This paper presents a system architecture and database of construction quality management system which encourages real time information tracking and monitoring. It improves the real time quality record tracking by using QR code technology in the project delivery. The advantages and issues relative to QR code and the database structures of the tracking system are presented. Conventional project scheduling system, operation modeling and analysis system, and quality management system are hybridized using QR code technology. The system improves project quality management by tracking the atomic tasks which consists of a construction process at the lowest level of construction hierarchy. It analyzes the quality records to determine the causes of abnormality and/or nonconformity. Using QR code technology, the construction quality management system may be more effective than the conventional one. It was confirmed that the quality management processes in construction project delivery can be more visible and controllable by integrating QR code technology, project scheduling system, and quality management system.

In a dynamic business environment, the enterprise mobility solution for a mobile office (EMS) has been adopted to increase the competitive edge of organizations. By using an EMS, performance is expected to be enhanced. However, the related literature has paid little interest to the impact of system quality in an EMS on the information quality produced by the system. On the basis of socio-technical theory, we posited that the system quality in an EMS influences information quality. In addition, we investigated the relationships between the above two qualities, use and job performance by considering task mobility and task inter-dependence as control variables. Survey respondents were from many industries using EMSs. The result of structural equation modeling shows that system quality positively affects information quality, and other relationships in the model are proven statistically significant. We also found that system quality has stronger impacts on use and job performance than information quality does in EMS. However, system quality does not affect use in case both task mobility and task inter-dependence exist. The theoretical and practical implications of the result are discussed in the paper.

Ever since the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) established the ISO 9000 Family standard in 1987, many countries have selected this as their national standard and have provided support for its implementation and conducted assessment activities on the results of its implementation. Likewise, certification assessment was first begun in Korea in 1994, with the result that over 7,600 certificates have been issued to domestic enterprises during the past 5 years or so. This is significant not only in the remarkable growth rate in terms of quantity but also in the fact that it has made possible the establishment of a quality system that meets international standards among Korean enterprises. In this article, it will briefly introduce the establishment and certification of the ISO quality system for those organizations that are complying with the quality system as a part of the process of strengthening their quality competitiveness. For those organizations that have already established the quality system and implemented it for years, we will show the direction for continuous quality improvement in order for these organizations not only to fulfill the requirements but to maintain the superiority of the quality system and their management quality. In addition, it will show what preparations are necessary for organizations and certification bodies in order to expand a manufacturing process-oriented quality system to one that is geared to the total management quality.

This study examines the factors influencing internet protocol television (IPTV) usage intention. Using Davis's technology acceptance model (TAM) and DeLone and McLean's model of information system success, this study investigates the effects of information system quality (information quality, system quality, and service quality) and media quality on IPTV use in terms of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and usage intention. We examined the proposed model by employing structural equation modeling and survey data from 222 IPTV users. The results indicate that information quality, service quality, and media quality had significant effects on perceived usefulness and that information quality and media quality had significant effects on perceived ease of use. However, system quality had no effect on perceived usefulness or perceived ease of use. In addition, perceived ease of use influenced perceived usefulness, and perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use influenced IPTV usage intention. Further, the stability and reliability of IPTV services encouraged IPTV use, and successful IPTV services showed high media quality.

Continuously monitoring and improving information system (IS) performance is a major concern in organizations. Thanks to invisible characteristics of IS performance, this is still enduring research question. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze factors influencing IS Performance in public sector. Influencing factors of IS performance include IS quality such as System Quality, Information Quality and IS Use. The data for analysis was collected from local official in Korea. We used PLS 3.00 Version for an analysis. Analysis revealed that Information Quality has directly influenced IS Use. But there were not Significant in relations between System Quality and IS Performance, System Quality and IS Use, System Quality and IS Performance, and IS Use and IS Performance.

This study is concerned with Quality Maintenance System in Total Productive Maintenance. The important factor in manufacturing process is to attain the uniformity of quality Also quality assurance system is defined such as manufacturing process and products. In this paper, the design of quality maintenance system is considered to manufacturing process elements. Especially the manufacturing process is oriented to machinery equipments, repair and maintenance system is wide principal factor. And quality in manufacturing field is influenced by equipment maintenance system. So in the article, maintenance system for quality is given in a view of quality assurance. And the analysis of Physical Mechanism is explored in real field example.

Since ISO 9001 quality system was established in 1987, many companies have adopted it for assuring the quality of their processes. Not only manufacturing companies but service industries such as hospitals, armies, educational institutes, banks are now implementing ISO 9001 quality management system. In this study, we proposed the definitions of customers, manufacturing processes, products, and quality characteristics of the ISO 9001:2000(E) quality management system in university. An implementation procedure of ISO 9001:2000(E) quality management system in university was also suggested. Furthermore, we dealt with the case study of 'C' College's ISO 9001:2000(E) quality management system and showed some of its effects.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the effectiveness of Quality Leadership on the Business Performance through Quality System for Manufacturing Companies in the North-east China, and research into the model of Quality Leadership is related with the Business Performance. A new questionnaire of QM based on Conti's Quality System thesis, was developed and tested. A statistical analysis of data was collected from Manufacturing Firms in the North-east China. As a result, Quality Leadership is the important drivers of Total Quality Management, and is related with the Quality System. Then, the Quality System is directly related with process, and process is also related with the Product Quality and the Business Performance. Of course, the Product Quality is directly related with the Business Performance in the end.

This parer proposes application of quality costing system in quality improvement area. Cost of quality in quality improvement area provides a valuable of both providing the need for improvement and giving a starting point for project. WQCMS(Web-based Q-Cost Management System) have ability to collect and analyze quality data generated from various different departments in the inside or outside of the enterprise without any limitations, if end-users are able to access wide area network. It provides the capability to integrate quality information from database and to generate various easy analysis reports to management's needs using built-in analysis tool modules with real-time. Web-based quality cost management system to measure the performance of quality improvement activities in the business firms. This paper proposes standard model for quality cost process in quality improvement area.

본 연구의 목적은 ERP시스템의 품질요인이 시스템 사용만족도와 개인 및 조직성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 실증적으로 조사 및 분석하였다. 기존 선행연구들이 시스템의 품질요인에 초점을 맞추고 연구한 반면, 본 연구는 설문지를 사용하여 ERP시스템을 채택한 기업에 있어서 품질요인과 사용만족도 및 기업성과간의 상호관련성을 조사 연구하였다. 특히 기존의 연구들은 시스템품질과 사용만족도 또는 조직성과간의 관련성 연구가 주류를 이루고 있는데 본 연구에서는 정보시스템품질을 시스템품질, 정보품질, 서비스품질 3가지로 분류하고 사용만족도 및 성과도 개인성과와 조직성과로 구분하여 각각의 관련성을 연구하였다는 데 의의가 있다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, ERP시스템의 품질요인의 시스템품질, 정보품질, 서비스품질이 각각 사용자만족도에 유의한 수준에서 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 시스템 사용만족도가 개인성과와 조직성과에 각각 유의한 수준에서 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한, 수정지수를 이용한 수정모형에서 얻은 추가 가설인 ERP시스템의 서비스품질이 개인성과 및 조직성과에 각각 유의한 수준에서 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다.
