Purpose: This study examined the current state of death preparedness and factors related to the death preparedness among community-dwelling older adults in Korea. Methods: A total of 6,879 older adults' data, selected from the Korean National Survey on the Elderly 2014 data, were analyzed. The criteria for selection were responding to the questionnaires directly and normal cognitive function. Stratified sampling logistic regression analysis was conducted on the compiled data. Results: It was seen that 37.3% of older adults were prepared for death; specifically, 28.6% had arranged for resting places, 10.7% had purchased burial clothes, 6.8% had subscribed to mutual aid societies, 0.7% participated in death education, and 0.6% had signed a will. The results of logistic regression indicated that the older adults who were females, older age, religious, highly educated, more satisfied with their economic status, living in rural areas, and participating in more social activities were more likely to prepare for their deaths compared to their counterparts. Conclusion: Education programs that prepare for death need to target marginalized groups in the community, such as male older adults and whose participation in social activities or satisfaction with their economic status are relatively low.

이 연구는 우리나라 공공도서관의 청소년을 대상으로 하는 프로그램 현황을 살펴보고, 공공도서관의 청소년 프로그램 활성화 방안을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 전국 공공도서관 청소년 프로그램 현황을 조사하고, 청소년을 대상으로 독서 실태와 도서관 이용실태, 청소년 프로그램에 대한 청소년들의 요구를 조사하고, 공공도서관 담당사서를 대상으로 설문조사를 하여 청소년 프로그램의 내용과 청소년 도서관 이용실태를 조사하고, 분석하였다. 그 결과를 토대로 청소년 프로그램의 활성화 방안으로 청소년 전용자료실 설치, 청소년 프로그램 개발, 청소년 웹 사이트 구축, 전문인력 확충 등을 제시하였다.

Backgrounds: The objective of school zones was to define protective areas and to keep children vulnerable to traffic accidents from the risk. The current "Rules on the Designation and Management of School Zones" included provisions on the installation of traffic safety facilities and road facilities, but they were not sufficient for children's traffic safety and there were many difficulties in applying standards to the fields. Purposes: With these problems to be solved, the present study surveyed the current state of safety facilities in school footpaths and school zones around elementary schools and suggested plans to improve them. This study studied various factors like the physical environment and the safety facilities in the school zone. Methods: The present researcher visited four elementary schools selected for this study, and surveyed safety facilities in the school zones around the elementary schools using a schedule prepared by the researcher. Results: According to the results of the case study, all of the four schools were designated as school zones, but the designation appeared nominal without sufficient safety facilities that can ensure children's safety. Based on the results of the survey, suggestions were made to improve traffic facilities in school zones and school footpaths as well as safety guidance.

The present study has a dual purpose to investigate the current state of school English library and needs required for its effective use, and to propose a reading program at the school library. The literature on school library was reviewed. A questionnaire survey was done to find out the current situation of English library at the secondary school. The analysis of 26 secondary English teachers' responses reveals that there was the absence of librarians or reading specialists at the school English library. It was also found that the uses of the English library were limited due to the absence of the specialists, no guidelines, and no link between the curriculum and the library use. A case study on a 2-week special reading program at the school English library was conducted and 15 middle school students took part in the project. The participants took pre- and post-tests to identify their reading level using a software and did a variety of reading activities using the books selected according to their level. The comparison of the tests shows that most of the students' reading level improved after the reading program. The analysis of their views on the program and its effects reveals that they gained confidence in reading and their vocabulary understanding was improved. Some suggestions are made for the effective management of the school English library.

This study draws on status quo bias theoretic perspective as a meta-theoretic lens to explain why individuals have resists to adopt smart devices for their tasks. More specifically, we attempted to examine the relationships among user's resist, perceived usefulness and individual productivity in the smart work context. By employing the status quo bias theoretic perspective, we develop and test our research model by using a survey data from 235 individual users. We demonstrate that satisfaction on the current state influence users' resist, and also the users' resist is mediated by perceived usefulness on individual productivity. From the status quo bias view, this study presents an alternative meta-theoretical lens in order to understand individuals' resist in the smartwork context.

본 연구에서는 노동조합 조합원인 장기해고노동자들이 해고와 이후 실업기간을 어떻게 경험하는지 그 변화과정을 현상학적 방법으로 분석하였다. 연구대상자는 평균해고 기간이 8년 4개월인 남성 해고노동자로 5명을 심층 면담하였다. 해고 당시의 심리적 경험, 해고 이후 지속적인 심리적 또는 신체적 변화, 현재 상태, 해고기간 동안의 대처방법 등을 반구조화 질문지에 근거하여 심층 면담을 진행하여 자료를 수집하였다. 이를 분석한 결과 21개의 하위 주제와 이를 포괄하는 5개의 상위주제를 구성하였다. 중요상위주제는 '해고 당시와 이후의 감정과 인식', '해고가 장기화되면서 생기는 증상과 변화', '장기화된 현재의 상태', '사회적 인식에 대한 양상', '해고에 대한 대처' 이었다. 상위주제와 하위범주에 대하여 기술하고 이와 관련된 장기해고노동자의 경험을 구체적으로 기술하였다. 마지막으로 장기해고노동자의 변화 및 경험을 선행연구를 바탕으로 논의하였다.

