This study aims to explore the characteristics of environmental catalysts which have affected the development of music giftedness of the disadvantaged students. For this purpose, this study deals with nineteen disadvantaged gifted in music and examines their self-evaluation test, personal statement, and interview. Based on Gagn$\acute{e}$'s environmental catalysts of differentiated model of giftedness and talent(DMGT), the analysis of the interviews conveys the milieu of the disadvantaged gifted hardly exerts positive influences on their musical activities and studies. While concerning music and supporting their children financially and emotionally, parents unintentionally tend to exert negative influences on their children for their misapprehension of giftedness and incompetent advice. On the whole, the disadvantaged gifted hardly admit their teachers as experts in music. In relation to provisions, most students participate in extra school and local program and none of them participates in music gifted program. They are not satisfied with the quality in education. Despite the importance of the events such as crystallizing experience, award-winning, and performance, most students don't have enough events for inspiring their giftedness. As a conclusion, this study gives a proposition for a strategy to improve the environmental catalysts for the disadvantaged gifted in many different ways: the improvement of social recognition, the enhancement of parent consulting and teachers training programs, and the development and diffusions of more qualified gifted programs and so on.
The energy metabolism with the normal laying hen and progesterone injected non-laying hen are compared. 1. The FHP of 109.7Kcal for laying hen was 25.5 percent higher than the 87.4 Kcal found for non-laying hen. 2. The MEm's of laying hen and non-laying hen were 149, and 135Kcal/Kg$\^$0.75/day and NAME's of the diets were 77 and 83 percent, respectively. For the laying hen shown negative retention in body energy during the experiment, the 77 percent NAME was the value of supporting egg production. For the non-laying hen shown the positive retention in body energy and zero egg production, the 83 percent NAME was of growth. 3. A change in body weight of 1g was comparable to 3.54 Kcal for laying hen, and 5.0 Kcal for non-laying hen, when calculated on regression equations between body weight change and body energy retention(BE). The figures indicate that the tissue energy is used with an efficiency of 70 percent for egg production. 4. Plasma level of triiodothyronine(T3) for the laying hen is appeared to be higher than that of non-laying hen, although the levels of thyroxine (T4) are equal both in laying and non-laying hen. 5. Activities of four hepatic enzymes(ATP citrate lyase, fructose diphosphate aldolase, isocitrate dehydrogenase and glutamte pyruvic transaminase) were significantly greater in the laying hen than in the non-laying hen.

Based on the results of this study, brain activation intervention programs can be applied to elderly people with dementia at the community level to help improve their cognitive function and relieve them from depression.
A knowledge map as the taxonomy used in a knowledge repository should be structured to support and supplement knowledge activities of users who sequentially inquire and select knowledge for problem solving. The conventional knowledge map with a hierarchical structure has the advantage of systematically sorting out types and status of the knowledge to be managed, however it is not only irrelevant to knowledge user's process of cognition and utilization, but also incapable of supporting user's activity of querying and extracting knowledge. This study suggests a methodology for constructing a networked knowledge map that can support and reinforce the referential navigation, searching and selecting related and chained knowledge in term of contents, between knowledge. Regarding a keyword as the semantic information between knowledge, this research's networked knowledge map can be constructed by aggregating each set of knowledge links in an automated manner. Since a keyword has the meaning of representing contents of a document, documents with common keywords have a similarity in content, and therefore the keyword-based document networks plays the role of a map expressing interactions between related knowledge. In order to examine the feasibility of the proposed methodology, 50 research papers were randomly selected, and an exemplified networked knowledge map between them with content relevance was implemented using common keywords.

