The purpose of this study is to detect challenges and matters for improvement, an recent emerging export market with high potential for Korean agricultural products, and to finally find out measures to increase agricultural export to the market. In order to expand the export of agricultural products to Russian Far East, first of all, Competitiveness in terms of quality and price could be enhanced by improving production facilities, developing new technologies and improving logistical system. Secondly, the export volume should be secured in a stable manner, and it can be achieved by systematically running a larger export organization and unifying contact points. Thirdly, the screening, transportation and storage of agricultural products at low temperature should be offered at the local transportation and distribution stage. Fourthly, the consumers of Russian Far East have very little knowledge of the Korean agricultural products. To overcome this, more active PR, promotional and marketing activities are required.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to improve the quality of the PGM system by improving the structure and production process of slip-ring rotary joint for radar. Methods: The improvement measures for each cause are established through failure analysis of broken items. Specifically, changing in the housing to improve the heating system. Changing the transportation method to prevent damage to equipment during transport. Changing work process of the attenuator ring to prevent damage. etc. Results: The results of this study are as follows; improving the heating system reduces heat generated by the attenuator by about 7 degrees and obtain additional temperature margins. Reduction of defect rate because of adding X-band rotary joint run-out measurement test, ESS of slip-ring rotary joint and Transportation improvement(reinforced flight boxes, tube protection, etc). Getting stable VSWR values by improving work process of attenuator overheating due to a bad bonding process. Conclusion: Through this study, improvements were made to slip-ring rotary joint that failed repeatedly for various reasons. As a result of the application of the improvements, the same fault does not occur until now, so we can see that the quality of PGM has improved.

A crack in a solid propellant increases the area of burning surface, which leads to excessive burning that causes motor failure. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate fracture toughness of solid propellants. However, it is very difficult to measure fracture toughness of solid propellants because of the nonlinear mechanical behavior. In this study, evaluation of fracture toughness on a solid propellant was carried out under the assumption that the solid propellant is a linear viscoelastic material. Actual displacements from fracture toughness tests using CCT specimens were converted into pseudo-elastic displacements by using stress relaxation characteristics and fracture toughness was evaluated using ASTM E399 standard. Also, effects of test temperature and speed on the fracture toughness were considered.
Climate changes brought on by human interventions have proved to be more devastating than predicted during the recent decades. Recognition of seriousness of the situation has led regulatory organisations to impose strict targets on allowable carbon dioxide emissions from automotive vehicles. As a possible solution, it has been proposed that Fibre Metal Laminate (FML) system is used to reduce the weight of future vehicles. To facilitate this investigation, FML based on steel and self-reinforced polypropylene was stamp formed into dome shapes under different blank holder forces (BHFs) at room temperature and its forming behaviour analysed. An open-die configuration was used in a hydraulic press so that a 3D photogrammetric measurement system (ARAMIS) could capture real-time surface strains. This paper presents findings on strain evolutions at different points along and at $45^{\circ}$ to fibre directions of circular FML blank, through various stages of forming. It was found initiation and rate of deformation varied with distance from the pole, that the mode of deformations range from biaxial stretching at the pole to drawing towards flange region, at decreasing magnitudes away from the pole in general. More uniform strain distribution was observed for the FML compared to that of plain steel and the most significant effects of BHF were its influence on forming depth and level of strain reached before failure.

