STRONG CONVERGENCE OF AN EXTENDED EXTRAGRADIENT METHOD FOR EQUILIBRIUM PROBLEMS AND FIXED POINT PROBLEMS

  • In this paper, we introduced a new extended extragradient iteration algorithm for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping and the set of solutions of equilibrium problems for a monotone and Lipschitz-type continuous mapping. And we show that the iterative sequences generated by this algorithm converge strongly to the common element in a real Hilbert space.

  • 이동식차량측량시스템(이하 MMS)는 정밀도로지도를 제작하는데 가장 효과적인 도구이다. MMS는 다양한 센서의 조합으로 이루어져 있으며, 제조사별로 제작방법과 처리 소프트웨어가 다르기 때문에 부품의 사양만으로 성능을 예측할 수 없다. 따라서 성능평가를 통해 각 장비가 정밀도로지도 제작에 적합한지 판단을 해야 하며, 주기적인 성능평가를 위한 시설이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 한국건설기술연구원의 SOC실증연구센터에 구축한 MMS 성능평가시설에 대해 설명하고, 문헌조사와 실험을 통해 평가시설이 갖추어야 할 조건에 대해 분석하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 시간제약 조건을 고려한 새로운 CPLD 기술매핑 알고리즘을 제안한다. 본 기술매핑 알고리즘은 주어진 논리식을 DAG로 구성하여 각 노드를 검색한 후, 출력에지가 2이상인 노드를 분할하지 않고 노드를 복제(replication)하여 DAG을 재구성함으로써 지연시간과 CLB의 개수가 최소화 되도록 하였다. 즉, 시간제약 조건과 소자의 지연시간을 이용하여 그래프 분할이 가능한 다단의 수를 정한다. 그런 다음 각 노드의 초기비용과 전체비용을 계산하여 CLB의 k-OR텀수보다 비용이 초과되는 노드를 분할하여 서브그래프를 구성한다. 분할된 서브그래프들은 collapsing을 통해 노드들을 병합하고 네 번째로 주어진 소자의 CLB안에 있는 k-OR텀 개수에 맞게 Bin packing를 수행하였다. 본 논 문에서 제안한 기술매핑 알고리즘을 MCNC 논리합성 벤치마크 회로들에 적용하여 실험한 결과 기존의 기술 매핑 툴인 TEMPLA에 비해 CLB의 개수가 18% 감소되었다.

NURBS 곡면과 면적사상법을 이용한 압출 금형 곡면의 표현방법에 관한 연구 (Investigation on the Description Method of Extrusion Die Surface using NURBS Surface and Area Mapping Method)

  • In order to construct the extrusion die surface of arbitrarily shaped sections, an automatic surface construction method based on NURBS surface and area mapping method is proposed in the present work. A center point fur area mapping is determined by introducing the mapping concept based on constant area proportionality between original billet and final product. The characteristic points of inlet profile are determined using the traditional area mapping method and the root finding numerical method. The inlet and outlet profiles are precisely described with NURBS curves using the characteristic points of entry and exit sections. For the construction of NURBS surface, an interpolation method for the pre-determined two section curves has been developed to be used in the generation of interior control points and weights. To show the validity of the proposed method, automatic die surface generation is carried out for the several kinds of shaped sections.

  • Over the years, cultural mapping methods have been used in several applications and contexts, for diverse cultural assets and to create new conditions for the development of local and regional resources. These methods were inspired by the development of big urban centres and regions, which have been the great engine of cultural mapping growth. The main objectives of the present paper are to provide a literature review on cultural mapping methodologies and to develop exploratory research on crowdsource tools on creative tourism which were applied to one Portuguese municipality in 2017. The research was supported by the implementation and integration of geographic information systems (GIS) and web mapping, which will become part of the solution for the growth of less developed territories and to make more interactive tourist activities. Web mapping's contribution to enhance crowd participation was measured via analysis of 12 digital photos shared through crowdsourcing. The originality of this research lies in the attempt to develop a new model for creative tourism, trying to extend the implementation of Web Mapping crowdsourcing to deprived low density territories. Results show how public participation can be amplified for the tourism market by crowdsourcing tools. These tools look very promising since they can help several members of the public at different ages to contribute to territorial knowledge, engage in activities, and collaborate through digital tools. It is a step to fulfil the lack of studies in this subject and it contributes to the way we think about future studies.

An Efficient Bit-Level Lossless Grayscale Image Compression Based on Adaptive Source Mapping

  • Image compression is an essential technique for saving time and storage space for the gigantic amount of data generated by images. This paper introduces an adaptive source-mapping scheme that greatly improves bit-level lossless grayscale image compression. In the proposed mapping scheme, the frequency of occurrence of each symbol in the original image is computed. According to their corresponding frequencies, these symbols are sorted in descending order. Based on this order, each symbol is replaced by an 8-bit weighted fixed-length code. This replacement will generate an equivalent binary source with an increased length of successive identical symbols (0s or 1s). Different experiments using Lempel-Ziv lossless image compression algorithms have been conducted on the generated binary source. Results show that the newly proposed mapping scheme achieves some dramatic improvements in regards to compression ratios.

  • An inverse finite element approach is employed for more capability to design the optimum blank shape from the desired final shape with small amount of computation time and effort. In some drawing or stamping simulation with inverse method, it is difficult to apply inverse scheme due to the large aspect ratio or steep vertical angle of inclination. The reason is that initial guesses are hard to make out with present method for those cases. In this paper, a direct mesh marring scheme to generate initial guess on the sliding constraint surface described by finite element patches is suggested for one step inverse analysis to calculate initial blank shape. Radial type mapping is adopted for the simulation of rectangular cup drawing process with large aspect ratio and parallel type mapping for the simulation of S-Rail forming process with steep vertical angle of inclination.

  • Recently, there are growing interests in building LCCO2 Assessment to reduce carbon emissions. However, existing methods of assessment system include inefficiency in the process of CO2 calculation requiring considerable data input. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop an efficient building assessment system appropriate to material production in construction stage. To that end, quantity input technology was limited to data mapping. Also quantity calculation based on work breakdown structure and item codes consisted of hierarchical structure that is based on facet classification were analyzed. As a result, connectivity links of quantity calculation and CO2 functional units through item codes for data mapping, and assessment system including calculation and database parts were developed.

  • On the basis of comprehensive analysis and summarization of the image fusion algorithms provided by PCI Geomatica software, deficiencies in image fusion processing functions of this software are put forwarded in this paper. This limitation could be improved by further developing PCI Geomatica on the user’ side. Five effective algorithms could be added into PCI Geomatica. In this paper, the detailed description of how to customize and further develop PCI Geomatica by using Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0, PCI SDK Kit and GDB technique is also given. Through this way, the remote sensing imagery fusion functions of PCI Geomatica software can be extended.
