As we enter a super-aged society, studies are being conducted to reduce complications and deaths caused by falls in elderly adults. Research is being conducted on interventions for preventing falls in the elderly, wearable devices for detecting falls, and methods for improving the performance of fall detection algorithms. Wearable devices for detecting falls of the elderly generally use gyro sensors. In addition, to improve the performance of the fall detection algorithm, an artificial intelligence algorithm is applied to the x, y, z coordinate data collected from the gyro sensor. In this paper, we develop a wearable device that uses a gyro sensor, body temperature, and heart rate sensor for health management as well as fall detection for the elderly. In addition, we develop a fall detection and health management system that works with wearable devices and a guardian's mobile app to improve the performance of the fall detection algorithm and provide health information to guardians.

Thermal comfort by wearing clothes is the important element which gives influence to a clothing comfort. The thermal comfort of clothes have been evaluated by sensory test and physical property of clothes material. To evaluate a thermophysiological comfort. a new evaluation method which measures the physiological response such as electroencephalogram(EEG) is attracting the attention of many people. In the chilly environment, the EEGs in t재 kinds of thermal conditions : with and without clothes were measured. By utilizing the chaos analysis, the behavior of the obtained EEGs were quantiatively expressed in the correlation dimension. As a result, the correlation dimension of the EEGs in being thermal comfortable feeling by putting on clothes, was bigger than the correlation dimension of the EEGs in being cold and discomfort. These results suggest that chaotic analysis of EEG is effective to the quantitative evaluation of thermal esthesis.

본 연구는 교수의 연구 활동과 성과를 바탕으로 교수의 역량이 대학의 기술이전 성과에 미치는 영향력 분석을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해서 기술이전 경험이 있는 이공계 분야 교수 80명의 개별 데이터를 수집하여 논문 질적 수준, 특허활동, 정부지원 연구비 규모, 민간 연구비 규모, 임용 전 산업체 경력, 임용 후 경력, 연구팀 규모가 기술이전 성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 주요 연구 결과로 대학에서 교수의 특허활동, 민간 연구비 규모, 교수 임용 후 경력이 기술이전에 영향을 주는 요인으로 분석되었다.

최근에는 컴퓨팅 자원이 크게 증가하여, 인터넷을 통해 연결된 수많은 컴퓨팅 자원들을 다수의 사용자가 이용하고 어떻게 서비스 할 것인가에 대한 클라우드 컴퓨팅 또는 그리드 컴퓨팅 기술이 주목받고 있으며 또한 네트워크에서도 물리적 네트워크 위에 가상의 네트워크 링크와 노드을 구성하여 가상의 네트워크를 구성하는 가상 네트워크 환경 연구가 이뤄지고 있다. 가상화 기술은 네트워크 보다는 실질적으로 운영체제 분야에서 오랫동안 연구되고 발전되고 있으나 본 논문에서는 네트워크 분야에 적용된 가상화기술을 토대로 모바일 네트워크에 적용된 가상 모바일 네트워크에 대하여 살펴보도록 하겠다.

In shipbuilding, 2D manufacturing drawings are crucial for building a ship. Even various types of 3D models are being utilized for supporting ship manufacturing, which does not reduce the importance of 2D drawings. Recently things are changing in the shipbuilding industry. To reduce the number of 2D drawings or to reduce the quantity of information contained in 2D drawings, some attempts that can substitute for 2D drawings are being made. One of the attempts is to visualize lightweight 3D manufacturing models in a mobile device. In this paper, a method for displaying lightweight 3D models of a ship in an Android based device is introduced. To overcome the problem with parsing JT files in Android system, JT files are parsed in a Windows based server and as-simple-as-possible visualization data are transmitted to an Android based viewer. A comparison result with a commercial system is also given.

Currently, research on more convenient and safer cars for drivers and passengers, the intelligent cars, are being actively conducted. The researches involve designing systems that intelligently minimize physical damages caused by car accidents, not just pursuing passive safety measures like airbags or safety belts. However, there are many cases around the world where airbags cannot be activated in times of accidents and it is difficult for consumers to check if their airbags will be activated, especially for the old-style cars. Thus, in this paper, a base technology for an application that can determine whether the airbags will actually be actuated at a critical moment based on the mechanical calculations is being introduced.

This study analyzed the causal relationship between positive psychological capital and psychological well-being of hospital administrative staff among the medical institution workers who were hard to find in previous studies. The purpose of this study is to suggest the policy implications to improve the psychological well-being level of the hospital administrative staff through the analysis results. For the empirical analysis of variables, self-efficacy, hope, optimism, and resilience were selected as the independent variables. Selfacceptance, positive relations with others and autonomy were selected as dependent variables. The results of empirical analysis showed that there is a significant relationship between the variables and theoretical and policy implications were suggested based on these results.

This study is intended to realize an intelligent controller using fuzzy control algorithms in order to recycle energy by recycling the waste water heat discharged by waste water heat collection boilers. Using waste water inflow temperature changes and waste water inflow amount changes as parameters, we present characteristic curves of the number of compressors being operated at fixed speeds and the temperature of hot water being discharged. We propose an intelligent controller that determines the optimum number of compressors being operated at fixed speeds in real time by measuring changes in the temperature and amount of waste water inflows in order to minimize the number of compressors being operated at fixed speeds relative to the waste water load flowing into the waste water heat collection boiler.

In this paper, we design and develop a personalized advertisement and information services system based on mobile RFID using RFID virtual tag. It is a system to perform the use of the contents information or the commercial transaction on the contents products through internet server connection by using RFID tag information with a mobile according as transmitting immediately to a cell phone after a tag generator derived RFID tag information to be substituted for the contents information being output at present, after being transmitted from a cell phone the information request signal on the contents information being output from video media. This service system provides a mechanism for gathering advertisement information left behind by many clients visiting advertisement sites for analysis of customers property, service model for selecting personalized services, and mechanism for providing them to customers who visited in a advertisement mall joined to the shopping site.
