This paper presents the PCB heat dissipation characteristics of high density DC-DC converter for electric vehicles. This paper also analyzes the heat dissipation structure of the high density DC-DC converter and optimizes the PCB heat dissipation design of the high density power system through thermal analysis simulation. Based on heat transfer theory, the thermal path of general electronic devices is analyzed and the thermal resistance equivalent circuit is modeled in this paper. Additionally, the thermal resistance equivalent circuit of the 500W synchronous buck converter, which is addressed in this paper, is modeled to present a structural heat dissipation path for better thermal performance. The validity of the proposed scheme is verified through the thermal analysis simulation results and experiments applying multi-surface heat dissipation structure to a 500[W](12[V], 41.67[A]) synchronous buck converter prototype with an input voltage 72[V].

A wind generator system model includes wind model, rotor dynamics, synchronous generator, power converter, distribution line and infinite bus. This paper investigates the low-Voltage Ride-Through capability of PMSG wind turbine in a variable speed. The drive train of a wind turbine on 2-mass modeling can observe the shaft torsional vibration when the low-voltage occur. To reduce the torsional vibration when the low-voltage occur, this paper designs suppression control algorithm of the torsional vibration and implements simulation. The simulation based on MATLAB/SIMULINK has validated at the transient state of the PMSG and an experiment using 3kW simulator has validated the LVRT control.

In this paper, we present an analytical method that provides fast and efficient evaluation of the conversion efficiency for switching power supplies. In the proposed method, the conduction losses are evaluated by calculating the effective values of the ideal current waveform first and incorporating them into an exact equivalent circuit model of the switching power supply that includes all the parasitic resistances of the circuit components. While the winding losses and core losses are accurately accounted for the magnetic components, the skin and proximity effects are assumed to be negligible in order to simplify the analysis. The validity and accuracy of the proposed method are verified with experiments on a prototype active-clamped forward converter with synchronous rectification. An excellent correlation between the experiments and theories are obtained for the input voltages of 36-75 V with 4-6 MOSFETs employed for the synchronous rectification.
In this paper, a voltage type dual PWM converter which achives the bidirectional power flow between a AC supply and a DC bus voltage is described. In PWM modulator, there exist a time difference between the sampling time and carrier wave, it achieves stable modulation even the disturbance in the synchronous AC source voltage. And this paper proposes the compensation method and the control method related a disturbance of synchronous signal using the low pass filter and phase shifter for the stable modulation. As a result the voltage type dual PWM converter makes the imput current wave as sinusoid, and performs the high power factor driving.
This paper presents a high efficient two-stage interleaved synchronous buck CMOS DC-DC converter. The proposed circuit has a fixed duty cycle as 0.5 by an added buck converter. And it causes the best ripple cancelation of the output current ripple. The proposed circuit was simulated by HSPICE with a standard CMOS $0.35{\mu}m$ process parameter.
Recently, new trend in telecommunication device is to apply low voltage, about 3.3V-1.5V. However, it is undesirable in view of high efficiency and power desity which is the most important requirement in the distributed power system. Rectification loss in the output stage, in on-board converter for distributed power system are constrained to obtain high efficience at low output voltage power suppies. This paper explains the basic operational principles of three kinds of ZVS DC/DC converters with self-driven synchronous rectifier. The three topologies are analyzed by simulation and exprimentation, and the characteristics comparisons of high efficience converter are carried out in view of the minimized rectification losses in the out stage.

The application areas of traditional push-pull converters are limited because the voltage stress of switches is high (twice of the input voltage). But the push - pull converter topology is suitable for unregulated low-voltage to high-voltage power conversion such as the fuel cell. This paper presents a novel power converter structure that is very suitable for the DC/DC converter in fuel cell systems. Based on this structure, a ZVS- ZCS push-pull converter is proposed. The switches of the proposed push-pull converter can operate under ZVS or ZCS condition with the help of a new passive clamping circuit. The passive clamping techniques solves the voltage overshoot problem. Because the buck converter circuit operates at twice the synchronous switching frequency of the push-pull converter, the peak current in the current-fed inductor and transformer is reduced. The operation principle of the proposed converter is analyzed and verified by simulations and experimental results. A 1 kW DC/DC converter was implemented with DSP TMS320F2812, from which experimental results have shown that efficiency improvement and surge suppression can be achieved effectively.
This paper presents a synchronous rectifier in a LLC half bridge topology. The proposed synchronous rectifier is used to a current driven synchronous rectifier(SR). If FET is driven without dead times. Voltage driven synchronous rectifier may introduce voltage and current surge during the zero dead times. To solve this problem, we propose to use modified current driven synchronous rectifier. Finally, the prototype is built and comparison on the current and voltage driven synchronous rectifier(SR).
ZVS Half-Bridge converter is proposed. This converter is operating in fixed switching frequency to regulate output voltage. The ZVS is maintained by Partial resonance during the OFF interval of both switches. Using self-driven synchronous rectifier, this circuit minimizes the Power loss in the rectification circuit. 50[W] ZVS Half-Bridge converter is simulated and built. Two results has been compared.

SFC(Static Frequence Converter)system has come to be used as drive large synchronous machine in many industry applications. Many papers have been presented on the control algorithm of SFC system, not the acceleration and start-up but the rated speed operation with line connection and the braking operation with regeneration which is used in the industry. Among this, this paper presents the regeneration breaking control algorithm for a large synchronous machine using SFC system. The results of experiment show that the proposed algorithm is proper and effective.
