonial. After liberation, it was the term of the traditional brick. Brick is generally used through modern times. In an unabridged Korean language dictionary, it defines this term as orthodox korean '壁乭' and '?乭'. At that time of japanese colonial, 'Yeonwa(煉瓦)' used in combination with brick. Due to influence it, it partly uses until now but it is not in common use. Also, a Korean language dictionary contains transcription of 'Yeonwa' with same definition as 'Byeokdol'. In the other side, it results from translating japanese into Korean. It would make exact definition of 'Yeonwa'.
