The purpose of this study is to offer basic data of education to improve farm lives though investigating rural homemakers' life style. The results of this study are as follows : 1. The life structure of rural homemakers was classified into two structures as a material resources and human resources. The life style of rural homemakers was classified into systematical life style, traditional value style, social active style, and progressive active style. 2. The life styles of rural homemakers according to social population variance were as follows. The lower of age, homemakers whose family incomes more 30 million won or below 10 million won, who has religions, who employed in livestock were showed at very systematical life style. The homemakers who live in mountain village, higher the much age becomes, and the education level become lower, have showed traditional value style. Rural homemakers the lower of age, the higher incomes, composed of single parent ＋ children who remain single were appeared social active style. Rural homemakers the lower of age, the more shortened farm life periods, who employed in livestock were appeared progressive active style. 3. Systematical life style was more affected by material resources structure, traditional value style was affected by material resources. And social active style was more affected by human resources, progressive active style was affected by human resources.

The KOESWall system that minimizes the horizontal deformation of reinforced wall effectively was developed bt E&S Eng. Co., Ltd. in 1999. Due to its systematical feature i.e. isolated construction method. KOESWall system is able to use as temporary structures more economically without the facing block. In this report, it is shown that the case history of KOESWall as a temporary soil retaining structure and the field measuremnets.

Generally mathematics is regarded as a subtle subject to grasp their true meaning. And teacher's personal conceptions of mathematics influence greatly on the teaching and learning of mathematics. More over often teachers confess their difficulties in explaining the true nature of mathematics. In this paper, applying the theory of epistemology, we tried to search factors that must be counted important when trying to understand the true nature of mathematics. As results, we identified five characteristics of mathematical knowledge such as logical reasoning, abstractive concept, mathematical representation, systematical structure, and axiomatic validation. Next, we tried to investigate math education major students' conception of mathematics using these items. To proceed this research we asked 51 students from three Universities to answer their opinion on 'What do you think is mathematics?'. Analysing their answers in the light of the above five items, we got the following facts. 1. Only 38% of the students regarded mathematics as one of the five items, which can be considered to reveal students' low concern about the basic nature of mathematics. 2. The status of students' responses to the question were greatly different among the three Universities. This shows that mathematics professors need to lead students to have concern about the true nature of mathematics.

In the ordinary reinforced earth wall, which was constructed by incremental construction method, the horizontal deformation of the facing due to the compaction induced horizontal earth pressure was unavoidable. Thus the KOESWall system which are adopted the isolated construction method was developed by I&S Eng. Co., Ltd. in 1999. Due to its systematical feature, KOESWall system is able to minimizes the horizontal deformation of reinforced wall effectively and it can be used as temporary structures more economically without the lacing block. In this report, it is shown that the concept and case histories of KOESWall system as a retaining structures.

The Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is a primary tool which provides a framework that defines clear scope of all deliverables throughout the project life cycle. Once the WBS is established in projects, it should allow project team members to measure and manage work performances by the WBS; further, it should provide a reference point when any work scope needs to be redefined. Based on the project information in the Progress and Performance Measurement System (PPMS) of UAE's Barakha Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) projects, an attempt was made to develop a new WBS which provides hierarchical and systematical decomposition of the total work scope of NPP construction projects while avoiding from the preexistence concept in Korean NPP projects that the WBS is a combination of Physical Breakdown Structure (PBS) and Functional Breakdown Structure (FBS). The unique features of the new WBS are as follows: (1) defined the definition of each level of the WBS, (2) subdivided the WBS into 5 hierarchical levels, and (3) adopted globally used general coding structure. The new WBS provides a basic hierarchical structure for the project scope and can be used as a basic tool for schedule control, performance measurement, project status monitoring, and communication among project participants. In addition, by putting the Work Package (WP) under the WBS, the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) per WP can be utilized for the project.

It is complicate problem to optimize removing natural organic matter (NOM) by activated carbon in drinking water treatment because the activated carbon has heterogeneous surface area and pore structure. Seven different coals based activated carbons which have different pore structures were used in the study. Sand filtered effluents which normally used as GAC adsorber influent were used. The molecular weight distribution showed that most of the NOM was bigger than 10,000Da. In this study, systematical approaches such as characteristics of surface area and pore volume were evaluated on NOM adsorption. Especially, the adsorption capacities for NOM were evaluated by effect of micro-pores and meso-pores in surface area and pore structure. The results show that the higher ratio of meso-pore compare to the micro-pore has not only the better adsorption capacities for NOM but also the higher strongly-adsorbable fraction. Therefore, the overall adsorption capacity is increased with higher meso-pore ratio with existing of reasonable micro-pore surface area and volume.

The power telecommunication network is a important base construction of power company. The requirements of power plant operation, office automation, subscriber services make it to go on evolution for new structure and advanced services. For these reasons its evolution strategy establishment is needed for systematical improvement. In this paper, we established the structure of power integrated information network which will be able to adapt international standard trends, to support original power prodection, to have competitive power in the telecommunication service market, and suggest evolution strategy schemes for stepwise development.

In the current information environment, the concept of a website has been transformed from the repository of information to means of accessing information which can communicate and interact with users. To function well as an accessing tool to information, the information embedded in a website should be organized in a way that users can easily understand the whole informational structure. This aspect of a website might be more important to a university's website. However, the informational structures which current university's websites adopt do not reflect their users' information needs. They construct their structure uniformly, and it causes the decrease of the websites' usability. To solve these problems, this study proposes a new and systematical way of constructing a university's website which can reflect users' information needs and ensure the usability of the websites.

Regional agricultural research has been activated since the mid of 1980s by the government`s integrated rural development policy based on regional unit(kun). It is called upon to meet the challenges which the agriculture confronts in the general evolution of the society. However, regretfully it seems this new approach has not succeeded in developing its own theoretical tools for the diagnostic analysis of regional agriculture. So, this study would introduce the french agrarian system theory which has been developed by the interdisciplinary research groups of the France`s National Agricultural Research Institute, which is now filtering outside the country to various parts of the world. It attempts also to apply the above theory to analyse one of agricultural regions located in the province Cheollabukdo, so as to see its theoretical pertinency and efficiency in the regional agricultural development planning which constitute the main part of the regional planning.
