This study was conducted as a part of the project to establish professional development system(PDS) for teachers in Korea. This study aimed to provide a case of running a professional learning community(PLC) of teachers in science education based on the collaboration of a national university of education and its affiliated elementary school, in search of learning by participants and implications for professional development of teachers as well as for science teaching in elementary schools. Teachers and researchers who participated in the PLC were able to accumulate meaningful experiences through 11 rounds of meetings. It was not easy to secure enough time for meetings, but they were able to boost their self-confidence for science teaching and enhance the quality of lessons through these gatherings. Participating teachers had a chance to share instructional design, planning, strategies and practices, which include cases of guiding free-choice research activities among students, thereby to be motivated for improved science teaching for the future. The researcher participating in this PLC was also able to understand the identity of an elementary school, especially the affiliated school, and identify the reality and difficulties related to science teaching in schools. Experiences of participating in PLC are expected to help improve the quality of science teaching in affiliated elementary school and pre-service teacher education of the university.

Globalization, development of the information society, intensification of migration processes, and internationalization of education in recent years have significantly affected the international labour market and increased competition between professionals in various fields. Academic, research and teaching staff are currently facing rapid changes and growing demand for quality educational services. Under such conditions, educational institutions around the world pay particular attention to improving the quality of the educational process in order for their graduates to be able to compete in the international labour market. The study of the experience of teachers' professional training in advanced countries opens new opportunities for improving the system of pedagogical training in Ukraine in order to adapt it to the requirements of the European educational space. The progressive achievements of countries demonstrating a high level of teachers' professional training in accordance with international standards, having rich historical educational traditions are of considerable scientific interest; consequently, this contributes to their leadership in science and education at the regional and global levels. The purpose of the present academic paper lies in analysing the latest trends in exploring teaching experience in the European countries and performance review of passing by students and teachers of the program on studying of pedagogical practice and experience of teaching in the countries of Europe. Methodology. Analytical and empirical (questionnaire) methods were used in the research process. Results. According to the obtained results of the research, the advantages, the most common areas of educational programs and the wishes of the participants regarding the practical implementation of the experience were identified.

This study investigated the purpose and role of class evaluation standards and the reason to develop these teaching standards using literature review, survey, classroom observation and teacher interviews. Based on the teachers’opinion, we also investigated who should develop teaching standards and who will benefit most from the standards. In sum, the standards for teaching evaluation should help to form (a) the guidelines for beginners, (b) the directives for specialists, (c) the principles for grasping areas for improvements, and (d) the means for communicating with other communities. In addition, teachers should take responsibility for developing teaching standards as the basis for evaluating their own work and improving their own professional learning to provide quality assurance. The development of subject specific teaching standards is not possible without active participation of teachers as well as other stakeholders in education.

Teaching orientations represent teachers' general way of conceptualizing their teaching. The orientations are regarded as a very important factor in developing teachers' pedagogical content knowledge because they often guide their instructional decisions such as the selection of contents and teaching strategies, the use of curricula materials, and the evaluation of learning. Thus, understanding teachers' orientations can provide meaningful suggestions to understand their instructional approaches and furthermore to enhance the quality of engineering education in college. The research question for this present study was what kinds of teaching orientations engineering professors possessed in teaching engineering courses and how the orientations were represented in their teaching. Six engineering professors, particularly interested in instructional approaches, participated in the research. The data sources included in-depth interviews with individual professors, classroom observations with field notes, and related documents. In results, four teaching orientations toward engineering courses were identified: 1) expert knowledge in engineering, 2) engineering practice, 3) social practice, and 4) interdisciplinary design. Individual professors had between one to three different teaching orientations. Even though the professors had similar orientations but their instructional strategies somewhat varied based on the disciplines.

