The advances in electronic medical records (EMRs) and bioinformatics (BI) represent two significant trends in healthcare. The widespread adoption of EMR systems and the completion of the Human Genome Project developed the technologies for data acquisition, analysis, and visualization in two different domains. The massive amount of data from both clinical and biology domains is expected to provide personalized, preventive, and predictive healthcare services in the near future. The integrated use of EMR and BI data needs to consider four key informatics areas: data modeling, analytics, standardization, and privacy. Bioclinical data warehouses integrating heterogeneous patient-related clinical or omics data should be considered. The representative standardization effort by the Clinical Bioinformatics Ontology (CBO) aims to provide uniquely identified concepts to include molecular pathology terminologies. Since individual genome data are easily used to predict current and future health status, different safeguards to ensure confidentiality should be considered. In this paper, we focused on the informatics aspects of integrating the EMR community and BI community by identifying opportunities, challenges, and approaches to provide the best possible care service for our patients and the population.

본 연구에서는 우리나라 중학교 1학년 수학 교과서에서 많이 사용하는 용어인 식, 방정식, 항등식의 의미에 관해 논의한다. 이를 위해 식, 방정식, 항등식과 그 각각에 해당하는 영어 용어 expression, equation, identity의 의미를 우리나라 교과서와 미국 교과서에서 찾을 수 있는 용례에 기초하여 분석한다. 특히 우리나라와 미국 교과서에서 방정식(equation)과 항등식(identity) 사이에 어떤 관계가 있는지 알아본다. 우리나라 교과서에서는 이 용어들의 정의에서 다소 명확하지 않은 부분이 있다. 또한, 이 용어들의 정의와 그들에 해당하는 영어 용어의 정의 사이에 차이가 있다. 이러한 불명확성과 차이는 방정식, 항등식의 교수 학습에 혼란을 가져올 수 있다. 이러한 혼란을 방지하기 위해서 교육과정 차원에서 이들 용어의 개념을 점검할 필요가 있으며, 교사용 지도서 등을 통해 교사들이 식, 방정식, 항등식과 이들에 해당하는 영어 용어의 정의 특성과 그 구분 방법을 충분히 습득할 수 있게 하여야 한다.

Today, much terminologies such as noise spectrum, Sharpness, contrast, MTF had been defined for Image quality revaluation of radiation Image. Since development of Xeroradiography In the 1970s, Digital radiation detector that use amorphous selenium was developed. The aim of this research is to analyze physical phenomenon of digital radiation detector that use amorphous selenium. Result of Monte Carlo simulations on amorphous selenium based on physical properties(creation of electron-hole pairs) by induced x-ray are described. From the simulation, intrinsic point spread function(PSF) was found and used to observe modulation transfer function(MTF). We investigated how PSF and MTF changed with various x-ray energy. This result can be used to design digital x-ray detector based on a-Se.

In Korean terminologies, adjectival terms are rare, and the meaning and function associated with adjectives in Indo-European languages are often realized instead in noun form. However, the rarer adjectival terms we, the more they are used in restrictive and repetitive ways in specialized domains. Thus, it is important to distinguish the different senses of these terms. In this work, focusing on semantic modeling in terminology, we distinguish the different senses of adjectival medical terms by applying lexico-semantic criteria (L'Homme, 2004a) and by classifying the semantic category of the arguments of the adjective (Bae and others, 2002). The result not only contributes to enriching medical terminology, but also empirically demonstrates a method for distinguishing the different senses of adjectival medical terms. In this work, we obtained an average of 1.854 senses for each term. We used the KAIST corpus, composed of medical texts (1,500,000 eojeols), and a group of texts on various subjects (40,000,000 eojeols)

정전이 될 경우 최소한의 방재 및 보안전력으로 비상전원설비가 요구되어지나 국내에서는 비상전원설비에 대한 관련법규가 상이하고 통일된 용어가 없으며 체계적으로 제시된 자료가 없는 실정이다. 따라서 본논문에서는 비상전원설비에 대한 개념 및 용어에 대해 국내 외 규격을 비교 검토하여 차이점을 제시하였다. 또한, 비상전원설비의 관련법규를 검토하여 국내에서 적용하고 있는 비상전원설비의 문제점을 도출한 다음 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 비상전원의 필수부하인 소방부하에 대해 IEC 규격을 부합화한 최소응답시간에 따른 소방부하분류방안과 5가지 비상전원시스템 구축방안을 제시하였다.

