ESTIMATION TECHNIQUE Of AIR CONTENT IN TUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID BY MEASURING EFFECTIVE BULK MODULUS

  • It is well known that the entrained air in oil causes appreciable reduction in the stiffness of hydraulic systems. It makes the response delay of the systems and sometimes destroys the stability. Because the hydraulic systems of automatic transmissions are operated in relatively low pressure and high temperature, it is very important to analyze the effects of the air included in automatic transmission fluid. However, it is difficult to derive the generalized model to describe the effective bulk modulus theoretically or measure it in actual operating conditions of automatic transmissions. This paper reviews previous studies of the air effects in hydraulic systems and the measurement techniques of the effective bulk modulus in operating conditions. Based on this work, the theoretical model with moderate complexity and the measurement technique of the effective bulk modulus considering entrained air effect at real operating conditions are suggested. Our paper also shows that the quantity of the entrained air in the automatic transmission fluid can be estimated from the experimental results.

  • Fuel flexibility remains a critical issue related the development of low emission lean premixed combustion system and the combustion adjustment technique. To cover the this work scope with our own technology, KEPCO had focused on operational technology related to GT combustion control. The main purpose of this paper is summary of the research works on fuel flexibility in KRPCO Research Institute recently. Furthermore, the specifications of test facility and research work in the future in KEPRI were also explained briefly for expected collaborative research team in Korea.

  • The Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is a primary tool which provides a framework that defines clear scope of all deliverables throughout the project life cycle. Once the WBS is established in projects, it should allow project team members to measure and manage work performances by the WBS; further, it should provide a reference point when any work scope needs to be redefined. Based on the project information in the Progress and Performance Measurement System (PPMS) of UAE's Barakha Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) projects, an attempt was made to develop a new WBS which provides hierarchical and systematical decomposition of the total work scope of NPP construction projects while avoiding from the preexistence concept in Korean NPP projects that the WBS is a combination of Physical Breakdown Structure (PBS) and Functional Breakdown Structure (FBS). The unique features of the new WBS are as follows: (1) defined the definition of each level of the WBS, (2) subdivided the WBS into 5 hierarchical levels, and (3) adopted globally used general coding structure. The new WBS provides a basic hierarchical structure for the project scope and can be used as a basic tool for schedule control, performance measurement, project status monitoring, and communication among project participants. In addition, by putting the Work Package (WP) under the WBS, the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) per WP can be utilized for the project.

자기효능감, 조직문화 및 팀 성과의 관계에서 지식공유의 매개효과 (Mediating Effect of the Knowledge Sharing in the relationship among Self-efficacy, Organization Culture, and Team Performance)

  • 본 연구에서는 자기효능감과 조직문화가 조직 내의 팀 성과에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 외부변수로는 자기효능감, 조직의 개방성, 공유문화, 경쟁문화를 선정하였으며 지식공유를 매개변수로 선정하였다. 종속변수로는 팀 성과를 선정하여 외생변수 및 매개변수가 종속변수에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지에 대해 조사 하였다. 데이터는 국내 건설회사에 종사하는 임원진 100명을 대상으로 설문지조사를 통해 수집하였으며 수집된 데이터는 확인적 요인분석과 구조방정식을 적용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 자기효능감, 공유문화, 경쟁문화는 지식공유 및 팀 성과에 직 간접적으로 모두 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으나 조직의 개방성은 지식공유나 팀 성과에 통계적으로 유의미하게 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 지식관리 활동과 업무성과와의 구조적인 관계를 파악하여 효과적인 지식 공유를 위한 전략을 제시하는데 이용될 수 있다.

Effective Internal Marketing Based on Cooperation Perception and Relational Diversity

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine under what conditions suggestion programs conducted by organizations actually increase individual perception of their work effectiveness. Specifically, this study looks into the effects of cooperation perception and relational demography of employee on work effectiveness of suggestion programs. It does this by focusing on the interaction effect of organizational commitment. Research design, data and methodology: Data was collected from 1,872 participants who took part in the suggestion program of HCCP 6th DATA. This data was subjected to multiple regression analysis. Results: a) higher employee cooperation perception enhances work effectiveness of suggestion program, but relational difference of knowledge diversity between team members has no effect on work efficiency; b) Positive effect of cooperation perception, and difference in education level on work effectiveness become greater as commitment increases. However, organizational commitment decreases the positive effect of difference in organizational tenure on work effectiveness by suggestion program. Conclusion: The results point to the importance of broadening the current conceptual models of employee work effectiveness of suggestion program to include relational demography, as well as the utility of conducting additional cross-level research on suggestion programs.

