혼화재 사용 콘크리트의 응결 및 강도발현에 미치는 온도의존성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Temperature Dependency Affecting Setting and Strength Development of Concrete Using Mineral Admixtures)

  • This experimental study investigate temperature dependency affecting setting and strength development of concrete using mineral admixtures such as CKD, FA and BS. For the properties of setting at $5^{\circ}C$, setting time of concrete with mineral admixture was delayed about $3\~14$ hour compared with that of plain concrete. Use of CKD had a desirable effect on reducing setting retard under $5^{\circ}C$ because of $CaCO_3$ of CKD while use of FA and BS retarded setting time greatly. For compressive strength under $5^{\circ}C$, concrete with CKD had the most compressive strength in early age compared with the other mineral admixtures but exhibited slight strength loss in $-5^{\circ}C$ at 28days. Especially, concrete with FA and BS was observed in early stage at low curing temperature because of strength loss remarkably in $-5^{\circ}C$.

Extreme baking effect of interlayer on PLED's performance

  • Through baking process on an interlayer, known as hole transporting layer, varying baking temperature up to 300 degree, which is considered as extremely high for polymer light emitting device (PLED) system, we found interesting relationship between packing density and morphology affecting device performance. Granular morphology shows that as temperature increases, grain size is getting smaller to pack closely and make interlayer harden. Such denser interlayer has temperature dependency of its own mobility, even without clear evidence of degradation of material itself. Its fact proven in a single film also reflects on multilayered PLED's performance like IVL, efficiency, lifetime. It's found that, especially, to enhance lifetime is related with thermal stability of interlayer and its mobility dependency to meet better charge balance. Therefore, it gives us understanding not only baking effect of interlayer, but also material & device designing guide to enhance lifetime.

  • In this paper we evaluated dielectric properties and temperature dependency in PET with and without semiconductor. Dielectric losses of PET without and with semiconductor was $3.7{\times}10^{-3}$(%) and $1.8{\times}10^{-3}$(%), respectively, at room temperature. On the condition that semiconductors exist, we confirmed that dielectric properties had been influence on semiconductor's number.

  • In this paper, we were evaluated dielectric properties and temperature dependency in aging semifilm and PET film. According to humidity, dielectric properties of PET film increased, but tan $\delta$ presented a constant transition. According as temperature increased, tan $\delta$ increased from 1.9$\times$10$^{-3}$ to 2.76$\times$10$^{-3}$ and capacitance increased from 244.1(PF) to 297.5(PF).

  • This paper was evaluated dielectric characteristics and temperature dependency in the XLPE with and without void. Each dielectric loss was $3.5{\times}10^{-4}$(%) and a little decreased with temperature's increase. Capacitance presented a contant value. According as the study is obtained results, loss in the XLPE increased in proportion to square of applied voltage. As a result of the study, it was knowed that dielectric characteristics had a great deal to do with degradation in the high voltage dielectric materials.

Carbon Black-Polyethylene복합재료의 Percolation Threshold 전후 저항율에 미치는 온도의 영향 (Effect of the Temperature on Resistivity of Carbon Black-Polyethylene Composites Below and Above Percolation Threshold)

  • Temperature dependency of resistivity of the carbon black-polyethylene composites below and above percolation threshold is studied based on the electrical conduction mechanism. Temperature coefficient of resistance of the composites below percolation threshold changed from minus to plus, increasing volume fraction of carbon black; this trend decreased with increasing volume fraction of carbon black. The temperature dependence of resistivity of the composites below percolation threshold can be explained with a tunneling conduction model by incorporating the effect of thermal expansion of the composites into a tunneling gap. Temperature coefficient of resistance of the composites above percolation threshold was positive and its absolute value increased with increasing volume fraction of carbon black. By assuming that the electrical conduction through percolating paths is a thermally activated process and by incorporating the effect of thermal expansion into the volume fraction of carbon black, the temperature dependency of the resistivity above percolation threshold has been well explained without violating the universal law of conductivity. The apparent activation energy is estimated to be 0.14 eV.

