Intelligent Control of Nonlinear dynamic system Using Immune Fuzzy Fusion

  • This paper proposes non-linear control method using immune algorithm based fuzzy logic. Nonlinear dynamic system exist widely in many types of systems such as chemical processes, biomedical processes, and the main steam temperature control system of the thermal power plant. Up to the present time, PID Controllers have been used to operate these systems. However, it is very difficult to achieve an optimal PID gain with no experience, because gain of the PID controller has to be manually tuned by trial and error. An inverted pendulum control problem is selected to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method and defines relationship state variables $\chi$, $\chi$, $\theta$, $\theta$ using immune fuzzy.

  • This paper presents a sensor fusion method based on indirect Kalman filter(IKF) for error compensation of low-cost inertial sensors and its application to the determination of attitude and position of small flying robots. First, the analysis of the measurement error characteristics to zero input is performed, focusing on the bias due to the temperature variation, to derive a simple nonlinear bias model of low-cost inertial sensors. Moreover, from the experimental results that the coefficients of this bias model possess non-deterministic (stochastic) uncertainties, the bias of low-cost inertial sensors is characterized as consisting of both deterministic and stochastic bias terms. Then, IKF is derived to improve long term stability dominated by the stochastic bias error, fusing low-cost inertial sensor measurements compensated by the deterministic bias model with non-inertial sensor measurement. In addition, in case of using intermittent non-inertial sensor measurements due to the unreliable data link, the upper and lower bounds of the state estimation error covariance matrix of discrete-time IKF are analyzed by solving stochastic algebraic Riccati equation and it is shown that they are dependant on the throughput of the data link and sampling period. To evaluate the performance of proposed method, experimental results of IKF for the attitude determination of a small flying robot are presented in comparison with that of extended Kaman filter which compensates only deterministic bias error model.

  • Thermal mass flow meter was developed using principle of convective heat transfer. The advantage of thermal mass flow meter is measuring mass flow directly, therefore, it is not required to use densitometer or temperature/pressure and DP gages. The final accuracy of this thermal mass flow meter is $\pm1.0{\%}$ or better, reproducibility is $\pm0.2{\%}$, and the response time is 600 ms. The thermal mass flow meter was developed from a single point to multi-points (maximum is 9 points), and the number of points is determined according to desired accuracy and size of piping/duct. Since this thermal mass flow meter adopted microprocessor based design, it is intrinsically accurate, self-error detectable, and has self-diagnosis function. The applications of this thermal mass flow meter are for measurement and control of HVAC air flow, other gas flow, and liquid flow.

복잡지형 경사면의 일사 영향을 반영한 매시 낮 기온 추정 방법 (Estimation of hourly daytime air temperature on slope in complex terrain corrected by hourly solar radiation)

  • 일출 이후부터 일몰 전까지 낮 동안 태양 일사로 인한 복잡지형 내 산사면 매시 기온 분포를 추정하기 위해, 동향사면과 서향사면 간 대표 기상관측지점에 대하여 매시 일사량 편차에 따른 관측기온의 편차(기온변화량)로 경험식을 산출하였다. 해당 경험식으로 일사효과를 모의하여 2015년 1월부터 2017년 12월까지 농산촌 지역 기상관측지점 11곳에 대해 매시 기온을 추정한 후 검증하였다. 매시 기온감률로 해발고도 보정만을 수행한 결과와 대조하였을 때, 일차식 형태의 경험식을 이용할 경우, 오전 9시부터 오후 3시까지 기온의 과소추정경향이 감소되어 추정오차를 줄일 수 있었다. 다만, 오후 5~6시에는 관측값 대신 기하학적 조건으로 계산된 경사면 일사량 편차로 도출된 hyperbolic equation이 더 추정오차가 작았다. 오후 3시 기준의 한낮기온은 선행연구에서 제시한 기존 모형과 추정신뢰도를 대조하였는데, 기존 모형의 추정오차(ME $-1.20^{\circ}C$, RMSE $2.01^{\circ}C$)를 ME $-0.28^{\circ}C$, RMSE $1.29^{\circ}C$까지 개선시킬 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문은 웹 브라우저 만으로 원격지에 위치한 설비의 모니터링과 제어를 할 수 있고, 서로 다른 시스템간의 호환성과 확장성을 지원할 수 있는 lava 플랫폼을 기반으로 응용 계층인 HTTP 프로토콜의 URL통신을 이용한 인터넷 원격제어 시스템 구축 방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 인터넷 원격제어시스템을 실험하기 위하여 서버 PC와 RS-232 통신방식으로 연결된 $\mu$-Processor를 통한 직류전동기의 속도 및 온도를 모니터링하고 제어하는 실험을 하였다.