This study focuses on the teaching of fraction related to curriculum, introducing time of fraction, the meaning of fractions in textbook, material of teaching of fraction concept, teaching model of introducing time of fraction concept, special cases of teaching fraction and common points of representation of fraction among Korea, New Zealand and Singapore. For this study, Korea's mathematics textbooks(3-1, 3-2, 4-1, 5-1, 6-1) and New National Curriculum Mathematics(3, 4, 5. 6. 7)of New Zealand and New Syllabus Primary Mathematics(2B, 3B, 4A, 4B, 5A, 6A)of Singapore were selected for comparison and analysis. As a results we will suggest a reference to the development of mathematical curriculum, teaching fraction and improving the quality of the textbook through a method of comparative analysis of Korea, New Zealand and Singapore.

The present research aimed to assess role expectations and job performance of childcare teaching assistants at daycare centers. In order to describe participants' experiences, qualitative data were analyzed using Van Manen's phenomenological approach. The findings showed that childcare teaching assistants suffered a gap between their role expectations and reality. They felt diverse emotions and doubt about their professionalism through interactions with teachers in charge, directors, parents, and children. The participants claimed that the Nuri curriculum teaching assistants system should be improved to achieve better quality childcare programs. The implications to support the Nuri curriculum teaching assistants system were discussed in depth.

The mission of the modern medical school includes education, research, and patient care. The clinical clerkship is an important part of the core curriculum, and hospital facilities are needed for the clinical clerkship. However, unfortunately, education has moved to the periphery during the past several decades because of the dominance of research and patient care. This may lead to obstacles in the education of future physicians in the long term. To promote their education mission, teaching hospitals need to recognize and share the importance of this mission. In addition to the certification of teaching hospitals, a new paradigm for teaching hospitals should be introduced to produce a high quality clinical clerkship and postgraduate medical education. The relevant government departments need to allocate and expand financial support to medical schools and teaching hospitals, and to unify supervision of basic and postgraduate medical education.

The promulgation of the overall framework of Chinese students' development of core literacy has made the implementation of core literacy into specific teaching activities an urgent problem to be solved in the field of education. Based on the analysis of the problems existing in the undergraduate education under the mode of emphasizing theory and neglecting practice, this paper constructs the practical teaching system of Database Principle Course Based on the core quality, expounds the implementation strategy of practical teaching, and probes into how to train the students in the practical teaching of database principle Cultivate scientific spirit, learning ability, practical innovation, responsibility and other core literacy. After 5 rounds of practice, students have achieved better development in independent development and collaborative work, and their awareness of practical innovation has been significantly improved.

Purpose - This paper's goal is to assess and promote several good teaching product designs and several learning environments. The paper discusses research product design learning and management. Research design, data, and methodology - As part of information science and technology, a school uses several teaching networks for auxiliary teaching, taking several designs as the teaching foundation, and creating multimedia curricula. Results - The results indicate that in the best learning designs and environments, the learner can maintain a high interest, which not only attracts all levels in the schools, but also has a pivotal influence on teaching around the world. The research study answers the question, was the atmosphere already luxurious? Conclusions - This study introduces several methodologies that are widely used for experimental processes. Using multi-criterion decision-making technology in studies of language product evaluation systems, the language teaching quality and space design is developed, and the language classroom learning system, the machine operation, the classroom environment design method, etc., conform to specifics of the study, the best choices, the most effective utilization, and are the most efficient.

This paper investigates the challenges and outlook of textbook teaching and learning material industry. 1. The challenges of teaching and learning material industry. First, classification criteria are needed. Second, Evaluation Standard are needed. Third, quality control is needed. Fourth, ready-made products are insufficient. Fifth, economic policy for teaching and learning material industry is required. Sixth, manage system for teaching and learning material is necessary. Seventh, distribution system for teaching and learning material should be reformed. 2. The outlook of teaching and learning material industry. First, accreditation system will be introduced. Second, teaching and learning material industry will develop continually. Third, eco-friendly and sustainable system will be built. Fourth, multimedia industry will be extended. Fifth, managing system to enhance usage rate will be settled.
