International organization and airport operator have issued a guidance manual with regard to the sustainability specialized in airport by adopting environment friendly rating system and developing a variety of sustainable practices. The structure of framework is essential to the development of practical and effective sustainability guideline of airport. Evaluation criteria and method for airport sustainability properly designed is necessary for the assurance of the level of sustainability. In this study, evaluation criteria and method proper to airport after structuring of framework for airport sustainability will be suggested by reviewing a variety of reference documents issued from foreign and domestic organization.

The interest about sustainable development of airport operation field has been increased as the aviation industry has been gradually developed and the influence to the neighboring area of airport has been increased. International organization and airport operator have issued a guidance manual with regard to the sustainability specialized in airport by adopting environment friendly rating system and developing a variety of sustainable practices. The purpose of this study was to develop guidelines for sustainability of back-to-farm community village in 4 aspects; social environment, maintenance and management, regional environment, and economic environment. These 4 aspects, which count for sustainability, based on the comprehensive comparative analysis about items that field survey and literature suggested. Conclusions of guideline are of the following. The guidelines on social environment are developed by 3 items; resident participation and activity, village leader, decision making in village and person in charge of operation. The guidelines on maintenance and management are developed by 5 items; village operation system, village regulation, transparency of management, village operation expenses, and management type. The guidelines on regional environment are developed by 2 items; support by central and local government, and area projects and connection to regional resources. The guideline on economic environment is not developed due to low demands of based production facilities and income increase facilities.

The purpose of this study is to identify the guideline's contents for dietitians' knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) for the sustainability management at school foodservice. The contents for the guideline were determined by the Delphi technique of two rounds. The Delphi panels of experts were consisted of sixteen school dietitians and fourteen professors of food and nutrition with more than 10 years of experiences by convenience sampling method. Based on the literature, knowledge, attitudes, and practices required for dieticians were classified into menu management, procurement, food production, facility and energy management, waste management, personnel management, and nutrition education. Data were analyzed using SPSS for Windows version 24 and EXCEL to calculate descriptive statistics, content validity ratio, degree of agreement, and degree of convergence. As a result of the second round, the validity scores of 'knows eco-friendly certification standards and labeling systems (4.53 point)' in the knowledge category, and 'tries to purchase local agricultural products (4.87 point)' in the attitude category were the highest. From that round in the practice category, the validity scores of 'plan menus for students' health', 'purchases eco-friendly food', and 'conserves energy in pre-processing and cooking process' were the highest with 4.73 point. Applying the criteria for securing the validity of the contents, the contents of 25 knowledge items, 20 attitude items and 30 practice items were confirmed. The findings of the study can be used to develop the guideline for dietitians required for the sustainability management.

This paper intends to set up a standard sets of indicators based on system-orientor framework, in assuming urban place as a self-organizing system within which several subsystems are interlinked together. Also, The application guideline composed of normative-analytical-practical dimensions, is proposed how to put into practice a standard set of indicators according to the regional characteristics. In practice, Seongnam in Gyeonggi Province in Korea and St. Paul in Minnesota in US are selected for case studies in order to measure and evaluate urban sustainability. Both data availability for measured variables and establishment of minimum level and satisfactory level of sustainability are requested for furthermore researches.

The purpose of this study is to understand the required concept in the architectural competition for public library and its application in design process. The research is based on the 27 design guideline of architectural competition for public library from 2009 to 2013 and, as a case study, the project for the Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Library, the prize winner in 2014. Three required concepts; symbolism, function, and sustainability, are categorized through the analysis on the design guideline of 27 competitions and are identified. Symbolism is expressed by landmark forms based on the local characteristics. The function of public library means to provide services to everyone, regardless of age, race, gender, religion etc., as a local community. Sustainability is related to passive architecture for the maintenance and management of buildings. These three concepts for public library applied on the design process of Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Library and design elements in each process are categorized in three concepts. The results shows not only how closely the locality and a user are related, but also the changes in the appearance of a public library as time passed.

The Long-Term Sustainability (LTS) guidelines have attracted the most attention in the recent formation of international norms of behavior regarding outer space activities. The discussion began at the U.N. COPUOS in 2010. In June 2019, the 21 guidelines were finally adopted. The guidelines include international cooperation to promote and support the observation of the situation of orbiting objects, including space debris, for the purpose of preserving the space environment indefinitely, sharing data and forecasts on space weather, and announcing each country's space policy in accordance with international law. Some guidelines have failed to reach a consensus as the mitigation of space debris is often difficult to separate from space weapons tests. As plans for small satellites and Rendezvous and Proximity Operations have been projected for the future, it is expected that each countries' position on preserving the space environment will become more acute.

In this paper, we have investigated how various companies have tackled the concept of materiality, and reviewed the effect of materiality determination on business strategy and decision making in sustainability reporting. To achieve this, we gather and utilize various guidelines and company's practice cases. Results from the analyses of four case studies provide that most companies conducted a detailed systematic materiality analysis as strategic planning process but held differing approaches. Therefore, successful methodology to determine materiality will need to address common issues and challenges, and set up a new concept in the context of sustainability reporting.

Due to the fashion industry taking responsibility for their garment manufacturing, a significant number of UK universities are focusing on combining sustainability in their curriculum to support future employees' skills and knowledge in sustainable fashion. A proper understanding of educational and instructional theories is needed to develop effective teaching and learning materials and environments. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the Fashion Design module created with consideration of sustainability using ADDIE instructional model. For evaluation, the teaching materials, including the module brief and the PowerPoint slides for each session, were used. Ten students were interviewed and observed along with two tutors, also interviewed to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the module from a variety of viewpoints. With sustainable fashion being embedded into specialized higher education courses, tutors decided to incorporate sustainability into the module as an introduction to this topical subject in order to build a stronger foundation of knowledge and challenge traditional ways of working. Results showed that combining sustainability into the design and technical sessions had a positive influence on students who built upon their existing knowledge. Tutors researched the need for change within the industry in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and aligned the content to inform the students of the current crisis. This study could provide a guideline to create instructional material for sustainable fashion design courses.

Sustainable development has become a growing concern throughout the world. Construction industry also has participated in the efforts to minimize the environmental impacts. In Korea, the government has already established the green construction certification(G-seed) and guidelines for sustainable construction. However, domestic guidelines are focused on the design and construction phase, not on the construction project. In addition, it is difficult to find instructions due to the complex structure based on the work unit. Therefore this study aims to deduct the component structure for sustainable construction guidelines in the planning, design and construction phases by utilizing the Factor Analysis. Following the literature review, a total of 26 criteria were identified. Further, a survey was conducted to capture the perceptions on the importance of the criteria. According to the factor analysis, the criteria can be grouped into 8 factors : Environmental factors management, Management planning, Cost and Design management, Energy management, Material management, Certification and regulation management, General Management and Others.
