고로 용융물 레벨 변화 추정을 위한 디지털 필터 설계 (The Design of Filter for Hearth Liquid Level Estimation in Blast Furnace)

  • Optimizing the tapping time of a blast furnace is important to a stable operation and life extension. To optimize the tapping time of the blast furnace, the location of Hearth Liquid Level should be recognized. There are several ways to measure the hearth liquid level in the blast furnace, such as Electromotive Force(EMF) measurement, pressure measurement by putting in nitrogen probe and manometry with strain gauge. In this paper, it will be discussed using strain gauge among the three methods. Conventional strain gauge must be revised periodically. Since, internal pressure, temperature of internal refractory material and wind pressure have effect on the strain gauge. However, static pressure value is required to compensate. To solve these problems, this paper suggests finding relationship between Hearth Liquid Level and strain gauge output, adding digital filter in strain gauge. Using the proposed method, it was possible to estimate the hearth liquid level and determine the appropriate tapping time. Usefulness of the proposed method through simulations and experimental results are confirmed.

SystemC 구성요소를 이용한 SystemVerilog 기반 검증환경 (SystemVerilog-based Verification Environment using SystemC Constructs)

  • 시스템의 복잡도가 증가함에 따라 상위수준 추상화에 기반한 시스템수준 설계 및 하드웨어의 기능적 검증을 위한 방법론의 중요성이 부각되고 있으며, Verilog HDL(Hardware Description Language)에 하드웨어 검증기능이 추가된 SystemVerilog를 이용하는 시스템수준의 기능적 검증방법이 각광받고 있다. SystemVerilog는 Verilog HDL의 확장된 형태로 하드웨어 설계언어와 검증언어의 특징을 모두 포함하나, 다중상속을 허용하지 않는다. 본 논문에서는 SystemVerilog 기반의 검증환경과 다중상속을 허용하는 SystemC 의 구성요소를 SystemVerilog DPI(Direct Programming Interface) 및 ModelSim macro를 이용해 결합한 다중상속이 가능한 검증환경을 구성한다. 다중상속이 허용된 검증환경 시스템은 특정부분을 수정 후 재실행으로 DUT(Design Under Test)의 기능 검증을 쉽게 수행할 수 있으며, OOP(Object Oriented programming) 기법을 이용한 코드의 재사용성이 높아 또 다른 DUT의 동작 검증에 재사용할 수 있다.

  • Inventory information system is providing the benefits of smoother demand, lower inventories(work in process, safety stock) and reduced costs. This study focused on improvement of safety level inventory efficiency by inventory information system. The results indicated that inventory information system allowed the company to serve its customers more surely and efficiently.

  • In this paper, a hybrid photovoltaic fuel-cell generation system employing an electrolyzer for hydrogen generation and battery for storage purpose is designed and simulated. The system is applicable for remote areas or isolated DC loads. Control strategy has been considered to achieve permanent power supply to the load via the photovoltaic/battery or the fuel cell based on the power available from the sun. MATLAB and SIMULINK have been used for the simulation work. A sensitivity analysis is conducted for various load level based on availability of solar radiation.

대형 잔향실의 방진 구조 설계 및 검증시험 (Design and Verification of a Large Reverberation Chamber's Isolation System)

  • A vibration isolation system for a large reverberation chamber (1,228 $m^3$ and 1,000 ton) has been installed and verified. The reverberation chamber generates loud noise and induces high level of vibration while performing spacecraft acoustic reliability tests. The isolation system prevents vibration transfer from the chamber to the enclosure buildings. This paper describes design process and commissioning experiments of the system. Design criteria have been derived from rigid body model of the chamber. The stiffness of neoprene pads has been selected by employing finite element analysis of the reverberant chamber and isolation system. A total of 21 neoprene pads have been installed between the chamber and supporting Pedestals. A sand bag of 800kg was dropped on the chamber floor to measure the natural frequency of the isolation system. While 136.9 dB noise is generated in the chamber, absolute transmissibility of the isolation system has been measured. The measured natural frequency of the chamber is 10.2Hz, which is 80% of the predicted value. Overall transmissibility at working frequency range (25∼10.000 Hz) is less than -12.4 dB.

  • 원자력 시설의 공기조화 시스템은 일반시설의 공기조화 시스템에 비하여 더 안정되고 여유있게 설치 및 시공되어야 한다. 그 목적은 최적 작업환경유지, 오염 공기로부터의 작업자 보호, 외부배기로 인한 대기오염 방지 등이다. 낮은 공기오염조차 막는 것이 원자력시설의 안전한 운전을 위해 기본적인 것이다. 설계 시 시스템의 융통성을 갖는 설계가 필요한데 이는 나중에 시스템의 수정보완 등을 고려할 때 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 원자력시설의 공기조화계통 설계에 고려해야 할 내용 및 외국시설에 대하여 검토하였는바, 원자력시설의 공기조화계통 설계에 활용될 수 있겠다.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a logical basis for guarantee the effectiveness of the tax support system, which is one of the main measures to prevent the side effects of commercial gentrification. For this purpose, this study analyzes the combination of tax support to replace the loss of net rental income due to stabilize commercial rents and annual rent increase rate that can be substituted through the tax support system based on economic utility of commercial lessors in Seoung-dong, Seoul. The result of this study shows that the tax support system can be used as an effective means to substitute a considerable portion of the net rental income loss due to stabilize commercial rents of Seongsu-dong. However if the rent price continues to rise every year, the tax support system does not work. In order to guarantee the sustainability of the tax support system, annual rent increase rate should be kept below a certain level.

