중등 교사 양성을 위한 기하 영역의 교육과정 개발 (Development of Curricula on Geometry Related Courses for Training of Mathematics Teacher of Secondary Schools)

  • In this paper, we propose programs of geometry related courses for the department of mathematics education of teacher training universities. We suggest 4 courses, ‘Geometry I’, ‘Geometry II’, ‘Differential Geometry’, ‘Topology’ as geometry related courses in Shin et. al.(2003). Among those 4 courses, we state desirable direction of curricula on 3 courses, ‘Geometry I’, ‘Geometry II’, ‘Differential Geometry’ in this paper.

  • The purpose of this study is to formulate the direction lot improvement of the curriculum on environmental education teacher training. The results of this study are summarized as follows: First, the nature of the courses related to subject matter education should be changed from the course of teaching profession into the course of special study, Second, the combination of the courses related to environmental education and environmental science is needed, Third, the curriculum should sufficiently include the contents of the 7th curriculum, Fourth, the curriculum should contain the courses of environmental science which can help the pre-service teachers to understand the fundamentals and concepts of ecology, This curriculum should also include the courses which can improve the pre-service teacher's ability to teach for the development of student's affirmative environmental value and attitude, Fifth, the curriculum should include the courses which are useful for the pre-service teachers to learn teaching method such as case study and simulation for the education of environmental knowledge and of cognitive domain about environmental issues. Sixth, the curriculum should reflect the contents of the regulation for teacher certificate which was renewed in Jan. of 2000.

산파법의 이해와 적용을 위한 교사 전문성 신장 연수 (The Professional Development Training of Teachers for the Understanding and Applying of Socratic Method)

  • 본 연구에서는 2013년 중등학교 1급 정교사 자격 연수에 참가한 수학 교사 68명을 대상으로 산파법의 이해와 적용을 위한 교사 전문성 신장 연수 과정을 실행하였다. 총 3차시로 구성된 연수 강의에서 산파법의 개요와 특징, 산파법 수업 실행 사례 분석, 산파법 실행 실습, 산파법 대본 사례 검토, 선행 연구에서 드러난 산파법의 교육적 적용 방안을 다루었다. 연수 실행 전 후로 실시된 설문 조사의 기록 과정을 통해, 교사들이 자신의 지식에 대한 반성적 검토의 기회를 갖고 산파법 구사를 위해 더 공부해야 할 부분이나 극복해야 할 과제에 대해 생각해 볼 수 있도록 안내하였다. 연구 과정에서 수집된 조사기록지의 기록물 자료를 바탕으로 산파법의 교육적 적용과 관련된 현직 교사들의 지식 및 인식의 변화를 분석하고, 분석 결과에서 함의된 교사 교육에의 시사점을 도출하였다.

Analysis of the Program for Training Pre-service Earth Science Teachers: Focusing on College Curriculum

  • This study identified and examined earth science education department programs in Korea. Major courses provided by 11 universities and their course requirements were analyzed, and the main research results are as follows. First, many basic courses, other major requisite, and elective courses are provided in geology, astronomy, and atmospheric science. oceanography, geophysics, earth environmental science, and natural disaster and energy resources had fewer major requisite courses provided in addition to basic courses, and few elective courses were offered. Second, many courses in science education focused on earth science, while others focused on general science and there were few courses that covered education theory regarding the specific subject. Third, science course application requirements emphasized the understanding of science in general or of earth science specifically. From the above results, additional studies are proposed to reflect on the current state and supplement these programs.

2015 개정 교육과정의 '통합과학' 도입에 따른 중등 과학과 현직교사 역량 제고 방안 (Ways to Improve In-Service Science Teachers' Expertise with the Introduction of 'Integrated Science' in the 2015 Revised Curriculum)

  • 최근 개정된 2015 개정 교육과정의 주요 신설과목인 '통합과학'이 학교 현장에서 정착되기 위해서는 현직교사에 대한 재교육이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 개정 교육과정의 '통합과학' 교과목 신설에 대비하여 중등 과학교사의 자격종별로 현직교사 재교육 내용을 구상하고, 과학과 현직교사 역량 제고 방안을 마련하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 문헌 연구와 과학교육 전문가 22명을 대상으로 한 델파이 조사를 통해 2015 개정 통합과학 교육과정의 특징을 성격과 목표, 내용 체계 및 내용 구성 등의 측면에서 분석하고 이를 가르치기 위해 필요한 교사 역량이 무엇인지를 탐색하였다. 이렇게 분석된 내용을 바탕으로 현재 학교 현장의 중등학교 과학교사 자격증 유형별 특징과 통합과학 지도를 위해 추가되어야 할 교사 역량을 탐색하여, 교사 자격증 유형별로 2015 개정 통합과학의 이해 직무 연수(A형), 통합과학 직무연수(B형), 통합과학 부전공 자격연수(C형) 등 3가지 유형의 연수프로그램을 개발하였다. 각각의 연수 프로그램 유형별로 교사 자격증별 대상자, 운영시간, 연수프로그램의 구체적인 구성 방법 등을 제시하였다. 또한, 이 연구에서는 전문가 의견에 기초하여 현직 교사뿐만 아니라 통합과학 교사 양성과정 개선안과 통합과학 교사자격 취득을 위한 기본이수과목 개선안을 제안하고 그 타당성을 평가하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 통합과학 지도를 위한 현직교사 재교육 연수 프로그램 구성상의 유의점 및 통합과학 교사 양성과정 개선 방안을 제언하였다.

보육시설 안전교육.안전사고 실태와 담임교사들의 안전교육 범위와 방법 인식에 대한 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Safety Education and Safety Accident Status in Child-Care Facilities and Homeroom Teacher's Recognition about the Safety Education Range and Methods)

  • In most child-care facilities, homeroom teachers take the responsibilities for safety education, which has been conducted in class hours on a regular basis. It was found that most homeroom teachers are lacking in teacher training opportunities, and the younger they are, the less training experience they get. Teachers with fewer teaching careers had a greater interest in safety education and training courses. In addition, homeroom teachers have been utilizing monthly toddler magazines as a method to acquire knowledges for safety education and prevention of safety accidents. The safety accidents which have most frequently occurred in care-care facilities turned out to be stumble and tear, and infants aged 3 years or younger were found to be easily exposed to the safety accidents mainly due to the frolic between peers during the free-choice activity time. The homeroom teachers recognized only traffic safety education among the range of safety training courses, which varied depending on teaching career such as traffic safety education and indoor/outdoor safety environment training, etc. In addition, it turned out that the safety training methods were limited to the utilization of discussion techniques, role-playing, description and demonstration.

대학(교)의 보육관련 교과목 개설 현황 (An Analysis of Pre-service Curriculum for Child Care Teachers at Universities and Colleges in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the current status of pre-service curriculums for child care teachers at universities and colleges in Korea. To accomplish this, a survey was implemented to gather the lists of courses from each department training pre-service child care teachers. A total of 225 departments at universities and colleges across Korea participated in the survey. The results showed that the 37 different courses offered for child-care teacher licensure were different by school type (university or college) and major. Departments in colleges with specific majors such as early childhood education and social welfare offer courses that are also required for other certificates, including kindergarten teachers or social workers, so pre-service child care teachers may not have the opportunity to take courses specifically designed for their specific teaching needs or interests. Accordingly, there may be a restricted number of courses from which to choose during pre-service training periods. Based on the findings from this study, several political implications for improving child-care teacher professionalism were suggested.