The purpose of the study is to explore strategies to revitalize the distribution of landscaping plants in Gangwon State (hereinafter referred to as Gangwon-do). To understand the current distribution status and perception of landscape materials in Gangwon-do, a survey was conducted on producers and consumers focusing on cultivation area and method, cultivated species and quantity, purchase species and quantity, and purchase area. Producers often cultivated open land, and in the case of trees and shrubs, most of them cultivated <5 species. On the other hand, consumers preferred field cultivation products when purchasing trees and shrubs. Approximately 6-10 species of trees and shrubs were preferred for a single purchase, confirming an imbalance in the supply and demand of landscaping plants. In addition, both producers and consumers had a positive perception of landscape plant transactions in Gangwon-do; however, the dissatisfaction factors for producers included a small consumer base and difficulties for them in securing standards and quantities. Based on these results, it is necessary to establish a platform that can interconnect producers' landscape plant cultivation information with consumers' requirements to rejuvenate the landscape plant distribution market and enhance competitiveness in Gangwon-do. In addition, this platform is expected to have a positive impact on improving the quality of landscaping plants, setting reasonable prices, and increasing domestic demand in Gangwon-do by providing opportunities for cultivation, promotion, and marketing education through producer support projects.

일반 국도의 선형개량사업 및 도로 확포장 사업의 일환으로 터널의 수가 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 최근들어 집중호우 및 이상기후로 인하여 국지적인 강우가 발생하여 갱구사면의 붕괴도 적지 않게 발생하고 있다. 따라서, 국내의 터널 갱구사면 피해 및 유지관리를 효율적으로 대처할 필요성이 대두되었다. 본 연구는 일반국도변에 기설치 운영되고 있는 터널 갱구사면의 현황 및 상태에 대한 조사를 실시하고 수집된 데이터의 효율적인 관리를 위한 데이터베이스 시스템을 개발, 향후 유지관리를 위한 상태평가 기법을 개발하는 것이다. 연구방법으로는 국도변의 터널 갱구사면의 형태를 분석하기 위하여 현장 조사를 통하여 국내의 터널을 진입형태, 갱문형식, 터널 유형 등 기하학적인 형태에 따른 분석을 실시하였다. 수집된 자료의 효율적인 관리를 위해서 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스를 사용하여 입력, 수정 및 조회가 가능한 데이터베이스 관리 시스템을 개발하였고, 조사된 갱구사면의 위험상태에 대한 등급을 분류하기 위한 상태평가 기준표를 제시하고 이에 따른 등급을 분류하였다. 본 상태평가를 이용하여 국도변의 터널 갱구사면을 분류하여 위험 등급에 따라 향후 지속적으로 유지 관리를 실시할 수 있도록 기초자료로 활용하고자 하는 것이 주 목적이다.

In this research, we examined the courses of the colleges of Korean medicine in Korea to find out how well the education on medical ethics is being conducted so that we could make good use of our findings as basic material to make arrangements to develop ethics education in Korean medicine. In the same research, we conducted a survey to find detailed information on the current state of ethics education and its actual application at 12 colleges of Korean medicine in Korea. As a result, 8 colleges out of 12 included medical ethics in their courses. They were among the subjects in the first year or second year of a preparatory program. Most of them were classified as requirements while some of them were classified as electives in humanities or liberal arts. As ethical issues in the medical community become more diversified and important, it is imperative that health care providers maintain firm ethics. As the need for medical ethics and ethics education is getting larger, ethics education at colleges of oriental medicine is becoming a more important focus. Therefore, it is necessary to expand ethics education at the colleges of Korean medicine in Korea and set a precedent for studying ethics in Korean medicine based on that.

기관 리포지토리는 오픈 액세스 운동을 실현할 수 있는 핵심적인 체제의 하나로 알려져 있다. 한국교육학술 정보원은 학술 정보 공유 공간으로 대학 기관 리포지토리 컨소시엄인 dCollection을 2003년에 구성하여 현재 62개의 국사립 대학들이 회원 대학으로 참가하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 2005년도에 구축된 dCollection 평가 모형을 조사 도구로 활용하여, 40개의 대학 기관 리포지토리의 운영 현황을 파악하고, 이러한 조사 결과를 기초로 하여 dCollection 자료의 등록률 및 이용율 향상에 초점을 맞춰 국내 기관 리포지토리의 발전 방안을 제안하여 효율적인 국가지식정보 유통체제의 인프라 구축을 목적으로 한다.