유전율법에 따른 다공질 매질의 특성 파악을 위한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental study to estimate physical properties of porous media by a permittivity method)

  • 지반을 구성하고 있는 매질에 대한 체적함수비 및 포화 정도를 측정하는 것은 지반의 물리적 성질, 강우에 의한 지하수 함량 및 자연 사면 파괴를 이해하는데 매우 중요한 요소 중의 하나이다 이러한 지반의 요소들을 파악하기 위해 전자기파를 이용한 유전율법은 지반의 유전율상수의 특성에 따라 평가되어 지므로 다양한 분야에 적용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 전자기파의 측정 주파수 범위 1 - 18 GHz를 사용하는 유전율 시스템인 FDR-V (Frequency domain reflectometry with vector network analyzer)를 적용하여 1 GHz와 18 GHz에서의 두 주파수 범위에 대한 표준사 (Standard sand)와 화강풍화토 (Granitic weathered soil)의 밀도, 온도 및 염분농도 의존성에 따른 유전율상수의 반응에 대해 검토하였다. 실험결과에서, 흙의 밀도 의존성은 체적함수비의 증가에 따라 유전율상수도 증가하는 것으로 측정되었으나, 이들의 밀도 의존성은 다소 낮은 것으로 판단된다. 그리고, 1 GHz 실수부 (Real part)에 대한 온도 의존성 실험에서는 온도의 증가에 따라 물과 표준사의 유전율상수는 점진적으로 감소하는 경향을 보이나 에탄올의 유전율상수는 증가하는 것으로 측정되었다. 따라서, 온도 변화에 따른 각 매질의 유전율상수는 측정 온도에 대한 영향을 고려하여야 한다. 염분농도에 따른 유전율상수의 변화는 1 GHz 허수부 (Imaginary part)에서 염분농도의 증가에 따라 유전율상수의 측정치도 함께 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상과 같이, 다양한 조건하에 대한 유전율상수의 의존성들을 기초로 하여 다공질 매질의 특성을 파악하기 위한 FDR-V 시스템의 적용성을 충분히 검토하였다. 결론적으로, 본 연구에서는 1 GHz의 측정 주파수범위 내에서 다공질 매질의 염분오염도를 충분히 정량적으로 측정할 수 있는 것으로 생각된다.

Innovative Differential Hall Effect Gap Sensor through Comparative Study for Precise Magnetic Levitation Transport System

  • Three types of gap sensors, a capacitive gap sensor, an eddy current gap sensor, and a Hall effect gap sensor are described and evaluated through experiments for the purpose of precise gap sensing for micrometer scale movement, and a novel type of differential hall effect gap sensor is proposed. Each gap sensor is analyzed in terms of resolution and environment dependency including temperature dependency. Furthermore, a transport system for AMOLED deposition is introduced as a typical application of gap sensors, which are recently receiving considerable attention. Based on the analyses, the proposed differential Hall effect gap sensor is found to be the most suitable gap sensor for precise gap sensing, especially for application to a transport system for AMOLED deposition. The sensor shows resolution of $0.63mV/{\mu}m$ for the overall range of the gap from 0 mm to 2.5 mm, temperature dependency of $3{\mu}m/^{\circ}C$ from $20^{\circ}C$ to $30^{\circ}C$, and a monotonic characteristic for the gap between the sensor and the target.

Influence of pressure-dependency of the yield criterion and temperature on residual stresses and strains in a thin disk

  • Existing plane stress solutions for thin plates and disks have shown several qualitative features which are difficult to handle with the use of commercial numerical codes (non-existence of solutions, singular solutions, rapid growth of the plastic zone with a loading parameter). In order to understand the effect of temperature and pressure-dependency of the yield criterion on some of such features as well as on the distribution of residual stresses and strains, a semi-analytic solution for a thin hollow disk fixed to a rigid container and subject to thermal loading and subsequent unloading is derived. The material model is elastic-perfectly/plastic. The Drucker-Prager pressure-dependent yield criterion and the equation of incompressibity for plastic strains are adopted. The distribution of residual stresses and strains is illustrated for a wide range of the parameter which controls pressure-dependency of the yield criterion.

  • Apical to basal transport of organic cations (OCs) such as tributylmethylammonium (TBuMA), triethyimethylammonium (TEMA). 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium (MPP), and berberine across Caco-2 cell monolayers was measured to elucidate the intestinal absorption of OCs. Basal to apical transport of MPP and berberine was larger than apical to basal transport and showed temperature dependency and concentration dependency. indicating that MPP and berberine are secreted into the inteslinal lumen.
