공연예술 콘텐츠로서 무용에 나타나는 설화의 수용양상과 의미 (Acceptance Patterns and Meaning of Tales Appearing on Dance as a Performing Arts Contents for the Journal of Korean Contents)

  • 본 연구는 문화산업의 영역 중에서 급속 성장으로 주목을 받고 있는 공연예술로서의 무용에서 설화가 어떻게 수용되어 새로운 작품으로 형상화되고 있는지 그 양상을 밝히는데 목적이 있다. 이에 우리나라 고대 설화인 바리데기, 춘향설화, 연오랑세오녀를 중심으로 최근에 스토리텔링을 기반으로 창작되었던 주요 공연 사례를 분석하였다. 설화 속 이야기를 무용에 수용했을 때 유구한 구전에 의한 창작의 생명력과 각 설화에 담긴 풍부한 내용, 해석의 다양성은 기존의 시각을 바탕으로 새로운 해석의 가능성을 보여준다. 그 수용 방식은 크게 주제의 서사기법의 다양화, 도덕적 가치문제의 제재화, 전통과 민족의식의 수용으로 나타났다. 우주와 인간에 대한 근원적 관심을 만족시키고 가장 세계적이면서도 한국적인 무용콘텐츠를 창조하기 위해 설화가 지니는 이미지들은 시간을 초월하여 새로운 차원으로 재해석되고 있다.

부링(Bullying)동화를 활용한 인권교육 활동이 유아의 인권관련태도 및 자아존중감에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Human Rights Education Activities using Bullying Fairy Tales on Young Children's Human Rights-Related Attitudes and Self-Esteem)

  • The present study examined effects of human rights education activities using bullying fairy tales on young children's human rights attitudes and self-esteem. The subjects of the study were a total of 40 five years old. children. Twenty of children were assigned to an experimental group and the other 20 children were assigned to a control group. The experimental group participated in human rights education activities using bullying fairy tales 21 times, 3 times a week for 7 weeks and the control group participated in Nurui curriculum activities during the same periods.. The study results indicated that the experimental group showed more improvement in their human rights attitudes and self-esteem than the control group. Therefore human rights education activities using the bullying fairy tales used in this study might be an effective educational mothod to enhence young children's human rights attitudes and self-esteem.

전래동화 활용 공평성 향상 프로그램이 유아의 공평성 추론에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Traditional Fairy Tales - Based Program on the Improvement of Preschoolers Distributive Justice Reasoning)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the traditional fairy tales based program on the improvement of preschoolers level of distributive justice reasoning. The program was developed on the six Korean fairy tales which deal with the sharing problem among the friends and the families. The subjects were seventy-six, 4- and 5-year-old children selected from two kindergartens in Seoul and Ichon. Solomon 4-group experimental design was used. Each children were assigned for 2 experimental groups and for 2 control groups. Before the intervention, the subjects in experimental group 1 and control group 1 were interviewed individually with story dilemmas for their distributive justice reasoning. For eight-week period, the program based on six Korean traditional fairy tales were used as an intervention. After the intervention, all the subjects were interviewed individually with another story dilemmas. The data were analyzed in SPSS Win 10.0 program, by frequency, percentile, mean, standard deviation, paired t-test and independent t-test. As a result, the children in experimental groups had higher level of distributive justice reasoning than those in control groups. That is, program based on the traditional fairy tales gave positive effect on preschoolers distributive justice reasoning.

『셰익스피어 이야기』에 나타난 찰스 램과 메리 램의 이중적 각색 태도 (Charles and Mary Lamb's Ambivalent Adaptation Attitudes in Their Tales from Shakespeare)

  • Tales from Shakespeare, written by Charles and Mary Lamb in 1807, is an adaptation of Shakespeare's plays which was intended for children. Shakespeare's poetic language is transmitted into prose, which enables children to easily read his works. Charles and Mary Lamb collaborated in adapting Shakespeare's plays, but they undertook separate duties which revealed different attitudes in their approach to the adaptation. This dissertation examines Mary Lamb's adaption of Shakespeare's problem play All's Well That Ends Well and Charles Lamb's adaption of Shakespeare' tragedy King Lear, with an adapted pattern focusing on the plot and character. Charles Lamb stressed the "imagination of a fairy tale," which was against the trend in children's literature of the time, while Mary Lamb stressed "the moral and didactic element." Mary Lamb was concerned with the education of female children in the early nineteenth-century. As a result, the Tales presents "a double movement" or perspective, which stresses didactic elements, as well as imagination. These ambivalent attitudes caused critical debates in the nineteenth-century. However, the Lambs defended criticism against "the double movement," suspecting themselves to be "no bigger than a child," from the viewpoint of "the imagination," and reading the Tales to be effective at "making a child a virtuous man," from the viewpoint of "an education."