다국어로 구축된 학술정보 시스템의 통합검색 환경을 구현하기 위해서는 다국어 전문용어에 대한 해석을 제공하고 전문용어의 분야별 분류정보를 제공할 수 있는 시스템이 필요하다. 본 연구는 이러한 다국어 환경의 통합 정보검색 시스템을 운용할 수 있도록 기반시스템을 구축하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 다국어 의미망으로 상호 연결된 과학기술 전문용어 체계를 구축하는 방법과 다단계 연결노드에 대한 최단거리 탐색 기법을 소개하였다. 또한, 생성된 용어군집 결과를 해석하기 위한 기초분석을 수행하여 향후 심도있는 분석연구를 수행하기 위한 기반을 마련하고자 하였다.

In this paper, I introduce the development of a system to register Korean standard technical terms which are corresponded with English electronical terminologies on the Electropedia of the International Electronical Committee(IEC). In 2016, this project was started with the permission of registration at the Technical Committee 1 of the $80^{th}$ IEC General Meeting in Frankfurt, Germany. The work was consisted of 3 parts, the 1st step was gathering Korean vocabularies and building a databse for the translation of English terms of International Electronical Vocabulary(IEV) into Korean terms, the 2nd step was to find correct or proper Korean term which is in accord with each English term of IEV on the Electropedia. In this step, members of Korean TC 1 worked for search proper Korean terms using developed computer programs and databases which were made of Korean electronical dictionaries. After selection of proper terms, they did the cross-checking work for Korean terms each other. The last step was to register all of these Korean terms on the Electropedia. As a result, 20,766 Korean electronical terms were registered on the Electropedia in 2017. In the future, it is needed that the definition of English technical terms are translated into Korean.

In this paper, we propose a text-centered approach to identify the research trend of thyroid cancer in Korea. We incorporate statistical analysis, text mining and machine learning techniques with our clinical insights to find connective associations between terminologies and to discover informative clusters of literatures. The incidence of thyroid cancer in Korea increased rapidly in the 2000s, which fueled the debate regarding overdiagnosis, but recently the number of patients undergoing surgery has decreased significantly due to conscious reform efforts from various circles. We analyzed the abstracts and keywords of related research papers from DBpia. It was found that most were case reports in the 1980s, and some papers in the 1990s discussed the early detection of thyroid cancer by mass screening. While many papers focused on different diagnostic techniques and the detection of small cancers in the 2000s, many emphasized more on the quality of life of patients in the 2010s. There was an apparent change in the topics of thyroid cancer research over past decades. The results of this study would serve as a reference guide for current and future research directions.

Purpose: The author wants to specify scope of research, identify without giving burden, prevent unfair identification of the author, admit of production of the outcome, enact rules of identification, and build up foundation of development. Also, this study defines scope of publication of outcome of research to prevent unfair identification of authors and admit of them. Research design, data and methodology: The study described literary research, standard research, phenomenon research, and empirical result without methodologies, statistical analysis and scientific test and investigated operation system of KODISA cases. Results: At publication of findings of the research, researchers shall identify the ones of production of the finding to allocate help of the research. Conclusions: Scientific journals shall be controlled to develop ability and to grow up and have a system. Researchers shall give direction of other scientific journals. The study made efforts to be a model. KODISA Edition Team shall make an effort to keep and develop. So far, no regulation of identification of authors has produced disturbance so terminologies should be uniformed. Researchers shall keep rules of identification of authors to uniform and regulate identification of authors, conditions of authors, and order and correspondent authors. KODISA enacted rules of identification of authors for the first time in Korea to develop science.

'평가(appraisal)'는 기록관리의 핵심 영역이다. 이 연구는 기록학 분야의 대표적인 백과사전인 『Encyclopedia of Archival Science』을 중심으로 기록평가의 지식구조를 파악하고, 관련 대역어들의 적절성을 분석하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 먼저 이 사전에 146개 표제어 중 평가 관련 표제어 34개를 추출하고, 내용분석에 기초하여 용어를 범주화하였다. 둘째, 각 범주별 표제어들을 중심으로 주요 개념과 논의의 흐름을 살펴보았다. 셋째. 각 표제어들에 대한 대역어를 제시하였으며 대역어 선정 시 고려할 점을 제안하였다. 특히 '기록평가'(records appraisal)와 '보존기록평가(archival appraisal)'를 구분하여 사용하고, 등가의 원칙에 따라 대역어를 선정할 것을 제안하였다.
