This study is largely aimed at presenting ways to improve the working clothes and help companies create more positive images by suggesting designs of the clothes, which take into accounts the corporate image, symbolism, function and aesthetic appreciation through introduction of companies' CIP. And, it is significant to propose working clothes development condition and process with introduction of companies' CIP(Corporate Identity Program : work that systematize and simplify visually images which companies or public bodies have) A way of this study was made up with working clothes design development process which a student planned. First of all, this study looked into Company D's Corporate Identity Program(CIP) to develop the design that corresponds with the characteristics of the company's favorite design, working environment and demands of the employees. And, then, the study conducted a survey of 30 employees and intensive interviews with heads of four teams including the Safety Team, the Working Clothes Management Team and the General Affairs Team to find out the requirements of the clothes and the characteristics of the company. Based on them, the concrete image that the company pursues and the direction of design were set up through image positioning. In the end, three different concept designs were presented through image-mapping and the concrete design of each item was developed. A total of seven items including upper and lower garments (a jacket and trousers) for the spring-summer seasons, upper and lower garments (a jumper and trousers) for the winter season, cold-protecting vest and winter clothes (a coat and trousers) were presented in accordance with the three concepts. One of the concept designs, which was selected through evaluation by employees of Company D, was produced as a sample and then the final design was chosen after a discussion attended by the head of each team and representatives of the employees. Based on the aforementioned design planning, one design was selected from each of the three concept designs for production. And each of these was requested to special production enterprise and manufactured. Following the result of study, by looking into a case of a practical joint design project between a university and a company, this study suggested ideas for business to improve working clothes through the academic-industrial cooperation and presented conditions and process of design development. And, this study also aims to examine the feasibility of academic-industrial cooperation based on the cases in which enterprises and universities staged joint projects to develop working clothes.

In this study, the school crisis response system and intervention are examined in the U.S. by reviewing Crisis Response Team(CRT) to give a direction for establishing and improving the school crisis response system in Korea. To do this, a literature review has been conducted focusing on domestic and foreign literature on the school - based crisis response system about the U.S. and Korea. The characteristics of the school-based CRT in the U.S. are as follows. First, in the U.S., the organizational structure and financial support for school - based crisis response has been stated by law so that the roles and responsibilities of region, district, school have been clearly defined. Second, in the event of a school crisis, the school have been shared the role of professional crisis response according to the Incident Command System and coordinates communication smoothly between each area of society through cooperation with CRT. Third, CRT prevents burnout by showing flexibility in team composition so that CRT members are not tired or overwhelmed by a crisis event, and focuses on strengthening the crisis capability of the school itself through cooperation between the school and CRT. Fourth, the school-based CRT in the U.S. conducts a step by step crisis intervention from prevention to prolonged post management. Based on these results, implications for the establishment and improvement of school-based crisis response system in Korea are discussed.

Military Vehicles of the Korean army had been developed before 2004 and used manual transmissions. Manual transmissions contain a clutch system regulating the force from engine to transmission. In this study, a 2.5-ton military vehicle's clutch system was investigated. The existing clutch system had the characteristics that need to adjust the clearance between the clutch cover and release bearing. Improper clearance led to early wear of the clutch disk and failure of the clutch cover. To solve these problems, an improved clutch system was suggested and tested. The improved clutch system contains auto adjustment of the clearance and an enhanced clutch disk. To verify the improved clutch systems, 2 stage tests were conducted: an accelerated life test of the clutch system, and a driving test by trainee of driving more than 3,000km. As a result, the problems caused by the improper clearance adjustment were solved and this design was verified.

Thin-walled tubes have been widely used as energy absorbing devices because they are light and have high energy-absorption efficiency. However, the downside is that conventional thin-walled tubes usually exhibit an excessive initial peak crushing force (IPCF) and a large fluctuation in the load-displacement curve, and thus lack stability as energy absorbing devices. Corrugated tubes were introduced to reduce IPCF and to increase the stability of collision energy-absorbing devices. Since the performance of corrugated tubes is highly influence by geometry, design optimization methods can be utilized to optimize the performance of corrugated tubes. In this paper, we utilize shape design optimization based on an adaptive surrogate model for crashworthiness analysis. The amplitude and wavelength of the corrugation, as well as curvature changes in the features, are the design variables. A morphing methodology is adopted to perform shape design parameterization. Through numerical examples, we compare optimal design results based on the adaptive surrogate model, with optimal results based on conventional surrogate models, and we show that direct optimal design methods produce more efficient results.