  • Recently technologies have created new principle and theory but the PID control system remains its popularity as the PID controller contains simple structure, including maintenance and parameter adjustment being so simple. The adjust parameter of PID to achieve best response of process which be using time and may be error if user are not expert. Nowadays this problem was solved by develop PID controller which can analysis and auto tune parameter are appropriate with process which used principle of Ziegler ? Nichols but it are expensive and designed for each task. Thus, this paper proposes auto tune PID based on FPGA by use principle of Dahlin which maximum overshoot not over 5 percentages and do not fine tuning again. It have performance in control process are neighboring controller in industrial and simple to use. Especially, It can use various process and low price. The auto tune digital PID processor embedded on chip FPGA XC2S50-5tq-144. The digital PID processor was designed by fundamental PID equation which architectures including multiplier, adder, subtracter and some other logic gate. It was verified by control model of temperature control system.

  • 적응제어의 한 방식인 자기동조제어(STR) 방식이 비선형 노심 모델의 출력 조정에 적용된다. 적응제어는 비선형, 시변 및 확률(Stochastic) 시스템을 위한 준최적 제어기를 설계하기 위한 적절한 제어 방식이다. 제어계통은 미지의 시변 파라메타를 갖는 3차 선형 모델에 기초한다. 파라메타는 가변 망각계수를 도입한 늑장 최소자승법에 의하여 매시간(Time Step) 순환적으로 평가된다. 평가된 파라메타를 이용하여 한 스텝 먼저 냉자재 평균온도가 예측되고 이 예측된 값과 Setpoint 값과의 차이를 최소화함은 물론, 제어봉의 움직임을 막고자 가중(Weighted) One-step-ahead 제어기가 설계된다. 또한 적분동작이 첨가되어 정상상태 에러가 제거된다. 넓은 운전영역을 포괄하는 비선형 PWR 모델이 원자로 출력 조정을 위한 본 제어기를 시뮬레이션하는데 이용되었다. 시뮬레이션 결과로부터 본 제어기의 성능이 우수한 것으로 판명되었다.

  • This paper introduces a real time inspecting and monitoring system by using wireless communication and image processing technique. The communication system is developed by using 80c196kc microprocessor and it has data acquisition function for several kinds of sensors such as pluviometer, temperature, tension meter, elinometer and so on. The image processing method adopts Lalacian of Gaussian operator and least square method to extract line features for the captured images and uses a relaxation matching algorithm based in global structure constraint satisfaction to distinguish the matching error for those features. 상수도 1일 급수량 예측을 위한 ANFIS적용 (Application of ANFIS for Prediction of Daily Water Supply)

  • This study investigates the prediction of daily water supply, which is a necessary for the efficient management of water distribution system. ANFIS, namely artificial intelligence, is a neural network into which fuzzy information is inputted and then processed. In this study, daily water supply was predicted through an application of network-based fuzzy inference system(ANFIS) for daily water supply prediction. This study was investigated methods for predicting water supply based on data about the amount of water which supplied in Kwangju city. For variables choice, four analyses of input data were conducted: correlation analysis, autocorrelation analysis, partial autocorrelation analysis, and cross-correlation analysis. Input variables were (a) the amount of water supply, (b) the mean temperature, and (c) the population of the area supplied with water. Variables were combined in an integrated model. Data of the amount of daily water supply only was modelled and its validity was verified in the case that the meteorological office of weather forecast is not always reliable. Proposed models include accidental cases such as a suspension of water supply. The maximum error rate between the estimation of the model and the actual measurement was 18.46% and the average error was lower than 2.36%. The model is expected to be a real-time estimation of the operational control of water works and water/drain pipes.

발전소 고온부의 수명 평가를 위한 소형 시편용 크리프 시험기의 개발 (Development of Small-Specimen Creep Tester for Life Assessment of High Temperature Components of Power Plant)

  • The most effective means of evaluating remaining life is through the creep testing of samples removed from the component. But sampling of large specimen from in-service component is actually impossible. So, sampling device and small-specimen creep tester have been applied. Sampling device has been devised to extract mechanically small samples by hemispherical, diamond -coated cutter from the surface of turbine rotor bores and thick-walled pipes without subsequent weld repairs requiring post weld heat treatment. A method of manufacturing small creep specimen, 2min gage diameter and 10min gage length, using electron beam welding to attach grip section, has been proven. Small-specimen creep tester has been designed to control atmosphere to prevent stress increment by oxidation during experiment. To determine whether the small specimens successfully reproduce the behavior of large specimens, creep rupture tests for small and large specimens have been performed at identical conditions. Creep rupture times based on small specimens have closely agreed within 5% error compared with that of large specimen. The errors in rupture time have decreased at longer test period. This comparison validates the procedure for fabricating and testing on small specimen. This technique offers potential as an efficient method for remaining life assessment by direct sampling from in -service high temperature components.