불교와 대순사상에 나타난 진묵설화의 차이점 (A Study on the Differences between Jinmuk Tales in Buddhism and Daesoon Thought)

  • 이 글에서는 한국불교의 진묵설화와 대순사상의 진묵설화를 비교하고자 한다. 자세히 말하자면, 『진묵조사유적고』와 『전경』의 진묵설화를 비교하고 그 차이점에 대해 검토하고자 한다. 2장에서는 『진묵조사유적고』에 나타난 진묵의 사상을 다음의 4가지로 나누어서 접근한다. 첫째, 진묵은 석가모니의 화신불이라는 것이다. 『진묵조사유적고』의 서문에서 초의(艸衣)는 진묵이 석가모니의 화신이라고 밝히고 있다. 둘째 무애행의 정신이고, 셋째 선교일치의 정신이며, 넷째 유불일치의 정신이다. 3장에서는 대순사상에 나타난 진묵설화에 관한 관점을 살펴보고, 『진묵조사유적고』의 진묵설화와 비교한다. 우선 『전경』에서 진묵의 설화는 천지공사와 해원상생의 관점에서 활용된다. 이것이 불교의 진묵설화와 가장 다른 점이다. 그 다음 진묵설화 가운데 『진묵조사유적고』와 『전경』에 공통된 주제를 말하는 것이 있는데, 그 설화들을 비교해보면 역시 차이점이 존재한다. 그러면 이러한 차이점이 생기는 이유는 무엇일까? 여기서는 엘리아데의 신화이론에 근거해서 설명하고자 한다. 엘리아데는 신화는 그것을 전달하는 사람의 희망사항이 투영된 것이라고 한다. 이 이론에 근거해서 『진묵조사유적고』와 『전경』에 나타난 진묵설화의 차이점을 설명하면, 불교계의 『진묵조사유적고』에는 불교의 가치관이 투영된 진묵설화가 전승되었고, 대순사상의 『전경』에는 대순사상의 가치관이 반영된 진묵설화가 전승되었다고 말할 수 있다. 이처럼 한국불교와 대순사상은 서로의 가치관이 다르기 때문에 같은 주제의 진묵설화라고 해도 전승된 내용에 차이점이 생겼다.

  • There are various treatment methods in traditional tales concerning Heo jun. Among these tales We will introduce cases connected with Gwakhyangjeonggisan. In this treatise We will not lay great emphasis on significance in oriental medicine but on significance of traditional tale. This study will provide some research material on traditional medicine.

유아과학 교수자료 수집을 위한 한국 전래 그림동화의 내용분석 (Content Analysis of Illustrated Korean Fairy tales As Kindergarten Science Teaching Material)

  • This study investigated illustrated Koran fairy tales as material for teaching kindergarten science. The 64 books selected for this study were analyzed by the standards set forth in the Exploring Life segment of the 5th Revision of Kindergarten Teaching Procedures (1993). The story-structure strategy was based on the structural pattern suggested by Moen(1991). Results showed that the structural elements of the illustrated fairy tales could be classified into 7 categories and 8 types of content patterns. After validating the adaptability of the fairy tales for use in teaching Kindergarten science, the books were cataloged by type and category.

전래동화를 활용한 교육적 개입이 유아의 창의성과 친사회적 행동에 미치는 효과 (Educational Intervention Utilizing Fairy Tales : Effects of on Creativity and Pro-social Behaviors in Early Childhood)

  • This study investigated the effect of educational intervention utilizing fairy tales on young children's creativity and pro-social behaviors. Participants were 40 five-year-old young children. Fairy tale books were read to the experimental group and were adapted for various educational intervention activities but the control group participated only in standard child care center themes without educational interventions. Results showed significant differences between experimental and control groups in creativity and pro-social behavior. Findings confirmed that educational intervention utilizing fairy tales is an effective means for enhancing creativity and pro-social behavior in young children.

중학교 3학년 수학교육에서 수학사의 활용

  • Mathematics becomes more indispensible course today, while it seems approaching to the middle school students as a boring and hard one. So, we need to take more motivational teaching devices as well as mere emphases on its importance in order to keep the students up to tile curriculum and improve the education efficiency. Then, history of mathematics call lie one major source of the motivation, since, by telling the tales on the specific unit subject, teachers can awake the students'interest naturally. Today, most of the mathematics textbooks for the middle school students have some historical tales about each unit subject in their respective unit introduction. However, many tales don't seem quite helpful or motivating to understand unit subjects, for they are either abstract or fragmental. In that sense, this paper has three sample guidelines for teaching, which ate meant to introduce historical tales to motivate the students before teachers may get into tile main unit subject. Those suggested in this paper may work as the motivational teaching devices which would make the students mote interested, more positive, and consequently more successful in mathematics.

한국전래동화를 통한 활동중심 독서지도가 아동의 읽기 태도 및 읽기 이해에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Activities-Centered Reading based on Korean Fairy Tales on Children's Reading Attitude and Comprehension)

  • This research analyzed the effect of activity-centered reading band on Korean fairy tales on children's reading attitude and comprehension. The reading altitude of the experimental-group children exhibited more meaningful change in such subordinate areas as academic reading attitude. The academic reading attitude of the male experimental-group had higher improvement than that of the female experimental-group. In addition, the reading comprehension scores of the experimental-group children were higher than those of the control-group children. The reading program effects on reading comprehension were more meaningful in girls in the experimental group than boys in the group. Therefore, the results of this study have demonstrated the necessity of the development and application of a Korean fairy tales program for reading and an activity-centered reading program.