The purpose of this study is to explore teachers' responsive moves that affect students' argumentation practices, and to propose responsive teaching strategies in argumentation-based science classroom. Two teachers, who have not implemented argumentation in their classes, and 57 students, participated in this study. We recorded and transcribed their classes and interviews for the analysis. According to grounded theory approach, we categorized the teachers' responsive moves as focused on either structural or dialogical aspects of argumentation, and qualitatively analyzed their responsive teaching practices in classes. We discovered that the teachers mostly responded to structural rather than dialogical aspects of argumentation, particularly during the students' small-group discussions. This was mainly due to their instructional goals, which focused on the structural aspect of argumentation, and the limited time available for supporting small-groups. Regarding the structural aspects, those responsive moves that explored the students' thinking or facilitated their reasoning helped them to share their thinking and justify their arguments further with recognition of learning goals in the argumentation activities. Regarding the dialogical aspects, which were seen mostly in whole-class discussions, the moves that underlined similarities and differences between arguments, facilitated the sharing of a small-group's arguments with the entire class, or asked a specific student to evaluate the arguments were notable. These moves supported clarification of various small-groups' arguments, which led to reconstruction of coherent argument through evaluation and rebuttal of these arguments, consequentially facilitating dialogical interactions. Based on these results, we proposed responsive teaching strategies in an argumentation-based science classroom.

Recently, modular construction method has been widely applied to projects with repetitive processes including dormitory, the residential facility, and the hotel construction due to reduced labor input and shortened construction schedule. Generally, about 40% of total on-site construction cost excluding unit installation cost, is put on exterior finishing work, and thus management of finishing work is deemed important in maintaining the targeted schedule and cost. Since limited equipment is shared so that subsequent activities are not affected while carrying out on-site installation and finishing work, lifting plan becomes more important for modular projects with greater portion of finishing work load. In this regard, tower crane operation plan may take the form of a single cycle or multiple cycles in which equipment efficiency can be affected. However, difficulties exist in evaluating alternatives to tower crane operation plans supporting unit installation and finishing work. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the alternative of tower crane operation method according to the cyclic period setting in modular building site to determine the effect on T/C uptime and process by parameterizing lifting time for unit and exterior finishing material, lift cycle for unit and exterior finishing material and time required for finishing work. Accordingly, this study develops a simulation model that can increase the tower crane efficiency by controlling the work speed. An academic contribution of this study is to suggest a resource leveling method applying the concept of lifting cycle, and further is expected to be managerially used as a basis for an alternative evaluation of equipment plan.

As forest land takes up 65% of the Korean peninsula, there have been continuing conflicts between the development and conservation of forest land. As the income level has changed over time, the usage of forest land in society has changed. There has been increasing demands for forest land for urban development and recreational use. On the other hand, a large proportion of the land is required to be preserved for the forest and the natural ecosystem in it. The existing management system for the forest land has been designed focusing on the management of the trees on the land, and not the land itself. Due to this limitation, the current management system of forest land has failed to protect the forest land from being developed indiscreetly, making it difficult to conserve and develop the forest land in an efficient way. A major question in forest land management is how to integrate economic use activities with the supporting ecosystems to maximize performance of the ecological-economic system. In order to promote sustainable use of forest resources, and to achieve efficient forest land management, it is prerequisite to evaluation on forest resources of natural ecosystems. Quantitative measures are needed that signify how necessary the services and products of forested ecosystems are to human endeavors. In this study, the natural wealth provided by forest land was quantified based on emergy synthesis. Emergy is a universal measure of real wealth of the work of nature and society made on a common basis. Thus, Calculations of emergy provide a basis for making choices about environment and economy following the general public policy to maximize real wealth. The goals of forest land management to achieve balance between the ecology and economy of its integrated system and to foster equity among the diverse outcomes of the forest land were assessed with emergy. Emergy was demonstrated to holistically integrated and quantify the interconnections of a coupled nature-human system allowing the goals of ecological balance and outcome equity to be measured quantitatively. Doing so will provide a better understanding of the basis of forest land wealth and the consequences of management decisions.
As ICTs are more advanced, in the current Smart Society that can be characterized by the terms of real-time, mobility and customization, the area of Geospatial Information is required to react to the needs of the society in more practical ways. Because Geospatial Information is getting more accepted as one of the very basic social infrastructure for everyday life activities in all sectors of life. In accordance, the legal basis of convergence Geospatial Information services are described on Geospatial Information Industry Support Law(Article 2, Item 7 & Article 4 Item 5). But it is required to come up with more detailed and practical definition of convergence GIS with more detailed supporting policies. In this context, this study aims at investigating what the needs of Geospatial Information services are in the Smart Society, and suggesting the policy directions and realization strategies of convergence GIS based on spatial hierarchy from global to local.
