The requirement for high performance visualization of engineering analysis of digital products is increasing since the size of the current analysis problems is more and more complex, which needs high-performance codes as well as high performance computing systems. On the other hand, different companies or customers do not have all the facilities or have difficulties in accessing those computing resources. In this paper, we present a multi-view supporting VR/AR system for providing supercomputing-based engineering analysis services. The proposed system is designed to provide different views supporting VR/AR visualization services depending on the requirement of the customers. It provides a sophisticated VR rendering directly dependent on a supercomputing resource as well as a remotely accessible AR visualization. By providing multi-view centric analysis services, the proposed system can be more easily applied to various customers requiring different levels of high performance computing resources. We will show the scalability and vision of the proposed approach by demonstrating illustrative examples with different levels of complexity.

The concrete information technology (IT) has affected ways for supporting agricultural products. However, studies relating IT to agriculture in a broader sense have not been prevalent. The objective of this study is to improve agencies' effectiveness and performance in the use and application of IT through understanding the organizational fit and misfit. This research applied a multi-contingency view to Korean IT supporting agricultural promotion agencies and it evaluated the competitiveness of these agencies with reference to the correspondence of factors (Goal, Strategy, Environment, Knowledge Exchange, Task Design, and Information System) affecting their performance with organizational goals. The results reveal that organizations with good performance show better organizational fit with their organizational goal. This study contributes to the ways of efficient IT management in agricultural organizations in Korea.

본 논문에서는 모바일 ad-hoc 네트워크에 서 QoS 멀티캐스트 라우팅 을 지원하기 위한 구조들을 제안한다. 제안된 구조는 다음처럼 구성되어져 있다. 첫째, 안정된 멀티캐스트 서비스를 지원하기 위한 기반 구조로 이동성 기반 클러스터링을 제시한다. 둘째, 라우팅 경로와 네트워크의 안정성을 지원하고 평가할 수 있는 엔트로피 기반 모델을 제시하고 QoS 라우팅 지원 방안에 대해서 논의한다. 셋째, 앞에서 제시된 구조들을 사용하여 QoS 멀티캐스트 라우팅을 지원하기 위한 방법을 제시한다. 제안된 구조에 대한 성능 평가는 OPNET(Optimized Network Engineering Tool)을 사용한 모델링과 시뮬레이션을 통하여 이루어진다.

Recently, many people are interesting for Start-up and government also try to support their business because it can contribute economic growth. However, in Korea, despite there are many education and supporting programs for them, many Start-ups are failed to retain their business because they actually do not know what they do. Although prior studies for Start-up have pointed that education for them is very important for success, education programs for them only focus on theories rather than practices. Moreover, Start-ups need tools for supporting to business plans or information for their business. Therefore, in this study, we propose IT service functions for Start-up information system supporting Start-up competency. For this purpose, we conduct Delphi and Importance-Performance Analysis with experts on start-up. In experiments, we divided stage of business into three stages; business planning, implementation, growth and diversification. And we draw important tasks from experts in each stage. As a result, we find some tasks to concentrate for Start-up information systems. And we also find tasks which are not important for company founders. Through these results, we expect that the development of functions for supporting those important tasks will help increase the efficiency of Start-up companies and the survival rate of them.

As people are aging, there are changes about biological psychological sociological. For these reasons, it will arise that changing body size, decreasing power of body, shrinking of living, becoming dull the senses, and feeling alienation loneliness sense of distance about society. Many studies have been done to give residential space supporting older adults' living. Recently many ubiquitous technologies are being development and applied to residential space. The purpose of this study was to classified ubiquitous services by housing supporting concept and older people's physical, psychological and social characteristics and to identify needs for ubiquitous services by older adults. The researches developed a survey instrument and collected the data from 260 people in July to August, 2008 who were more than 40 years old. The results of this study found that residents' current needs and suggested ubiquitous services in future residential environment for older adults.

The low price around 1000 USD makes consumer 3D printers as a new additive manufacturing platform for the personal manufacturing where consumers can make and sell their own products. To allow the consumers to design and manufacture their products, not only economic 3D printers but also supporting information systems for their design and manufacturing are essential. This study suggests an extended product data management (PDM) system that can support both the design and manufacturing of personal products with consumer 3D printing services. This extended PDM system helps consumer designers use advanced PDM technologies for their design and connected 3D printing services with Internet of Things (IoT) technology for realization of their products. As a result, the proposed system supports the consumer designers a seamless integrated product development and manufacturing environment supported by PDM and consumer 3D printing services.

The diverse set of phenomena, concepts, and activities existing in academic disciplines could be studied from multiple perspectives. One of the promising approaches to explore phenomena is hermeneutics, especially in the form of hermeneutic phenomenology, which has been formed as a consequence of postmodern movements. Hermeneutic phenomenology has taken root in the original ideas of philosophers like Husserl, Heidegger, and Gadamer, and has become one of the fruitful research methodologies over time. After a brief review of the foundations of hermeneutic and phenomenological methodologies, the role of the hermeneutic phenomenology approach in supporting research and information services is discussed. The present article seeks to describe narratively the use of hermeneutic phenomenology in such issues as information technology, information behavior, knowledge organization, and librarians' roles as related to Information Science.

B-ISDN(Broadband Integrated Services Digital Network)which is defined as a service or system requiring transmission channels capable of supporting rates above 1.5 Mbps has emerged as a new future telecommunication infrastructure. B-ISDN can integrate a wide range of services and the success of B-ISDN is crucially dependent on the development of user-needing application services. The purpose of this study is the conceptual development of B-ISDN application services. We survey on the kinds of B-ISDN service, classify application areas by user groups, and develop B-ISDN application services. Finally we categorize B-ISDN application services by their application areas and necessary services.

인터넷 전화 사용의 급증에 따라, 무선랜으로 접속되는 인터넷 전화도 그 사용이 급속히 늘고 있다. 모든 통신망에서 긴급 서비스의 지원이 중요하듯이, 무선랜 접속 인터넷 전화에서 긴급 서비스 지원도 매우 중요한 이슈이다. 본 논문은 최근 IEEE 802.11에서 추진된 무선랜에서 긴급 서비스 지원 프로토콜 개발 동향을 요약한다. 802.11 워킹 그룹은 긴급 서비스 호 시 네트워크 접속을 다룬 11u 표준과 단말의 위치 정보 결정 및 전달 프로토콜을 다룬 11v 표준을 개발하고 있다. 본 논문은 11u와 11v 표준을 개략한다.

The purpose of this study is to research support systems of the community child care services for optimum work-family balance. For this purpose, the questionnaire to be completed combined four areas: the workplace, school, community and home. Then questions concerning demographic factors and community-related aspects were analysed for this article. After analyzing 197 questionnaires, supplementary questions were asked, by interview to 10 samples. Full-time working wives (eg. working from 9am to 6pm) who have 1 or more children under 10 years old, living in Seoul and Gyeonggi province were collected as samples. The results were as follows: First, child care from family and relatives, and community services was properly used during the week, but dual working parents took complete charge of child care on Saturdays. Second, emergency child care was usually provided by the family, while relatives and community child care services were used less. Third, parents spent 17% of their monthly income on total child care expenditure. Fourth, community child care services were not used often, but the level of satisfaction with them was very high. Finally, they used relatives' services for safety reasons and community services for location, and only based on informed decisions. Therefore, Saturday child care programmes need to be initiated to help physically and mentally tired parents, with more general provision of positive and diverse public support systems.