공유리더십이 팀효능감과 팀조직시민행동, 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Shared Leadership on Team Efficacy, Team Organizational Citizenship Behavior, and Turnover Intentions)

  • 기업환경이 불확실해지고 복잡화되고 있는 상황에서 구성원들의 협력적이고 긍정적인 상호작용을 이끌어갈 리더십이 필수적이다. 즉, 구성원들이 자발적 리더십을 통해 의견을 공유하고 업무를 진행할 경우 불확실한 도전에 보다 효과적으로 대응하고, 목표하는 경영성과에 가까워진다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 최근에 이슈가 되고 있는 공유리더십의 중요성을 밝히고자 한다. 공유리더십이 팀효능감과 팀조직시민행동, 이직의도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 한다. 부산 내 팀조직에서 근무하는 구성원을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 공유리더십이 팀효능감에 미치는 영향은 각각 계획과 조직화 0.202(C.R.=2.853), 문제해결 0.463(C.R.=5.620), 지원과 배려 0.237(C.R.=3.326), 개발과 멘토링 0.366(C.R.=5.132)으로 설정된 가설과 같이 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 팀효능감이 팀조직시민행동과 이직의도에 미치는 영향은 각각 0.545(C.R.=5.895), -0.143(C.R.=-0.817)로 팀효능감은 팀조직시민행동에 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만 팀효능감은 이직의도에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

  • In analysis of power transformer loss using calculation of magnetic field, Finite element method is commonly used. When using this method, calculation of magnetic field needs the very large number of elements and the performance of common work station is not sufficient to calculate the magnetic fields. In addition, the definition of boundary conditions may arise. However, When using Integral equation method, only ferromagnetic materials need to be modeled, since the domain is infinite. All the space in which the primary and secondary sources exist is regarded as free(${\mu}={\mu}_0$).

  • The circuit simulation analysis and diagnosis methods are used to instruments in detail when they give apparently abnormal readings. In this paper, a new simulator through an analysis of the important circuits modeling under severe accident conditions has been designed, the realization for a body work instead of the two sorts of the Labview & Pspice as an one order command in the Labview program. The program can be shown the output graph form the circuit modeling as an order commend. The procedure for the simulator design was divided into two design steps, of which the first step was the diagnosis methods, the second step was the circuit simulator for the signal processing tool. It has three main functions which are a signal processing tool, an accident management tool, and an additional guide from the initial screen.

Introduction of Integrated Management of Satellite Imagery Information

  • The high prices of satellite images prevent researchers from studying remote sensing and most non-professional people doesn't have the simple and easy solutions for the manipulation of satellite images. "Integrated Management of Satellite Imagery Information" project which will be promoted by ETRI (Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute) will provide the solutions for the above mentioned problems. We will introduce the archiving center in this study. This includes the data construction, storage, management and distribution. We first review the background for this archiving center and introduce the interior and foreign institutes which archive and distribute satellite images. We review our H/W system and S/W system briefly. Finally, the further service of our project will be suggested. Since we will distribute the satellite images (Landsat, SPOT, JERS, Corona, Kompast-1) and will receive Landsat7 ETM+ in 2003 you, this will help the professional work dealing with the satellite image and attract the non-professional people for simple and easy manipulation solutions of satellite image.

Clinical Outcome of a Precontoured Symphysis Pubis Plate with Tension Band Wiring for Traumatic Symphysis Pubis Rupture in Pelvic Fractures

  • Purpose: The optimal method of fixation of symphysis pubis (SP) diastasis in pelvic ring injuries is still controversial. In this study, we investigated the radiological and the clinical results of a precontoured 4.5-mm symphysis pubis (SP) plate with tension band wiring (TBW) after an anterior pelvic injury in pelvic fractures. Methods: We treated 25 patients with traumatic SP diastasis by open reduction and internal fixation with plates and wires. We used a four-hole 4.5-mm precontoured SP plate with a tension band wiring. Results: Patients with a SP with TBW fixation achieved excellent or good results at final follow-up. Post-operative complications included two (8%) patients with metal work movement. The mean symphyseal width was smaller in 4.5 mm SP plate with TBW during 1-year follow up period. Conclusion: A precontoured symphysis pubis plate (4.5 mm) with figure-of-eight fashion tension band wiring shows favorable radiological results, excellent or good clinical outcome, and a lower complication (hardware failure and revision surgery).