This paper describes the development of unmanned vehicle remote control system which is configured with steering and accelerating/braking hardware to improve the sense of reality and safety of control. Generally, in these case of the remote control system, a joystick-type device is used for steering and accelerating/braking control of unmanned vehicle in most cases. Other systems have been developing using simple steering wheel, but there is no function of that feedback the feeling of driving situation to users and it mostly doesn't include the accelerating/braking control hardware. The technology of feedback means that a reproducing the feeling of current driving situation through steering and accelerating/braking hardware when driving a vehicle in person. In addition to studying feedback technologies that reduce unfamiliarity in remote control of unmanned vehicles, it is necessary to develop the remote control system with hardware that can improve sense of reality. Therefore, in this study, the reliable remote control system is developed and required system specification is defined for applying force-feedback haptic control technology developed through previous research. The system consists of a steering-wheel module similar to a normal vehicle and an accelerating/braking pedal module with actuators to operate by feedback commands. In addition, the software environment configured by CAN communication to send feedback commands to each modules. To verify the reliability of the remote control system, the force-feedback haptic control algorithms developed through previous research were applied, to assess the behavior of the algorithms in each situation.

The naval surface vessels, which were often exposed to harsh marine environment, tended to be corrosive due to military operations on various sea-areas and courses. Although R.O.K Navy applied various methods to protect further corrosion, the hull corrosion occurred due to cavitation were found on the naval surface vessels at regular and occasional docking. Hull corrosion was a critical factor directly to affect the lifetime of ships and their operational capabilities adversely. In this paper, EH 2350, which was the main anticorrosion paint used by R.O.K. Navy, was compared with DuraTough DL by used by the U.S Navy to collect materials related to anti-corrosion paint. In addition, the paint compatibility verification was conducted through wear abrasion test. Assuming that it was exposed to sea-environment various both abrasion cycle and weight for objective verification. by varying both the abrasion cycles and weights. In this study, the reliability of the EH 2350 conformity, which was used in Naval surface vessels, was secured.

This study examined the trend of standards established in the United States and to find points that can be applied to Korean defense standards. The titles of various United States defense standard documents registered on the web were selected for this research. The wordcloud was created after analyzing the frequency of words appearing in the title using text mining. The trend of words appearing in MIL-STD by era was obtained. This study identified words that appear often due to the format of the document itself, words that appear regularly throughout the era, words that are used frequently in the past but are not used much in the present, and words that did not receive attention in the past but appeared recurrently in the present. In addition, the characteristics of each document were derived through the wordcloud produced for various defense documents. In conclusion, Korean defense standards also require a consideration of safe and efficient management, transport, and load design of hazardous materials. Furthermore, the quality of defense standards can be expected to improve if the defense standard document system can be established, focusing on efficient management.

Recently, due to the increasing necessity of developing core parts for weapons systems, the project for localization of parts for weapons systems is expanding. In order to apply the developed core parts to the domestic weapon system and advance into the overseas market, it is necessary to plan a project that reflects the technology trends in advance. This study derived trend of technology development through conducting the patent research and analysis. Also, suggested plan for applying the analysis results when project planning and selecting. As a detailed method, patents related to the 2019 year selection project were investigated. The number of patent applications by year and number of applicants from the time of the first application to the present were analyzed. And the growth stage of the technology market was derived. The comprehensive result was derieved through the portfolio analysis by arranging the parts localization technology in each area of the matrix consisting of market growth stage and the criteria for the selection of parts localization project. This research suggested the applying plan for improving project selection process. we expect the promotion of defense industry and the effective task planning.

The purpose of this study was to identify citizens' needs and what they perceive the health-related problems are so public opinion can be reflected in the Daegu Community Health Plan. A citizen participation group was organized, and two roundtable discussions were held in June and July 2018. The number of participants in the first and second round was 40 and 44, respectively. Customer itinerary guidance, DVDM (Definition, Value, Difficulty, and Method) Map, and Persona-based scenario method were used for the roundtable discussions. The measures to improve the health status proposed by the citizens included expanding access to health services, establishing health services centered on small-living areas, expanding mental health services, creating health-friendly environments, resolving environmental problems, and improving social health. In addition, enhancing communication and creating harmonized environments, improving access to healthcare, generating pleasant physical environments, and assigning socials roles for vulnerable individuals were brought up as the means to resolve health disparities. The strength of the present study lies in the fact that, unlike survey methods, the citizens' exact needs were identified by sharing their thoughts. Moreover, it was proven that practical measures would be needed to implement citizen participation in planning health-related projects.
In an effort to identify predictors of job performance, research studies in social work administration has been so far on the individual practitioners' levels of knowledge and skills, which could be used in a workplace. As the theoretical concept of organizational environment was fully introduced into social work administration research, however, studies on practitioners' job performance began to have interest in the team or the organizational level variables as well as individual level variables. Along the course of this tendency, this study attempted to test the effect of individual, team, and organizational level variables on the job performance of human service workers. The individual level variables consisted of knowledge, skills, job satisfaction, personality, and counter-productive work behaviors of workers. The team or the organizational level variables included situational constraint, organizational justice, job characteristics, government-dependency, and inter-organizational cooperation. Multi-level complex survey data collected by cluster sampling method from 314 practitioners in 23 organizations were analyzed using Hierarchial Linear Model. Results showed that both task and contextual performance were affected by individual, team, and organizational level variables in various ways.