Isocyante terminated urethane prepolymers were synthesized by the reaction of 4,4'-dimethyl phenyldiisocyanate(MDI) and ester type polyols such as ethylene glycol/ butanediol adipate(EBA), neopentylglycol/butanediol adipate (NBA) and hexanediol adipate (HA) . All of the NCO-terminated urethane prepolymers are solid at room temperature, but they become mobile enough to be disposed onto a substrate upon heating about $80^{\circ}C$. Subsequently, they are solidified and cured through the reaction with moisture. Tensile behavior of the ore-thane hotmelt exhibits characteristic features depending on the type of polyol. The adhesive strength determined by single lap shear joint is higher in order of HA, NBA and EBA based ore thane hotmelt, which can be correlated with the magnitude of breaking energy of the cured films. The failure mode are cohesive for all cases and the adhesive strength increases as the test is performed faster. This indicates that the strength of the adhesive joint is primarily dependent upon the bulk properties of the adhesives.
A typical three-dimensional finite element model for a fuel assembly is established, which is composed of 16 monolithic U-10Mo fuel plates and Al alloy frame. The distribution and evolution results of temperature, displacement and stresses/strains in all the parts are numerically obtained and analyzed with a self-developed code of FUELTM. The simulation results indicate that (1) the out-of-plane displacements of Al alloy side plates are mainly attributed to the bending deformations; (2) enhanced out-of-plane displacements appear in fuel plates adjacent to the outside Al plates, which results from the occurred bending deformations due to the applied constraints of outside Al plates; (3) an intense interaction of fuel foil with the cladding occurs near the foil edge, which appears more heavily in the fuel plates adjacent to the outside Al plates. The maximum first principal stresses in the fuel foil are similar for all the fuel plates and appear near the fuel foil edge; while, the through-thickness creep strains of fuel foil in the fuel plate near the central region of fuel assembly are larger, and the induced creep damage might weaken the fuel skeleton strength and raise the fuel failure risk.
Delayed hydride cracking (DHC) is an important failure mechanism for Zircaloy tubes in the demanding environment of nuclear reactors. The threshold stress intensity factor, $K_{IH}$, and critical hydride length, $l_C$, are important parameters to evaluate DHC. Theoretical models of them are developed for Zircaloy tubes undergoing non-homogenous temperature loading, with new stress distributions ahead of the crack tip and thermal stresses involved. A new stress distribution in the plastic zone ahead of the crack tip is proposed according to the fracture mechanics theory of second-order estimate of plastic zone size. The developed models with fewer fitting parameters are validated with the experimental results for $K_{IH}$ and $l_C$. The research results for radial cracking cases indicate that a better agreement for $K_{IH}$ can be achieved; the negative axial thermal stresses can lessen $K_{IH}$ and enlarge the critical hydride length, so its effect should be considered in the safety evaluation and constraint design for fuel rods; the critical hydride length $l_C$ changes slightly in a certain range of stress intensity factors, which interprets the phenomenon that the DHC velocity varies slowly in the steady crack growth stage. Besides, the sensitivity analysis of model parameters demonstrates that an increase in yield strength of zircaloy will result in a decrease in the critical hydride length $l_C$, and $K_{IH}$ will firstly decrease and then have a trend to increase with the yield strength of Zircaloy; higher fracture strength of hydrided zircaloy will lead to very high values of threshold stress intensity factor and critical hydride length at higher temperatures, which might be the main mechanism of crack arrest for some Zircaloy materials.

By recognizing the importance of demand forecasting, the military is conducting many studies to improve the prediction accuracy for repair parts. Demand forecasting for repair parts is becoming a very important factor in budgeting and equipment availability. On the other hand, the demand for intermittent repair parts that have not constant sizes and intervals with the time series model currently used in the military is difficult to predict. This paper proposes a method to improve the prediction accuracy for intermittent repair parts of the Patriot. The authors collected intermittent repair parts data by classifying the demand types of 701 repair parts from 2013 to 2019. The temperature and operating time identified as external factors that can affect the failure were selected as input variables. The prediction accuracy was measured using both time series models and data mining models. As a result, the prediction accuracy of the data mining models was higher than that of the time series models, and the multilayer perceptron model showed the best performance.
This research focused on analyzing the post-fire behavior of high-performance concrete-filled steel tube (CFST) columns, with the concrete containing tire rubber and steel fibers, under axial compressive loading. The finite element (FE) modeling of such heated columns containing recycled aggregate is a branch of this field which has not received the proper attention of researchers. Better understanding the post-fire behavior of these columns by measuring their residual strength and deformation is critical for achieving the minimum repair level required for structures damaged in the fire. Therefore, to develop this model, 19 groups of confined and unconfined specimens with the variables including the volume ratio of steel fibers, tire rubber content, diameter-to-thickness (D/t) ratio of the steel tube, and exposure temperature were considered. The ABAQUS software was employed to model the tested specimens so that the accurate behavior of the FE-modeled specimens could be examined under test conditions. To achieve desirable results for the modeling of the specimens, in addition to the novel procedure described in this research, the modified versions of models presented by previous researchers were also utilized. After the completion of modeling, the load-axial strain and load-lateral strain relationships, ultimate strength, and failure mode of the modeled CFST specimens were evaluated against the test data, through which the satisfactory accuracy of this modeling procedure was established. Afterward, using a parametric study, the effect of factors such as the concrete core strength at different temperatures and the D/t ratio on the behavior of the CFST columns was explored. Finally, the compressive strength values obtained from the FE model were compared with the corresponding values predicted by various codes, the results of which indicated that most codes were conservative in terms of these predictions.

In this study, a study on the performance and aging of explosive bolts stored for a long time among pyrotechnic mechanical devices(PMD) used as separation devices in the defense field is conducted. For this, explosive bolts that had been installed in the weapon system for about 10 years are secured. Performance and life extension test procedures are established based on the AIAA Standard and MIL-STD. Before performance evaluation, non-functional tests are performed to check whether external changes or failures occurred. Next, circuit inspection and X-ray tests are conducted to check the failure in internal circuits and structures. After that, performance test is carried out to confirm the operation of the samples that passed the non-functional test. Through this test, separation of bolt and separation time are measured, and some samples are tested after a high temperature storage test to confirm the remaining life and the possibility of extension. Finally, the remaining life and reliability are predicted based on the results of the test and the Arrhenius model to identify remaining shelf life and reliability depend on time.