최적화된 계층구조를 갖는 서브밴드 필터뱅크의 설계 (The Design of Optimum Hierarchical Subband Filter Bank)

  • 계층적 구조를 갖는 서브밴드 코덱은 그 구조의 간단성과 모듈적인 특성으로 인하여 데이타 압축/복원 시스템에 많이 쓰여왔다. 최근까지 연구되어 오고 있는 대부분의 계층적 서브밴드 코덱은 주로 양자화 영향을 고려하지 않은 상태에서 출력단에서 입력 신호를 복원하기 위한 완전복원(perfet Reconstruction)시스템에 제한되어 왔다. 그러나 실제적인 서브밴드 코덱 시스템에서는 분석 필터 뱅크를 통한 입력 신호가 양자화기를 거쳐 합성필터 뱅크에 전송되므로, 양자화 오차가 발생하게 되어 완전복 원은 불가능하게 된다. 따라서, 이러한 양자화 오차를 최소화하여 출력단에서 가능한 한 원 입력신호에 가깝게 재생할 수 있는 최적의 코덱 시스템을 필요로 하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 그 동안 수학적 이론과 코덱구조의 복합성 때문에 고려되지 않았던 양자화기에 위한 양자화 오차를 수학적으로 분석하여 최적화된 계층적 구조를 갖는 서브밴드 코덱의 설계를 제안한다. 본 논문에서의 최적화의기준은 코덱에서 양자화 기에 의해 발생하는 평균 제곱 오차를 최소화하는 계층적 분석/합성 필터 뱅크와 양자화기의 설계에 있다. 구체적인 최적화 설계 예제는 레벨-1. 레벨-2 계층적 구조를 갖는 코덱에 실제 적용되었으며, 설계된 코덱은 컴퓨터 모의 실험을 통하여 검증하였다.

사이버교육 효과의 영향요인에 관한 실증적 연구: 공공조직을 중심으로 (An Empirical Study on Critical Success Factors in Implementing the Web-Based Distance Learning System : In Case of Public Organization.)

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate critical success factors for effective implementation of web-based distance learning system. First of all, four critical success factors are theoretically derived from reviewing previous research. They are: (1) learner-related factor including the variables such as teaming ability, learning attitude, and attending motivation, (2) environmental factor including the variables of physical and mental support for learners, (3) instructional design factor represented by one variable, the degree of appropriateness of learning contents, and (4) the factor concerning the level of self-directed learning readiness embracing the variables such as curiosity for learning, openness towards challenge of learning and affection for learning. Subsequently, the relationships between these four critical success factors and the degree of learning satisfaction are empirically investigated. The data for empirical analysis of the research are collected from 1,020 respondents who have already passed the web-based distance learning courses which have been implemented in Information and Communication Officials Training Institute. Out of 1,020 responded questionnaires, 875 data were available for statistical analyses. The main results of this study are as follows. Firstly, the most important factor for successful implementation of the web-based distance learning system is shown to be the instructional design factor, and in the next place, the self-directed learning readiness factor, the environmental factor and the learner-related one in sequence. Secondly, additional analysis of the variables included in the instructional design factor shows that availability of practical information and knowledge is the most influencing variable, and next, interesting composition of contents, reasonable learning amount, optimal level of instruction, and understandable explanation are significantly important in the descending order. Lastly, among learning motivators, strong intention of acquiring business knowledges and skills is found to be the most important satisfier in the web-based distance learning. The theoretical contribution of this study is to derive a comprehensive model of critical success factors for implementing the web-based distance learning system. And, the practical implication of this study is to propose efficient and effective guidelines for developing and operating the web-based distance learning system in the various kinds of organizations.

  • In existing technology planning, there is lack of considerations such as technology fusion, users' requirements of future, gap analysis between technology development and production, and industrialization process of development technology, that is, technology diffusion and technology transfer strategy. The most noticeable thing is that there is an obvious transition from supplier-centered to consumer-centered in the development of service or product because users' needs are getting a diverse and high level with the paradigm change of industry and society in the 21st century. So it is very important to design effectively a technology planning system under integration of R&D-production-sales system for satisfaction of customers' various choices. In this paper, we present considerations being required strategically in technology planning through analysis of mutual relationship and interface between technology planning, R&D and production system.
